Dr Gerry Bowler is a historian and author who is best known for his works on Christmas, such as The World Encyclopedia of Christmas, Santa Claus: A Biography, The World’s Greatest Christmas Stories and Christmas in the Crosshairs. He has a Ph.D. in History from King’s College London.
