The Good Human Project is for people striving to be better and do better.
You’ll hear diverse voices sharing a variety of experiences, insights, struggles, triumphs and perspectives.
By opening our ears, hearts and minds, we can expand the aperture of the lens with which we see each other and find new ways to be good humans working together to co-create a better world for all.
This episode is a must-listen for anyone who has human they love. It is a beautiful exploration of love, care, appreciation for the small things and the joy of seeing life through a lens of curiosity.
My guest, Rosie Paulyk, is the creator of Chronic Oasis, a Jazz musician and teacher, plus so much more. There are almost as many layers to her as in a vinarterta.
Throughout this episode, we explore uncertainty, what it means to care for a loved one with a chronic illness and the surprising gifts of being a chronic caregiver. She challenges what most people picture in their minds when they think of this chosen role.
Rosie has a knack for adding some sparkle, and she did with some singing during this episode.

Welcome to The Good Human Project! I am your host, Mariana Norton, and I am so excited that you are joining me in an exploration of the human experience and what it means to endeavor to be a good human.
In this first episode, I am sharing with you my hope for the Good Human Project. Doing what is right is intimidating in this day and age due to many factors, such as the extremely polarizing media, strong online opinions, and social unrest. However, being a good human doesn’t have to look a certain way, you just have to have an open mind, open ears, and open heart to learn from other human experiences outside of your own unique circumstances and privileges.
Throughout this episode, you will learn my definition and understanding of what a good human is. I talk about why I was compelled to start a podcast, what my hopes are for the impact on listeners, and a few key parts that I believe are important for being a good human.
Tune in to the first episode of The Good Human Project and learn the foundational mission for The Good Human Project and what’s to come for all of us good humans in-progress!
