In this episode I sat with Tye Blair to talk about being a Realtor. Tye is the creator of Spill the Beans Podcast where she interviews professionals across different industries to learn more about their professions and provide education and career development advice in conjunction with her nonprofit. Tye's nonprofit focuses on nourishing the lives of families of color and providing the building blocks necessary for health, growth, and sustainability.
This episode I had the chance to sit down with a childhood friend and real estate GURU Doug Depte. Doug has built an 8 figure real estate portfolio where from the very start of his real estate journey Doug just saw the real estate game differently. What may have taken others years to grasp Doug just got early on in his journey. On this episode of SESSIONS we got to sit down with the founder of For(bes) the Culture and SVP of Forbes Rashaad Lambert to talk about his journey to Forbes and beyond. Deeply routed in the tech, social, and entertainment space Lambert built a community of brilliant Black minds out of a 25 person planned gathering that ended up bringing out 300 folks strong. The community has now been built into 10,000+ changemakers. Lambert has definitely found HOME and he continues to do the work as For(bes) the Culture has become the premiere incubator for entrepreneurs on their Journey to Wealth!

As Skye says you can’t help or be a benefit to anyone else until you 1st take care of yourself.
On this episode of Home MADE Sessions we spoke to the creator of Lets Luxuriate Tanea and talked about what spawned the idea for her new women's loungewear line. Focused on allowing ladies to look and feel good as they "Luxuriate" whether at home, on the go, or on vacation Tanea Lets Chill PJs have quickly become a hit. Just in its infancy her brand is definitely one to watch out for.
It's officially episode 10 and it's time to bring it back HOME. This episode John interviewed had his first of many real estate focused interviews with one of Vesset Capital's founding members. Vesset Capital is a Real Estate Private Equity that looks at the market through a different lens as their tag line says their mission is to "help others build and retain wealth through real estate Investing, while advancing racial equity." Now they have widen their scope to building out this construction management and consultative brach.
