This week on the podcast, Sam talks through some of the latest research around motivation in sport. This is paired with personal anecdotes and advice from our special guest, Nicole Calder. She joins Sam and Ben to talk through her sporting journey and soccer career. Nicole has been playing soccer for the majority of her life, she travelled to the US on a soccer scholarship to do her university studies, before eventually moving back to Adelaide, now playing and coaching at Salisbury Inters.
Her career has not been without injury and other challenges and on this week's episode she shares her wealth of knowledge and experience about her motivation through the years as a player and how important it is to understand the motivation of her players as a coach.

Ben Hook is joined by Daniel Menzel this week on Beyond The Club!
Daniel started his AFL career at the Geelong Cats before moving to the Sydney Swans and now currently playing for the Woodville-West Torrens Eagles.
