In the second week of this series, Bro Blake steps into Acts 9 recalling the phenomenal conversion of the misguided religious, Saul. Today, there are many that have a religion that is misguided. Through Christ, that passion and desire can be redirected for the glory of God and for their good.
In this first week of this new series, Bro Blake looks at the account of Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch and how when God wants someone to be a part of His family, He communicates through the Spirit to those willing to be obedient to His call. No external differences can keep the true calling of God of witnessing from a truly called person of God.
Bro Blake brings the Nehemiah series to a close with Nehemiah's return to Jerusalem and his disappointment in their fall from holiness from God and the covenant they so clearly gave a true amen to in the not so distant past.
From Nehemiah 11 and 12, Bro Blake communicates the importance of gathering for the glory of God and the furtherance of His kingdom.
From chapter 10 of Nehemiah, Bro Blake shares on how the Jews gave a True Amen to the covenant they had agreed to keep. To truly keep a covenant, action must be taken and in this sermon today, this is the action that is revealed.
Bro Blake walks through chapters 7-9 of Nehemiah calling on reflecting on our past so we may know where we are and where we are headed.
Bro Blake walks through Nehemiah chapter 6 and how Nehemiah received personal attacks just as the work on the wall as finishing. This is no different today in that when Satan sees God's work finishing in an individual's life, salvation through faith at the doorstep of an individual, or a great work of ministry or mission being done He doesn't stop for anything at thwarting the work of God.
From Nehemiah 5 we find that God's word is timely and timeless as it deals with the relationship and the issues that come from the working class people and the governmental rulers. We need someone to be our advocate between the two and Nehemiah finds him providentially in this position.
In this week Bro Blake walks through chapter 4 of Nehemiah to show how Satan is working through distracting God's people from the work.
Building from the plans of chapter 2, Nehemiah begins putting together the team and the work to accomplish this enormous task for the Lord. From then until even now, teamwork is vital is the health of the church. Each work done for the Lord is a sacred work!
In week 2 and chapter 2 from Nehemiah we talk about plans and how they are very important to the work of God whether in be on a wall surrounding Jerusalem or on the mission of making Jesus known in our church, workplaces, and communities.
Bro Blake begins this new series walking chapter by chapter through the book of Nehemiah. Throughout this record, Nehemiah talks to many people in regard to seeing God's people restored and the walls of God's city, Jerusalem, restored. This is week1: Concerns.
In the final week of the three part series, Bro Blake concludes with Habits: Stopping. What is it that you and I need to stop or what bad habit needs to stop to become WHO we are to become.

September in the Psalms continues with a look at Psalm 1. Bro Blake walks through the first chapter in this week's podcast. The idea that perpetuates this Psalm is the person who is blessed has a relationship with the Lord and meditates and delights in his Word. From the life of Elijah Bro. Blake expounds from the Word how the Lord dealt with Elijah while he was battling one of the first accounts of depression. Many people today struggle with depression and from God's Word we can find some insight in how to combat the onset of depression.
From a mighty victory to the fulfilled promise, Elijah is continuing to follow the Lord. The Lord promised the rain and Elijah foresaw the fulfillment, gave a passionate prayer, and ran in the dashing downpour. God keeps his promises.
From one of the most memorable passages of the Old Testament, Bro Blake looks at the Challenges at Carmel when Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal and Asherah.
Bro Blake looks at the walk of Obadiah and Elijah observing the messages these men intended to carry to their destinations. We can see from the scripture that we are to carry the message with our hesitation, regardless of man's problems, and with integrity.
Bro Blake takes a look into the scripture of Elijah and the widow's son and how this relates to our lives today. Beyond the edge of death is being at death. When we are at death we have questions, requests, and testimonies.
Bro. Blake continues the series looking into Elijah's second personal interaction but this time with thew widow of Zarephath. Elijah goes to where the Lord sends him and encounters the widow who herself is at the edge of death. Together they are able by God's Word to live and trust more in the God of Israel.

In conclusion of the series, Bro. Blake encourages the church with the truth of Christ's presence as we go about making disciple of all the nations and as we go baptizing and teaching all that Christ commanded.
From the Great Commission, the Lord Jesus instructs his disciples to baptize and teach. From this understanding, Bro. Blake preached to the call of disciples applying and completing the work Jesus commissioned them and ultimately, all disciples.
From Matthew 28:18-20, the Great Commission, and from Acts 1:8 we find the empowering of the Holy Spirit, the value of people, and that the distance to go is not too great for the missional disciple.
