A little European inspiration for you in todays episode:
I was lucky enough to spend 3 weeks in Europe and fell in love with Rome. The culture and the architecture were stunning, buildings that were just made with other buildings. Or even buildings from ancient rome and then someone built a new building on top of it. Romans were great at reduce, reuse recycle. Rome was Built with Rome.
When you were born, you were given gifts, and a foundation for who you are.
Like the marble columns that hold up the colosseum walls, your gifts are the marble of your life. Your uniqueness is the ornate drawings that paint your soul. The beauty to who you are and what makes you…you.
Let's talk more about the magic inside and how the foundation of who you are is exactly what you need to become the dream version of yourself.

Ep. 9 - Setting Boundaries with Alignment Coach Alexandra Jones
Today is an exciting episode! It's the first interview ever for That Mental Shit.
My guest, Alexandra Jones, is an Alignment Coach and CEO of The Empowered Collective. She's also one of my best friends and inspires me daily on her mental health journey. I'm so excited to sit down and talk with her today to discuss: Boundaries. This is more like a conversation than an interview, and she will go in depth on the concept of boundaries, how to set them for others but most importantly how to set them with yourself.

Ep. 7 - The Advantage of Disadvantage
Today’s episode isn’t gonna be just motivation, I really wanna talk about some things I’m learning and a new idea I really think people need to talk and dive more into. And it really goes with what you guys hear me say alot, that there is no excuses for excuses. Like really, I don’t give a shit, there is always a way. So this topic of Mental and Physical Disadvantages and Advantages has become one of my favorites to dive into lately. And I think what makes it so ingtreguing to me is that disadvantages and advantages, are literally just perceptions. Your situation can be whatever you want it to be if you reframe it in your mind. So yes this episode might motivate you but I really would rather challenge your thinking. I really want to help you reframe your mindset and your beliefs about yourself and your situation. I literally find it so fascinating because I was told when I was diagnosed with Bipolar that it would be the biggest disadvantage of my life.Dont forget to leave a 5 star rewiew, screen shot and tag me on IG @thelaurenfritts

Episode 6 - Feel the Feels
Today’s episode is about feeling all the feels, processing your emotions, but also not dwelling in your shit. I am a firm believer in the saying, “it’s okay to not be okay” but there is a fine line between dwelling, and letting it take over your life and processing to empower you. You have to feel your feelings, but then you need to use them to fuel your fire to continue on and conquer life.

Ep. 5 - Finding Your Strengths
Here’s the thing, If I asked you to name one of your weaknesses, you probably can without a second thought. I mean lets be real, Most people in a 100-mile radius can. And you can do it probably with conviction. You’re pretty sure your right about your weaknesses.
But what if I asked you to share your strengths?
insert cricket noise here silence, hesitation, uncertainty. Self consciousness.
And when you finally come up with one strength to every 10 weaknesses you list, it’s like a question : Um I’m a good listener? Maybe?”
**So why are we so confident about our weaknesses and so uncertain when it comes to our strengths?
This episode we will talk about finding the inner strengths and using them to keep motivated and energy filled while we conquer our purpose in life.

Ep. 4 - Confidence is Found in Your Flaws
In today's episode, I tell you the number 1 thing I have found when trying to gain confidence.
Time and time again I get asked about confidence. How to have it, how to get it, how to be it. I have no doubt, Confidence is something every single one of us struggle with, probably ever since grade school and it’s followed us into our adult years. Scoiety bombards us With phrases like not good enough, not pretty enough, not smart enough, not qualified enough. I get the struggle, I mean How is anyone supposed to have confidence in a world like that. And that’s why building confidence is so important and you should be wanting to understand how to achieve it. Wanting more confidence is completely normal. Confidence can change the world.
Confidence in short, is owning who you are. The good and the bad.
So listen in as I help you navigate re-framing your flaws and using them as your magic.

Episode 3 - Overcoming the Power of Limiting Beliefs
Our beliefs are the basis for our entire life. They create our self-narrative and our core stories. Limiting beliefs allow for a limited life. Your time is now to get what your looking for. The time is now for you to be okay with being great. No matter what box your parents put you in, what society put you in, what you put yourself in. Your box is flimsy, it isn’t heavy or made of stone. Your box is easy to move. In this episode we will break down how to find out what limiting beliefs are holding you back and how to work through them in a way that heals you and encourages you.
