I am so excited to be starting off with the first episode of the year with one of the people who inspired me most in 2022. Shillann Rodrigues-Pena is a Clarkson resident, mother of 3 and in the eyes of myself and many others - a bit of a superwoman.

Her incredible 8 year old daughter Rian was born with a rare condition called AADC Deficiency and their journey from Rian’s birth, to her surgery overseas and her progress since is nothing short of miraculous. As her mother, Shillann embodies a type of faith, strength and gratitude that many of us can only hope to demonstrate.
