On today's iScore Caradh was joined by Pundit Arena's James Fenton following confirmation from the FAI that next season will see nine teams contest the SSE Airtricity League First Division.
James spoke about the Bray Wanderers and Cabinteely merger as well as the format of the League next season.
Acting Director of the Sport and Rights Alliance, Andrea Florence, joined Caradh on iScore today. Andrea called on the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to ensure the human rights of athletes' are respected.
This was in direct reference to the Peng Shuai case and Andrea spoke about the need for the IOC to follow in the footsteps of the Women's Tennis Association and pull the Winter Olympics from Beijing should the tennis player and her family's welfare not be ensured by Chinese authorities.
Caradh was joined by sports journalist Nancy Gillen on today's iScore to preview the Women's FA Cup Final.
The game takes place in Wembley tomorrow and marks 100 years since the FA banned women's soccer. It is also the 50th anniversary of the FA Cup and a record attendance is expected.
On today's show Caradh was joined by sports journalist Andrew Dempsey to discuss Ireland's 11-0 win over Georgia this week.
They also discussed the difference in standard across the women's game and the possibility of a tw0-tiered World Cup qualification system in the future.
On today's show Caradh chatted to Wexford Youth's star Lauren Dwyer ahead of tomorrows FAI Women's Cup Final. Lauren said she's hoping to be fit to start tomorrow following a leg injury which put her out of last weekends League game with Shelbourne.
She also spoke about her Mam passing away a few years ago and how football helped her deal with the trauma.
On today's iScore, Pundit Arena's Andrew Dempsey joined Caradh to chat about Ireland's win over New Zealand at the Aviva yesterday. Ireland won the match 29-20, their third win over the All Blacks in the last five meetings.
They talked about the reaction from the New Zealand camp as well as the need for Ireland to repeat the win when it matters most; at the World Cup.
Caradh caught up with Basketball Ireland Women's Head Coach James Weldon on today's show. They spoke ahead of Ireland's game against the Czech Republic in Tallaght this evening.
James expressed his delight to be back competing at this level, after "twelve years in the wilderness". The Irish team are looking to build on their silver medal performance from the FIBA European Championship for Small Nations in July.
Caradh caught up with Aaron Clarke from the Womens National League Show on today's show.
Peamount United can win back to back titles if they beat Galway United at home tonight.
Shelbourne will be looking to beat Wexford Youths tonight to keep their slim hopes of a league title alive.
On today's show, Caradh was joined by Pundit Arena's James Fenton to look ahead to tomorrow's World Cup Qualifier against Luxembourg.
They also chatted about Ireland's draw against Portugal last Thursday and if that performance was enough to guarantee Stephen Kenny a new contract.
They're enjoying unbeaten runs at the moment.
Monaghan's McKenna brothers, Stevie and Aaron, are back in the ring next Saturday to extend their unbeaten run in the professional boxing ranks.

Stevie McKenna is gearing up for his tenth professional win in a row next Saturday.
"I always go out to entertain, and I'm looking to make it ten out of ten next week" he said.
His younger brother Aaron fights for the WBC Youth Middleweight Title when he takes on Edem Bika of Ghana at the Coventry Skydome Arena.
A title which has been won by Canelo Alvarez in the past, Aaron said Canelo "is one of the best fighters in the world and will probably go down as one of the greatest."
"That's why I want to fight him in a couple of years, because in this game you have to beat the best to become the best and that's who I want to be fighting".

iScore has the lowdown on the big year the league has had.
The Women's National League is the top-level league for women's association football in the Republic of Ireland.
The league will wrap up next weekend after a competitive eight months.
They chatted about her return to the team and the improvements she has seen for the team and the league in general.
Starr said she has noticed big strides for the league especially in terms of exposure.
The US-born footballer has said that she's delighted women's football is getting a bigger push on social media and more efforts to increase supporter attendance at matches.
"You can definitely tell the strides that the club and the league as a whole are trying to make, with exposure and getting people to games and promoting it on social media," Starr said.
Starr also commented on the recent appointment of Ruth Fahy as CEO for Galway WFC.
Fahy became the first female CEO in the Women's National League.
Starr said, "I think it's huge. It's a step in the right direction for women's football in general and the club."
Starr is optimistic about Galway's chances next season but has also said the league itself is getting better.
"I think the league is only getting better, more competitive," Starr said.

Caradh spoke to former Republic of Ireland player Gareth Farrelly on todays iScore. More than two years since John Delaney left the Football Association of Ireland (FAI), they discuss whether there has been meaningful reform. Gareth talks about how the lack of transparency makes it difficult to determine whether or not significant reforms have been made in the FAI.
He also talked about the media's role in scrutinising the FAI and their governance as well as Sport Ireland's role in the matter.

Ian makes his UFC debut in New York next Saturday 6th November against Jordan Williams.
On today’s show Pundit Arena’s Rudi Kinsella joined Caradh to chat about Man Utd’s win over Spurs in the Premier League yesterday.
He said that Utd boss Solskjaer still had the backing of the players and may stay in his position for now. On the other hand, Spurs manager Nuno Espirito Santo could be in danger of losing his job after the loss.

Rosemarie Aquilina, the Judge who sentenced former USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar, spoke to Caradh on iScore today. This follows the death by suicide of former USA Gymnastics coach John Geddert on Thursday after he had been charged with sexual assault and human trafficking.
Judge Aquilina said that in order for there to be meaningful reform in US gymnastics there needs to be “a full investigation by an independent body”. She also spoke about the sentencing of Larry Nassar, who is now appealing its’ severity to the Supreme Court in Michigan.

Collingwood Football Club and Cavan GAA star Aishling Sheridan spoke to Caradh on iScore today following the first game of the 2021 season, which saw Collingwood get the win over rivals Carlton Women’s on Thursday.
The Cavan woman also kicked the first goal of the season in the AFLW. “I’m delighted to get the win and then obviously the goal” she told iScore today.
“I’m not going to lie, I was very nervous and I was talking to myself like…’Aishling you can’t miss this”.
The 2021 AFLW competition got underway this week and this season sees a total of fourteen Irish women involved. The rise in the number of GAA players making the move to the AFLW was highlighted last year when former Mayo Manager Peter Leahy told Mid West radio “there is a time that you should put your county first.”
When asked her thoughts on players having to choose semi-professional football over their county Sheridan said that “it’s quite unfair”.
“I was welcomed back onto the county team.
“When the opportunity comes to you to play semi-professional sport, experience a professional environment, like, it’s very hard to tell girls not to take that opportunity.
“If anything it develops you more as an athlete and a footballer”.

Paulina Tomczyk is Secretary-General with EU Athletes in Brussels. She spoke to Caradh about the new European Super League and how FIFA may not be able to sanction players who choose to play in it.
