Essentials of Salvation is a podcast devoted to exploring the meaning of the scriptures from an Apostolic Pentecostal hermenuetic. Each week we will examine the scripture and discuss the meaning of the passage and how it applies to daily life.
Revelation chapter two introduces the letters to the seven churches in Asia Minor (Modern Turkey). These letters were addressed as having come from Jesus, but Jesus used various descriptions of Himself as the one who sent the letter. He also gave instructions to the churches for today's church as well.
In this episode we discuss the Book of Revelation, chapter 1. Revelation was written by the Apostle John, one of the sons of thunder on the Isle of Patmos around 95 A.D.
