In today's final episode of Cancer Sucks, Jesus Saves, we speak with licensed therapist, Weena Wise, who specializes in walking with individuals and families through serious illness. She shares practical, compassionate advice on how to truly support someone facing cancer—not with clichés or quick fixes, but with presence, empathy, and faith.

We are indeed living in a spiritual war zone, and people are badly injured and hurting, even in our church pews.
What should be our response to this crisis? We can continue to ignore it and pretend that all is well, or we can face reality and realize that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds (2 Cor. 10:3). There are some things still worth fighting for! So join our guest, Pastor Brenda Billingy as she shares her personal testimonies of how God answers prayers! First comes love, then comes marriage...and for many of us, this is where it ends because we haven't thought beyond the fairytale. And neither did our guest Angie Clayton. Take a listen as Angie shares how God worked through she and her husband's mess, became the center of their union and is blessing them exceedingly, abundantly beyond their wildest dreams. Angie touches on some tough topics for us as women like submission, follow where he leads, lay your weapons down, and taking the first step towards healing (yeah, even if your husbands 99% of the problem). A few ouch moments but many more aha ones! You'll laugh, you'll cry and we pray you'll go love up your hubby a bit more too.

Did you know that over 70% of the women use the word "invisible" to describe themselves? Society does a fantastic job of packaging women in their 40s and over into boxes labeled with a sell by date or the dreaded expired sticker. You no longer need to be heard. You are no longer valued.
Well meet Kwavi as she shares her superpower for helping women become the best version of themselves while pursuing the kind of life they actually want....over the age of 50!
It’s time to not just age gracefully but to age boldly. Are you ready? Well, listen to this episode and we promise that you will cheer, laugh, praise, and did we mention laugh?
Oh, and join in the fun when one of Kwavi’s biggest fans joins the conversation! Seriously, you don’t want to miss today’s episode.

During the pandemic both Annie and Davenia binge watched a popular television series entitled Girlfriends Guide to Divorce. While it was meant to be entertaining, it actually made us a bit sad, because so many of the messages that the series sent were in direct contradiction to God's messages for Christian living.
So this episode highlights a conversation that we had with Patricia Watts John and Weena Wise, both divorced, both secure in God's love for them, and both living extraordinary lives. Join us for a candid conversation about how to see beautiful again, even post divorce. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you may even praise a little.

It's the Christmas season and today we're talking about trauma. We know it sounds depressing, especially during this time of year when most are focused on all the things that bring us joy like family and friends and Christmas movies and hot cocoa. Seems that a focus on trauma during the holiday season would be sad. But keep listening because this episode is for everyone – those of you who are in the midst of getting your Christmas on – decorating, baking, buying gifts, and wearing your Christmas sweaters – and for those of you who may be living in the aftermath of trauma.
We pray that this episode fills you with hope, love, joy and light and if you're bringing that energy as you listen, then we pray that this episode will remind you to share that light with others.
Join us as we pay tribute to our dear sister, Nefer Nitty (guest from Season 2 Episode 4) who lost her fight with cancer. Continue in prayer with us and you can also continue to support her family financially during this time through the Mazuri Ministries Website for a tax deductible donation (be sure to indicate Nefer Nitty in the comment section).
And continue listening as we share some of our favorite Christmas melodies.
Also, we hope you'll continue with us along our WEIGHT Loss Program as we strive to shed the final weighT of the Trauma.

Did you get any sleep last night with all the planning and preparations? Well what if this was your norm, like your everyday life? Well, for today's guest, it is. And you don't want to miss this episode Jennifer Titus shares the joys, the challenges, and the many, many faith-stretching moments she and her husband experience as they train up eleven children spanning in age from 18 years of age to 18 months. How ever does she do it all while maintaining a rhythm of calmness and connection to her heavenly Father? Take a listen and you'll find out how she does it and we pray that you'll learn some ways that you too can find ways to connect with God no matter what's swirling around you.
