Hi HIVERS!
Here's my Crazy and Scary night when the Typhoon Odette hits Cebu.
Sorry for I was late to post, because of the slow internet.
Starting from a calm noon at 3pm on December 16, I went to the sea shore to have a video on it and I was so comfortable that day cause I thought the typhoon has not to be land on south Cebu, because of many typhoon that came in every year I thought that it would be okay, then the night came at around 7:30 pm I went to my Grandfathers boat along side with my uncle and other friend of them, from the house we walk about 5mintues to arrive at our destination where the boat faces the sea shore and then we remove the wings of the boat and the floater and the we pull it up and put it to the high land and it has to be safe then, when the time passes the wind getting strong and the waves of the sea is getting so rough and I can't imagine that how strong was this typhoon are, so then I said to my grandpa that I will go home first, later on I went to my friends house to say hi and check them if their okay, and when I arrive they are not their because they go to the sea to watch and save the boat of my friend that is floating, so on that time I tell .y other friend that we should go and try to help them, so later on we walk for almost 20 minutes and then we arrive at the place we're the strong rain, strong wind and a bug waves of the sea, we struggle and we fought the wind, rain and the sand because it is to strong that we can't face it, so the time that the typhoon had landfall around 9pm on that night, I always think my family if they were safe there in the house, so I said to my friends that I will go first because I'm so worried at my family, and then I go first and left my friends and also their is no electricity already and the flashlight that I used was on a small lighter and then I run faster and I feel so scary and I always think on that time that Lord God if what ever happens to me please be protect my family, then I continue to run and every second that counts when I run I see trees that went down some electric wires went down and some roofs that been layed on the streets and I think on my self that what if there's a tree that run down on me or a roof will fly and run down on me or an electricity went cut and caught me, so I run and run so fast i remove my slippers because it's so slippery and then later on it came to my mind and think that this is my last chance to be alive I think on my self that this is 50/50 situation so then I run and run then I almost near at the Brgy. Hall of our place, there's a one roof thats so loud because of the strong wind and I always look to the roof when I'm running and then the roof fly away towards me and also I think on that time that I will be dead already so when the roof went flying on me I jump so hard and the roof hits on my legs and then the roof it went away and I continue to running and stop on a little house that has a light and I look up on my legs if they were okay and then I check and there is no wound and I said that thank God that I'm okay, so i continue to run until I got home on the house and my family said that were have you been when this kind of situation you must stay indoor because outdoor it is not safe, so I tell them that were I came from and later on I sit on a chaire and didn't talk and I've been having trauma on that night,
And in the morning the typhoon was gone and I went outside their so many house's that been broken almost houses has no roof and went wreck, and all tree went cut and fell down on the ground,
And also the survival mode starts on December 17 when we're no lights no electricity and the gasoline is so hard to buy that you must form a line so you can buy a gasoline when your turn comes, also same on the mineral water that you drink it's so hard to get it because their are 2 gallons of water for every household on the family, and the Mayor here in Moalboal selling it because they had a Generator and a refilling station, so I lined up the 7 gallons of mine and starts to line up at 8:30am and I got the water 12:11am at the midnight it's almost 17 hours to get a water to drink and I also sacrifice for it cause I have my family defends on me for the water to drink. And then when I got the 7 gallons of water we went home and I almost out of energy and I did not sleep I went to panagsama around 2:40am and looking for a network for to chat on others and try to communicate to them but it's hard to catch a strong cignal so I went to sleep and tommorow is another survival day on my hometown.
Once again this is Christian aka Takmol saying that even if the hard time comes you need to fight for it and their will be a blessing soon, Godblessusall everyone

LOVE like the Ocean
Sharing my love for the ocean with my girlfriend.
Hi Hivers! This one here is a different take from my usual posts as this time it's gonna be a bit cheesy, but definitely worth sharing.
Last weekend we went diving with my friends and with my girl. The video i posted is the sum of that day with my special one. She is also a freediver like myself, enjoys underwater things as much as I do and loves the ocean more than you could imagine.
We share a deep passion for freediving and island life. I like watching her deep love for the ocean and everything that connects with it. We like playing underwater and taking videos and pictures, or just simply swimming and watching turtles and fishes and talk about what we saw afterwards. I am more experienced in terms of underwater life so she always asks me anything related to the ocean and i answer as well as best as i can.
I'm so glad we have this as one of our common grounds. I intend to swim more with her, dive more, talk more and just going with the flow more, with her. Like the ocean, relationships can be calm or still, rough or harsh but in the end, it's always beautiful.
For the ocean that keeps on giving, and love that keeps on burning β€οΈ
Thank you for your time! Im Christian, wishing you an awesome day wherever you at watching this :)

Hi HIVERS! it's been a while since my last post, but this time i present to you my shots under water video when i do snorkeling guide.
Thanks to sir Adonis for letting me guide his guest's and for the safety of the snorkelers, and also a big thanks for ma'am Michelle and ma'am Gavin for allowing me to use their video for posting on Hive.
and also a Reminder! to all HIVERS, that if you visit Moalboal Cebu and take snorkelingventure there is a 100 peso snorkeling fee and if you have a passlip from tourism you will pay only 75 peso, cause you already pay 25 peso to tourism office, that's the new ordinance of moalboal tourism, this ordinance starts on first week of October, and also Saturday and Sunday they collect the fees but on weekdays they did not collect fees cause there are small people visit moalboal on weekdays only in weekends they collect cause more people come to visit Moalboal, what a mind blowing idea of the tourism of moalboal.
Once again this is Christian Sabanal "aka" Takmol saying that stay safe and Godblessusall thank you.

Hi HIVERS!
The "BUDOL FIGHT" means that if there are a feast or a birthday or what kind of party celebration, when friends or family planning and preparing for the eat, this is the fastest and easiest way to eat. you don't need spoon or pork to eat, this one you can only use is your own bare hands, why? Cause less dishwashing and only a leaf of a banana you will use for the banquet of food, and no other kitchen utensils include while eating,
A budol fight is a happy eating progress cause most of your friends or family eat together with a celebration like this was fun, you will stare to each other while eating and talking and making jokes and laughing all together was the most important for the budol and ofcourse your tummy is full.
the preparation for the food starts at 2pm and finish at almost 6pm, cause the mud crabs had to cook longtime for the tasty and smooth meat.
The one that you sea on the middle of the video in the center of the rice and the mud crabs was the "SAN-SAN", the san-san was made on a not so old coconut and the clean intestine of the mud crabs, and mix together and cook it together with the mud crabs so the soup of the "san-san" mix into the meat of mud crabs and you will get the tastiest and the creamiest meat of the mud crab.
Once again this is Christian Sabanal aka TAKMOL saying that thank you and KUDOS to my Friends and relatives for the making and the successful process of the video, GODBLESSUSALL.

This one called "KAGANG" kagang lives at land and digs a whole to where it lives, and during night time also they went out specially when raining time, it's like a fiesta for them and they hunt more food when it's raining and bigger kagang will go out for the hunt also, and We catch 40 kagang at the same night hunt.
A big thanks to my cousin and friend for the hunt, @deanjames @makoy @kaloy

Hello HIVERS.
Since my last post, we planned to hunt a mud crabs. Me my cousin, relatives and friends was on a thrill mission to catch a mud crab to eat. mud crabs are exotic food and they will appear only in night time, so we plan and decide to do it this time.
My cousin told me that its almost 3 months that he didn't eat a mud crab and its 5 months for me, the first time that I tried to eat mud crab is on panagsama place in Moalboal, my friend bought it cause the people that ate it, can't finish the food, so he dicide to bring us the left mud crab food and we ate it and give thanks to people and my friend that he gave it to us.
So this time my cousin tells me that your second try will be cleaner than your first time. Because your first time didn't remove the tommy area of the crab that's why it's dirty, But this time I'll clean it much better and put a powder that it will clean the whole crab and I brush it, so I trust him.
And we catches two types of mud crabs, this video that you will see is an "ASAN" known, they called it ASAN the name of this mud crab cause they live around the fish pond were the bangus "MILK FISH" lives, a bangus lives in a fresh water along side with other fresh water food like mud crab, fresh water snake and fresh water shells.
Stay tuned for part two HIVERS, I'm sure that you will enjoy this video and more.
Once again this is Christian Sabanal aka "TAKMOL" saying that stay safe and Godblessusall.

hi HIVERS!
Whale Shark "Rhincodon typus" in Tagalog language "Butanding", in Bisaya language "Toki", a Whale shark is a one of a Friendly Mamal that Lives in the Ocean, that's why their called the "Gentle Giants".
They only feed on small planktons like small shrimps, and other small fish that grows like the shrimps, they will make close contact to people if they are fisherman's, fishing and their bait was the small shrimps called "UYAP".
in the middle of April 2021, 3 whale shark seen in Panagsama Moalboal Cebu, and make a close contact to people who are doing snorkeling and freediving I was also there to taking photos and videos and do guiding on snorkelirs. It's like a fiesta on the ocean for too many adventurer who wants to see the whale shark for free. Unlike in OSLOB, that you will pay for 500 peso for 30 minute swim, it's like a blessing for us, because it's free and many guest arrive to watch and see for the whale shark.
but later on tragic happen, there's a rumors that the LGU at Moalboal trying to owns the Gentle Giants and no one will agree on it, and the day after DENR came along early at the morning when the whale shark make close contact around 6am the DENR personel make close contact to the whale shark and they put a tag on it, reasons why they put a tag on it because they will try to slave them and make money on it like on oslob, but later on at the same day that they put a tag on it the Gentle Giants never saw again.
it's because of what they did to the whale shark that no one will agree and the whale shark being hurt by putting a tag on their fin at the upper part fin.
since then the Gentle Giants never make a close contact again at Panagsama Moalboal area again.
Once again this is Christian Sabanal saying that thank you and Godblessusall.

Hi HIVERS!
This is the day that hits me very hard and emotionally sad ππ.

I didn't go to sleep that time cause if I go to sleep I will be late at my guide time, and later on I found out that my grandpa died at 2:36am and I feel very very very sad. cause I'm not there by his side although my mom and my aunt/uncle was there, but im totally down that day i didn't talk to much to my friends my self went down, everytime that day i think was only my grandpa.
Later on at the afternoon he get buried by a short time that all of the family gathers for the last time.
My grandpa said, that he was strong and energetic.
He said that if I died buried me at that day, I don't want to be at the funerary that takes my blood and inject formmaline to my body. and he maid here own Casket, cause he don't want to spend to much money by that and he want a simple funeral and his happy for that.

Hi HIVERS! sorry for being a bit late in posting a video but don't worry because this time .. i'll introduce you to the three BIG GENTLE GIANTS called Whalesharks π
This is my third time in OSLOB - (Brgy Tan-awan in Oslob, Cebu is where you can find them)
The first time i came to Oslob was with my auntie's friend, around 2015 & the water in oslob during that time was clear and it was so peaceful.
The second time i went was with my friend, in 2017. We went to the area where the whaleshark stays when they feed them with little SHRIMPS! π¦ called UYAP, in bisaya/cebuano dialect.
But then, I'm distracted by the smell of the water coz it stinks! The smell came from the little shirmps that has been in stock for some time and also from the oil coming from the shrimps that stays in the water.
Anyway i do like whalesharks but the way they treated them here is actually not good. The people who always feed them will cause them to forget how to hunt their own food and also, the whalesharks always stay on that area-- every morning until noon time & then they leave around 1pm and THEN comeback again at 5am.. it's like a routine and i just feel like they have been in prison by this routine for years. At the same time, the government can't do anything because the residents of Oslob mainly are earning money from this "tourism" activity so unfortunately all I can also do is just to watch them feed. π
I just hope someday something can be done to improve this tourism situation that would benefit both the people of Oslob and most importantly the whalesharks as well.
Anyway that's it for now, thank you for dropping by & once again this is Christian AKA TAKMOL wishing you to always be safe and God bless us all.

Hi HIVERS!
K A U B - noun., wood that sinks under the water.
This shoot was inspired by the makers of A N G E L I T A, shot and directed by Josiah Gordon starring Chelsea Yamase and Sam Colder. A story about depth, love, and the decisions we make and pursuit of all things which require courage.
The clouds were gloomy, and the water visibility wasn't good but the water was calm so the shoot must go on.
During our first shoot, we had a little bit of trouble because of the camera case that we were using. Water was entering the case so we had to go up to the surface and fix it, and I had to put a tissue on both sides of the case to help the process.
On the first and second dive, I didn't use mask for intense hold and relaxation underwater. For other divers this one was very hard to practice because without using mask when diving a 7-8 meter deep dive can be suffocating.
First, οΈit's hard to control breathing and seeing underwater, the water enters to your nose and it's so blurry for you to see underwater. However for me it's a 70/30 out of 100% process that's because I always practice not using mask every time I dive so its okay. π
And also we didn't forget about our safety protocols for diving for this shoot.
So once again, this is Christian Sabanal - aka TAKMOL, saying thank you everyone, keep save and God bless us all!

Hi everyone! Since I didn't start to shoot my final video yet, I will instead tell you something about how I relax and easily put my self laying, sitting, and balancing underwater.
At first, I practice my balance from Scubadiving then at Freediving. I made it into one. Why? Because everyday I go to my work at a Diveshop Center and go diving or freediving day after day, night after night until I learned to manage to submerge with no fins, mask, and weights.
Here's a secret: put all your emotions away, think of all the positive energy you felt yesterday or this past years that you had, or the happiest day that you experienced in your entire life or the good times you had with your family, friends, or even with your partner.
Also, with breath-hold and no weights attached. βοΈ Breath-hold: first when you go for a swim and try to submerge with mask or no mask, you must relax and put away all the heavy emotions and release it at once. It's hard right? For me it's easy because I've tried that many times.
Sometimes I hate myself when I see those people that has more experience than me, I get jealous when I see them submerging deeper than me. So I ask myself, why? Then I realized, if I try to practice more, I will make it to the top but not necessarily ON the top, you can't even do that, unless you have the right talent or you're a superhuman π
So once again, this is Christian Sabanal - aka TAKMOL, saying thank you everyone, keep safe and God bless us all.
