Welcome to 'The Mix Down', a podcast hosted by Troy Kete, Brad Clive and Nick Mylky. Each episode we will touch on a bunch of subjects based around the music scene in New Zealand and around the world.
On this episode we have Mitch Lowe, A Tauranga based entrepreneur and event promoter that runs some of the biggest music festivals in New Zealand. We chat about where it all started and how he got to where he is today, some of his side projects like 'Bring People Dancing' and some Q&A from Instagram, plus we touch on the whole Mardi Gras Queenstown dilemma from earlier in the year. We also welcome back Mylky after his small hiatus. On this episode we chat to Auckland DJ/Producer/Promoter and just all around good dude 'Raoul Marinthe'. Raoul is a club promoter for one of Auckland's busiest nightclubs 'AV', as well as events company 'Wise Fools'. He's also one half of House duo 'Booty Tango' which is making waves in the scene ATM. We touch on a few subjects around the club scene and how different it is from a few years ago plus a bunch of cool things Raoul has been doing. Hope you enjoy and see you on the next one.
