While there are tons of scientific explainations for much of the brain, the "magic" it is capable of making is still largely misunderstood. From a laymen's view of our thinking process, it becomes easier to understand both: how we think, and just as importantly, what natural processes change that thought process. The Shaman and his grandfather discuss the human thought process as well as a comparison against a dog's thinking. Because of the onslaught of cultural dilution that has occurred over the last several millennia many of us find ourselves deeply pondering what culture are we exactly, and what possible influence does it have on our lives. Sometimes it takes some searching, sometimes it takes an investment in the culture, most of the time it takes a lot of reading. It takes different kinds of reading. Firstly, it takes a historical perspective. Truly understanding what our ancestors were thinking and feeling. Secondly, it takes a spiritual dive into what they may have understood as the boundaries of this physical life time. As well we need to look at their understanding of the spiritual world around us, and how they interpreted that.

We have spoke of the necessity of embracing our culture, yet many have asked me what this really means. But yet many don’t understand the infusion of individuality within centuries of generations. How each generations adds to the collective of the cultural heritage, yet their environment is just as important as the people in the environment. Especially during the earliest of civilizations we witness the migration of the hunter/gatherers followed the herds, leading them into new environments, new spiritual connections that those people had to interact with.

While I may have discussed many different topics, one may wonder where is my pedigree for becoming a Celtic Shaman. Why aren’t I a Druid instead of a Shaman? Why do I feel as if I am a Shaman, particularly given that the religious figures associated with the Celtic culture? While some of my wisdom has been gathered from experiencing many different events in my life, much of what I now know has been given to me through a spiritual connection, or channeling spiritual entities. Unlike some I’ve spoken to over the years, I have practiced my channeling skills to the point where I now have simple conversations with my ancestors, and other spiritual entities. Sometimes I receive connections from you, the listeners, as I seek aura connections during meditation and trance work. I have been given the role of the Shaman, not by physical mortals, but by the infinite beings of energy I call my deities. These deities have determined that because I have developed the skills of traveling in both: the world of the physical, and the world of spiritual energy. This ability is what allows me to communicate the wisdom and knowledge from the spiritual realm, to help other physical beings experience the joy and harmony that they were designed to have.

While this week’s episode may sound very close to the stereotypical guru atop the mountain peak offering words of wisdom, it is truly the very core of our function here on the physical plane of existence. Seeking the meaning of life. Many have asked about what is the true meaning of life, and as I’ve been taught, the true meaning of life is contentment. Not wealth, not power, not religion, and certainly not politics, and believe it or not, it is not even happiness. While there are as many ways for each of us to find contentment, it can be fleeting, or an overarching source of true lifelong intrinsic definition of true success.

Most physical beings throughout the history who have put any thought to it, have wondered what happens to our consciousnesses when our physical sensory input stops and the physical body ceases to function anymore. What really happens when the bio-electricity generated and managed by our physical body stops inputting information into our brain? Many have come to me fearful of death, and I have met many who are fighting tooth and nail to retain their physical body, fearful of succumbing to their physical death , sometimes enduring endless pain and suffering. The aged old questions about what we can expect to experience when we let out our last breath has plagued humankind for as long as we have had cognitive thought. Many people have come to me and inquired as to whether they should be afraid of death, or not. Humankind has been afraid of the unknown powers of the universe for as long as they have had cognitive thinking processes. Some have been programmed by years of religious practices that have taught them to fear death because of this unknown. However, I am here to tell you that there is no unknown. Death, is just the passing of the physical body leaving then the spiritual consciousness to then explore its next phase of existence. Remembering that the spiritual realm isn’t bound by the laws of time and space means, many, many, questions could be answered as we slip our earthly bonds. All of those things attached to our biological body are then left behind, typically this includes pain and suffering as the physical body has been shutting down. Much like all other life forms, in many cases, we have a rebirth in to the next phase of our lives which, is our spiritual existence.

Humans do not seem to have as many struggles with their physical relationships as they do with their spiritual ones. We (the human race) have a much easier time interpreting our visual, combined with our audible input, as to better understanding our physical relationships than we do with interacting with a spiritual force that gave us life. Regardless as to whether you believe in evolution, or one of the many creation stories documented throughout the previous millennia, I believe we can all agree that there was a process that begat modern day humans. Whether it’s Embla and Ask, Adam and Eve, or Dick and Jane, they did not have the technological minds that modern day humans current use.

There once was a time, way back in history, long before the Jewish peoples of the Middle East began the practice, and control of their peoples understanding of the mysterious forces of the world, there were men and women who interacted directly with the spirits. They recognized the balance maintained by these spiritual forces throughout all of existence. Today, I’d like to take a minute to express my understanding of the practice around monotheism took a darker, more sinister path. Now, before one gets upset, I understand the recognition of a singular deity figure. I get it. However, knowing what you think you know about your deity, don’t you think it might be a little arrogant to think he/she/they have only one presence? Could the same deity be viewed from any other angle, maybe in another form, or even in a different way all together?

Today, I’d like to discuss the influence the regional culture would have played in the development of spiritual beliefs throughout the early days of those beliefs. When considering the later development of language, and much later of the written word, we must consider that the earliest conveyance of spiritual ideas would have been very simplistic, and they would have had a very isolated experience base. Parents would have passed this understanding on to their offspring in very simplistic terms, most likely orally, and those ideas would have been expanded on as we move down the evolutionary path.

Many of those who would condemn my teachings have come to me and complained about my beliefs in the mystical world of magic, typically associating it with “evil”, or dark forces. Honestly, there is absolutely no difference between my understandings of magic, and that of the modern day prayer. To this point, some early transcripts have been recovered that demonstrate the early church’s adaptation of many of the local customs within the areas they invaded. Today, I’d like to look at the power of prayer, or more importantly, the spiritual energy that moves prayers and spells from incantation to manifestation in the physical realm. But, I don’t want us to waste our time looking at these spiritual process through the glasses of modern day religion, but instead, look at this phenomenon from a quantum scientific level. While the many different discussions I have had with different people have led me to believe that the allegations I have made about the “brainwashing caused by the modern monotheistic practices” is accurate, I truly believe it is a matter of those individual demanded ignorance, and ultimately has come down to different perspectives of the same understandings.

In my everyday practice of helping others to obtain their freedom from their psychological trauma, this lack of self belief seems to be an overwhelming focal point. Many throughout the years who have allowed for the deterioration of their intrinsic confidence, which then becomes a definite hampering in their belief of the self who then have sought me out as being necessary to re-instate their belief in themselves, which is simply a misunderstanding of themselves. Today I’d like to discuss the understandings that I have been given from my spiritual communications that may better help us to understand how to move forward, to restore and maintain our own belief in ourselves. The lack of confidence in one’s ability to accomplish a particular task should never undermine the belief in oneself.

Hello my friends, and welcome to this week’s message. I can only begin to count the number of times the topic of “why are we here” has been brought to me in search of some answer in which the inquirer may find trust in. Let us take some time today to clarify what exactly our existence’s purpose is, and the different ways that our trajectory towards this purpose is achieved. Today I’d like to discuss how our “selves” achieve this overall purpose. What many have wondered is why do I deserve this sorrow, pain, and despair. Why do these horrible things keep happening to me? While many simply assume that this is the way things just are, it is not really the case. In some cases the ill intention of others begins an intrinsic cycle of the application of shame that creates the burden of guilt within our psyche, thereby “infecting” all the other thoughts and undermining beliefs within our minds. It is this negative cycle that can set as the “default” state of incoming energy, allowing this inadvertent intention to set the polarity towards an undesirable charge.

Many have asked me about how they can obtain a feeling of fulfillment within their lives. They have told me that they don’t wish to continue their drive for money, drugs, alcohol, sex, or hundreds of other addictions. Many have had much of these things within their lives, yet find that their hearts are not yet filled. I have spoken to many who’s practice of modern-day religion has left them with a sense of emptiness, myself included many years ago. Others have reported to me their vast social circles have not fulfilled their deep desire for completeness. This my friends becomes an understanding of our Koilia. Koilia is a Greek word that means “space” or “cavity”, and some psychology scholars describe it as the inner most part of our selves, our spiritual connection.

Many people have made comments to me about this over the years, therefore I believe it is only right that I create a discussion to pass on the wisdom that explains the exploration of our intrinsic power and ability of free will. While many of the modern-day holy texts mention this idea that humans were given this individual power of free will, thereby fostering an altering of our trajectory through this journey we call life, most struggle to embrace what this really means. Let’s us talk about this free will, and what that really means within our modern day physical existence. We know from all the holy texts, as well as from our ancestors for hundreds of thousands of generations, that we, as humans, maintain the authority, and the intrinsic power to alter our trajectories through life. How does this happen? What are some real-world scenarios that we can see where others have altered their trajectories through alternate paths, thereby altering their ultimate destinies?

Many people have inquired about amulets or objects to include in their rituals to recognize their gods, or spiritual connections throughout the physical plane. They have inquired as to how do they go about setting up their alters to perform rituals and/or prayer sessions. While the spiritual self is connected to the spiritual realm at all times, they feel as if they must perform some type of ritual for good omens. This is a great discussion to have, as most in the modern times have long forgotten the ancient ways or Forn Sidr. Let us take todays session, and discuss our connecting objects within our spirituality as the tokens or totems they are. Whenever we start this discussion the idea of idols to focus our spiritual energy on, the first topic should be as to whether the object has ever had a life force within it. We need to identify those objects that have had life as they will have the memories of directing the life force, whereas man-made objects will not.

Hello my friends, and welcome to this week’s discussion about moving the spiritual energy from all around us through our aura to the physical body to provide healing energy. As you may remember from last week we talked about the necessity and function of the aura, and how some of the energy passed through the aura, is absorbed into the physical self, which may translate into physical sensory input instead of what they were intended as. While other particles of energy are passed to the chakras, to provide good feelings, and spiritual healing. We might also remember that the there was several key factors that could potentially damage this transmission of energy within the construct of our aura. Whether we are identifying the frequency at which the aura is projected, or the clarity of the aura’s transmission channels, which could severely alter these energy particles passing through it. Before we journey too far into the Chakras, let us consider for a moment what energy are we talking about. We are talking about love. The loving energy of Mother Earth who is constantly projecting love and light to all the inhabitants.

Many have come to me and inquired about the use of one's aura. Most of them do not understand the physical value to preserving a clear physical mind, that would translate to a clear aura. Today, I'd like to talk about our aura, as well as a detailed explanation of its usage as physical beings. What exactly is our personal aura, and how do we create it? Technically, we (as physical beings) have no influence as to whether the aura exists or not, nor what other entities interact with it. We do have a substantial amount of influence as to how large it is, and how clear it is, or how well we understand the message (energy) transmitted through it. This is a process that begins before we are born. Our aura is directly associated with our spiritual self, and therefore, when our spiritual self is bonded to our physical self (at the moment of conceptualization) our aura is established, although very small at first, and not very clear. Like any of our physical muscles, so too must the aura be exercised to continue to extend it reception, clarity, and energy transfer abilities.

Hello my friends and welcome to this week’s teaching here on the Alaska Úlfhédnar. We have so enjoyed meeting with many of you and talking about your unique life’s journey to awakening, and the discovery of your own spiritual path. In almost all of my podcasts I speak about embracing these beliefs, hopefully we can discover and promote, and encourage this community of peace. This community can then obtain harmony which will then lead to individual happiness and joy as well as humanities next evolutionary step. Let us seriously consider this path towards a society of peace and love between its members, and accept the responsibility to accept the mantel of spreading the universal love throughout the world. The journey of this discovery begins within each of us. By opening one’s heart and accepting the universal love of the universe we begin our exploration of possibilities. Let us invite Ódinn to our discussion, and may he grant us the wisdom.

Today I’d like to take some time to consider the commonalities among all theological beliefs, stemming from the very beginning of humankind. We must be willing to set aside our bravado and ego, and allow the heart to soften. Opening our heart exposes one to a world of unity and understanding that some may never know. But first, let us take a minute to push away our thoughts of a demonstrated practice, journey beyond those demands of obedience and assimilation, to that of the underlying doctrine. The understanding of a group of figures we’ll call “the deities”. Our god, or gods. Our finite understanding of an infinite being, and our relationship with him/her/them. Come with me now, and let us explore together the path of unity.

The question that immediately comes to mind is I wonder why I have any need to. Herein lies the true understanding of spirituality, everyone interprets it differently, and that’s ok. Today I’d like to speak to the perceived necessity of reconciling our beliefs under a common flag of inclusion, and the impracticality of that process from a fundamental level. Spirituality should be in absolute parallel with us as physical human beings. Today, we’ll look at some key indicators that we all need to focus on, as we embrace our own spirituality, instead of constantly searching for reasons of division and segregation.

This week I’d like to discuss our life’s work, obtaining Empathy. We’ve discussed on many of our previous discussions how our intrinsic chemistry, driven by the underlying genetic code, creates what our minds interpret as feelings. These feelings are stored in the memory of our physical mind, with related memories associated to it, that can become ingrained into our psyche over time. The key to understanding this cycle and breaking free from those memories of feelings is to address them head on, and dilute the “relationships” that these memories use to associate with other memories within the mind.

As we may be aware, our spiritual health pivots around the inter connectivity from the physical body, through our personal aura, to the spiritual realm. So, one must begin this discussion with the elephant in the room, what exactly is our aura? The aura is a projection of our soul, if you will. It communicates our emotional state, our spiritual beliefs, our ancestral ties, as well as our physical and mental health. The aura is controlled by a multitude of factors that we must be cognizant of whenever projecting our desires to the universe. The aura of each individual extends in every direction from there being, and seeks out other auras at which to interact with. Each aura is representation of the chemical/emotional state of the individual.

When considering the size, or breadth of an entity that is an infinite being, we need to deeply consider what exactly does that mean? While we can get a glimpse of what infinity would look like by looking out into space, how would we conceptualize that vastness of an infinite entity. Today, I’d like to take a minute and discuss the impossibility of man’s futile, limited, mind to possibly comprehend a being of “infinity”. At the risk of needing to shrink down to molecular level, then look up to see if the NBA’s finest standing before us. His legs alone would disappear beyond a vanishing point. This drives the question, could we be small enough to look upon a deity’s form, only to recognize it as the vastness of space?

In this episode I’d like to speak to the ways that many among us have sought to keep the people separated, either inadvertently, or on purpose, the end goal is the same. Once a “seed of thought” is planted for division, the participants will exaggerate it whether real or not. I’d like to discuss the differences between the natural division of people and beliefs by both: geographic separation, and population control division. This practice really came into usage many generations before the changeover of the geological epoch, thereby forcing a “we versus them” type of mentality, particularly regarding spirituality. The unfortunate reality is that society seems to find more ways to separate peoples, and in many cases, “pit” them against each other. We need to consider all of these methods of division, and set them aside to achieve harmony and tranquility.

Today I’d like to discuss how religion affects our basic psychology, as many of you have asked me how that works. This is a great question, and I think it deserves a thorough discussion, because I feel that most people don’t understand even by thinking that “my spirituality has nothing to do with me as a person”, does it make it right, and I strongly disagree with the premise. This is especially true when an individual declares a lack of faith in anything spiritually related at all. I propose that our entire psychological foundation is built upon values established by monotheistic practices which has mutated from a dependence on honor and truth, to the population control paradigm it has become. The most basic of constructs within our mind is based on values of “good” or “bad” that was instituted and “programmed” into our psyche from before our physical birth, most often inadvertently by the previous generations (no offense to the moms and dads here). These core understandings establishes the cornerstones to what we will interpret any information received. This then becomes our knowledge, and ultimately our wisdom. However, I want to be sure I separate the theology from the practice, as monotheistic theology makes complete sense, however, the horrible methods of conversion and implementation of the monotheistic practices across the globe needs to be identified as the psychological “brain washing” and domineering population control it is.

In this episode we will discuss the roles that these spiritual entities play in our lives. Helping us all to understand the difference between accepting life’s consequences, and making life’s choices. When discussing “the fates” we need to have a clear understanding of the roles they play within the average person’s life. How to avoid them, but firstly, we need to understand where they came from. While the word has taken on many different meanings over the millennia, the underlying concept of fate was that it was a state on the other side of the coin from destiny. Destiny represents a directed journey that the individual accomplished what they set out to do, whereas it would have indicated that we arrived at our fate if we fell short of destiny.

In this episode I’d like to organize our thoughts around the this physical life time by discussing the inclusion of the effects of what is referred to as “the fates” as well as the underlying principle of “destiny”. I’ll apply some Norse beliefs around these concepts based on both: the sagas, and the Germanic-Dane legends that have been ingrained in my mind since childhood. While my personal ancestry is of Germanic Dane descent, I find that the legends of the Landvætti stem from the Germanic tribes migrating north with their beliefs in tow. However, my ancestry are, by no means, the only culture who discovered the spiritual world that surrounded them. In this consideration, we see that the indigenouspeoples of the eastern asian cultures included the spirits, and would ultimately deliver them to North America across the Beringia Land Bridge during the dawn of man. We also find the same ideas surfacing in Western and Southern Africa, ultimately migrating to Haiti, arriving in the southern North American continue as Voudou. In seriously considering the validity of the spiritual world, the first question we need to ask is “Why would there have been so many cultures throughout the history of human evolution who legitimized their existence, independently?” This is an interesting phenomenon, however, let’s talk a little about the how I (based on my Norse beliefs) see the spiritual world is kept in balance by the fates, and one’s personal destiny.

In the earlier days of human evolution, we know from historical facts that the basic ideas like honor and integrity held a very high esteem in the population of the time, and throughout the generations between then and now, we have all witnessed the corruption of this basic principle in a futile attempt at controlling the masses. By being to deploy this psychological control, the carnage has included depression, lack of self-esteem, and more recently the explosion of PTSD symptoms. The primary issue that surfaces when discussing sin is that one is immediately faced with the arbitrary assignment of its value to actions of others. For if the assigner doesn’t subscribe to the belief, they react immediately by assigning the value of sin to the action.
