I'm now offering a 1-1 coaching program to help you go from struggling and feeling worried to being fully prepared and completely confident on exam day.

How does my coaching program work?

You’re going to learn how to speak about relevant C1 speaking exam topics, such as:

  • Friends, Family & Home, Childhood
  • The Environment & Climate Change
  • Cities & Transport
  • Lifestyle, Food, Health & Fitness
  • Travel & Tourism
  • Education, Work & Money
  • Feelings / motivation / habits
  • Science, (Communication) Technology & Media
  • Sport, Hobbies & Free-Time (Leisure)
  • Fashion, Arts & Culture

In the lessons you build up the speaking flexibility you need for the C1 exam. That means, you’ll learn how to come up with ideas quickly, and to talk about them in a clear and concise way. You’ll get invaluable, personalised feedback that will help you improve much faster than when you’re studying this part in a classroom with other students, or on your own.

My program is also available for B2 First students who want to get a C1 level score between 180-190 in their exam.

What about pricing?

The price is €99 for five (5) 1-1 online classes of 60 minutes and €179 EURO for ten (10) 1-1 online classes of 60 minutes.

You can decide if you want to join my program after the first lesson. If you, for whatever reason, don't want to continue, you don't have to pay for the first class.

Want in?

If you’re looking for a proven success path to a high mark for the C1 speaking exam, you can book your first lesson via my Calendly booking page:

https://calendly.com/getreadyforsuccess

All right, that’s all for now. Tomorrow I’ll publish a brand new podcast episode.

P.S. If you have any questions about my coaching program, you can email me at kristian@getreadyforsuccess.com.

Hey everyone, it’s Kristian here. I’ve got some important news for you: the weekly conversations in English with Alexandra are now available under a brand new podcast name: Conversations in English, by English Junkies.

In this podcast we have engaging conversations about interesting topics. We talk about everything, from relationships to leadership, travel to language learning. It’s a podcast for everyone who wants to build their vocabulary in a natural, fun and effective way.

Now, both of us hope that you will continue listening to our podcast. To do that, you can visit our brand new website englishjunkies.com. There you can easily find every single episode that we release on Tuesdays.

Also, you can find us on Spotify and Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts from. Just search for “English Junkies”

Okay, that’s it for the first part of this housekeeping message. Now, if you have one more minute, I’ll tell you what’s going to happen with the Cambridge Exam Coach podcast.

Firstly, I’m changing the name from Cambridge Exam Coach to Study with Cambridge Exam Coach. That should already give you a clue, right?

Secondly, in the past months I’ve bought a few books to level up my own English. As you know I’m a non-native speaker, and I’m on a lifelong journey to become better and better, every single day.

Now, I’ve decided to take you with me on my journey. And I’m going to do that on this podcast.

What does this mean? Well, I’m going to release episodes in which I show you my own learning process. The focus will be on vocabulary building, with specific attention to collocations. Every now and then there will be an episode around phrasal verbs. And I might even include episodes in which I focus on idioms.

Anyway, what you need to know for now, is that I’m going to publish episodes in which I tell you about the words and collocations I’m learning myself.

So, if that sounds interesting to you, and frankly speaking, I don’t see a reason why not, but it’s up to you of course, then subscribe to this podcast, Study with Cambridge Exam Coach, and you’ll hear from me at least once a week.

Finally, I won’t keep a website for this podcast. There won’t be any transcripts, email lists or social media. It’s just this podcast. If you have any questions, you can always reach out to me via email, which is kristian@cambridgeexamcoach.com.

Oh and one more thing. I’m still helping people all over the world to pass their Cambridge exams. My service is utterly simple: I charge €30,- for one hour 1-1 coaching and you can decide yourself how you want to use that hour. Maybe you need help with writing, or perhaps you might need some advice on how to gain more marks in your speaking exam.

Maybe you only need one hour, or maybe you need 40 hours. It doesn’t matter to me. I’m happy to help anyone for €30 per hour.

Okay that’s all for now. Take care everyone and I hope to speak to you soon!

Bye bye!

Welcome to Cambridge Exam Coach podcast, where we talk about all things learning and teaching English, and specifically about Cambridge exam preparation.

My name is Kristian and today I am going to talk with someone who, according to his LinkedIn profile, is a “Test Centre Manager at LanguageCert”.

He is a highly-passionate, Cambridge CELTA qualified English teacher with over 17 years of teaching experience. Currently leading a 15-strong team to bring English and students together in his hometown of Zvolen. Furthermore, he’s also prolific online, mainly on Instagram.

Let me welcome from the beautiful town of Zvolen in Slovakia, Vlado Dolinec!

Part 1: Vlado

  1. Hello Vlado. We know each other from Clubhouse, and now we finally meet on the podcast. Thank you for joining me on the show. Can you give us your back story and tell the listeners how you came to be where you are now?

  2. Your area of expertise is teaching B2/C1 grammar and exam prep. How did you get to doing this and why this specific area?

  3. You are a non-native speaker (teacher) of English. Which hurdles did you face when improving your English and how did you overcome them?

Part 2: Exams

  1. You’re a Test Centre Manager at LanguageCert. What can you tell us about LanguageCert exams?

  2. What are the main differences between Language Cert C1 and Cambridge C1 Advanced?

  3. What resources are available to prepare for the LanguageCert exam? What are your personal favourites?

  4. If you could only share one piece of advice for exam candidates, what would it be?

  5. What exam would you recommend to our listeners and why?

  6. Where can listeners find you online?

Welcome to Cambridge Exam Coach podcast, where we talk about all things learning and teaching English. My name is Kristian and today I am going to talk with someone who is a Freelance English Language teacher with more than 12 years of experience.

She has taught young children, teenagers as well as adults. In addition, she has worked as a translator and interpreter for a multinational company. However, this year she's decided to dedicate all her time to teaching English online in the form of one-to-one tailor-made classes.

Whats more, she has passed the Cambridge C2 exam earlier this year and currently she's taking the Celta course.

What drives her is the precious feeling she can make a difference in the lives of her students by helping them reach fluency in English.

You’ll understand why I’m honoured to have this inspiring teacher on the podcast.
