Episode 4 of the Canadian Brookfield Women's Network Leading the Way Podcast brings attention to personal safety for women.
Although a serious topic, there's laughter throughout as Host, Kat Rodgers, talks with Deb deWaal from Calgary-based Safe & Sound Safety Training and Consulting. Deb spent 10 years of her career as a Calgary police officer, many of which were spent as a uniformed officer on the street, with three years of undercover work in auto theft, stolen property, and vice. Since 1995, Deb develops and facilitates Mental Toughness, Personal Safety and Conflict Management training for Canadians. Deb is also a licensed Private Investigator in Alberta.
Joining in on the conversation, and imparting some great tips and even more fun, are our very own Julie Moore, Rebecca Rodgers, and Sarah Kellow. Listen to the end when they, and Deb, share their personal stories and fun facts!
