I have created this podcast to share more about my mind as part of my work in Mental Health Awareness. If the Podcasts make you sympathetic to my situation then you're hearing them all wrong ❎. You may come across some emotional episodes, when you do, let them push you a step towards conceptualizing Mental illness and not towards feeling sorry - because technically you shouldn't be sorry for things out of your control⛔. I may not be in a position to explain why I do some things. I have Bipolar Disorder, PTSD and ADHD mental illnesses 🧬💊all of which have played a huge role in my life (Crazy right? 🤪). I am also a Muslim🧕. I can only share as much as I am comfortable to at a time, and sometimes I may not understand it myself so some complexities may occur 🙃. This podcast is meant to shed light on Stigma, Mental Illness, Suicide and many other deep topics around my life from a lived experience point of view and not a professional angle. Sharing the podcast is allowed. Kindly engage with me if you may on ameerahbul@gmail.com. You could also join our channel on Telegram by searching for (All Minds are beautiful) or using the link https://t.me/allmindsarebeautiful to receive updates of more content and work we're engaged in on the ground. Cheers! 🥂
Mental Illness isn't a books tale, it's a reality for some of us, so we remedy that reality by creating Awareness in the right way.

You will get doubted simply because you are difficult to trust because you are 'sort of unreliable'
If your vehicles' windscreen is too dirty; and you also have poor vision, which do you blame when you hit a pothole? Your bad vision or the dirty windscreen?
Who said Mental Hospitals are mad?... 🤓
Will you too shun me? By Njonjo Mue
http://njonjomue.blogspot.com/2011/11/will-you-too-shun-me.html?m=1
When I choose to swim upstream
To question everything given me
When I prefer to hold onto nothing
In order to have all things
When I refuse to fit the mould
That they have created for me
And when they tell you that I’m mad
For not fitting into
Their particular brand of sanity
Will you, too, shun me?
When I choose to go to jail
So as to be truly free
When I prefer life in an asylum
To escape the madness outside
When I choose to give up my dreams
So that others can live theirs
And when I give in to pain
So that the healing can begin
Will you take their side?
Will you, too, shun me?
When I stand up to them
And refuse to follow blindly
And when, by so doing,
I challenge your own values
When I choose alone to start
What all have been too terrified
To imagine
Will you exchange sanity for comfort?
Will you, too, shun me?
Or will you have the presence of mind
To remember our time together
To recall the warmth, the laughter;
Will you pause and reflect
On who I was to you
And who you know me to be;
And will you then pray for courage
To stand with me,
Or will you, too, shun me?

You miss the point when you sympathize with me when I share my experiences... Try empathize instead...
Many times we think Mentally Ill people refuse help, but is that really the case? Listen and judge for yourself.
Started low key, these 19 minutes tell of the week that has been. No much hype as I had hoped but a promise is a debt.
