Sean Crane was wrongfully convicted of a crime he did not commit. He was given a life sentence at 23 years of age. After spending a portion of his life in prison, he was exonerated and is now helping people to live happier and better lives. Sean tells his story of how he found that the only prison is the one of the mind.
What’s his “1 inch punch?”
That was my question to a client who was hiring a new employee. “We all have lots of things we are responsible for, but what does he need to become the BEST at?
That’s his focus, and how we will measure success. It's what we will coach him to. That’s his “no-matter-what”. That’s his 1 inch punch. Then we pulled up the video on Youtube and watched something amazing. And it made me question myself-what’s MY 1 inch punch?
Do yourself a favor and search Youtube for Bruce Lee’s 1 inch punch. You will see a master at his craft focusing all of his energy and effort for a brief moment of amazing impact. He called it EXPLOSIVE FORCE MOMENT.
Question: if you focus FROM your identity, gifts, and talents TOWARDS a desired outcome with zero distraction, for a brief EXPLOSIVE FORCE MOMENT, what would happen?
Explosion. Creation from your own “Big Bang.” I am going there. How about you? Join me as I give extreme focus to immediate impact from my gifts towards my desired vision. I appreciate any interaction from other "masters in progression" like myself.

Is loss an object of reality, or merely a subjective perception?
If we think of life as an investment or a venture, and a venture as a type of adventure. Then that means we don't know how it will all turn out! Win or "lose". How we perceive the value of our journeys is entirely up to us.
I tried my hand at buying a few ancient Greek coins online recently, and it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to, I GOT SCAMMED! But, instead of seeing it with the eyes of a loser, I chose instead to view it as a lesson in counterfeit. I GAINED!
What happened when dreams only became nightmares for adults? When we were children we were applauded for our imagination but once we grew up there seemed to be no place for it. Teej Cummins thinks otherwise. For her it is only through imagination that she can be engaged with her work and she spends her time helping others to do so as well. A long time coach and mentor of mine, it was awesome having Teej "the midwife of dreams" on the podcast!

Guilt and shame are 2 of the biggest barriers to growth. We are infinitely powerful beings, but when we become convinced that we are "less than" and lacking, then bad things happen to reinforce that. We all go through this minefield for various reasons and some of us get stuck there. Maybe this episode can provide you with a way out. I am so thankful that Jonathan Mahan was willing to share his experience.
"Instead of trying to get people to like you; because you [already] know you're enough, you are powerful, you are wonderful, you are great. Now instead of trying to get people to like you, you're trying to find the ones you like." -Donnie Tuttle. Leave the popularity game!
"We can have an interference between who we were, competing against who we want to be. And out of those two, only one will live!" - Donnie Tuttle.
"Can we make change taste more like candy and less like medicine?" - Donnie Tuttle
Why does growth seem painful? Does it have to be that way?
"There is no question; if you look at people who are AGAINST something, it draws out of them the ability to do things that have never been done before." Says Donnie Tuttle in this podcast episode. But is being against or opposed to something a solid backbone to a true cause?
Is there a correlation between hard work and wealth? That is to say is there a connection between hard labor, sweat and toil, and success? Donnie Tuttle dives into this topic in the 2nd episode of the Do Happy Podcast.
Do Happy Podcast! Donnie Tuttle elaborates on his thoughts of how productivity and purpose go hand and hand.
