Greetings to everybody! I haven't been here for a long time. We had some concert tours with my girls' band where I play the bass-guitar. But now the holidays are over, and all the music work is over too, 'cos you know that musicians usually work when other people have their rest. Now I have time again to spend it with my family and my dear dog Sonya who you can see in the video. You can also notice that Sonya is indifferent to my singing: she is yawning while I am trying to put my soul into the song. How very rude it is!
The song belongs to evergreen jazz melodies and it was sung by many famous jazz singers. It's titled ''All of Me''.

**Hello everybody! Today I decided to sing a capella. This song is one of the best for a capella. Actually it was written for a capella singing and the woman who sang it was very famous in 1970-s. Her name is Janis Joplin.
She was considered to be the best white singer of blues at her time and she is one of the greatest vocalists in the world of rock-music. She was a rebel but very shy and vulnerable at the same time. Her songs and her character are very close to me that is why today i decided to tell you about her and to sing one of her most famous songs which is titled Mercedez Benz.
*This song is abot the rejection of consumerism. We buy too many things which in fact we don't need. That's the idea. Enjoy her music in my cover version. Hope you will like it.

I wrote this song, we recorded it at my friend-guitarist's apartment and decided to make a video in the music studio. It was much fun. We invited our friend who is a photographer and one more friend who is a cameraman.
The funniest moment was with the old tape-recorder which was standing in the studio. It was very very old. My father had had such a tape-recorder when I was a small girl. I used to listen to some Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin music on it. And when I had a bad mark at school my father took off something from inside the tape-recorder and I stayed without music for the whole day. That was my punishment. Because I loved music and only music.
And suddenly I saw the same tape-recorder in the studio! Amazing.
We didn't know what to shoot in the video and we were ..just having some improvisation.And surely that was better than a plot.
Now you can see the result. I like it because that was a good company and I hope that is a good song.

As a singer, I was lucky enough to work under a music contract in Vietnam. My colleague-a violin player and I- performed pop songs in one of the hotels in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam.
One day, on a day off, we went to the Temple of Literature. This is one of the ctions of Hanoi, where the first Vietnamese university used to be located.Just at that moment, a concert of Vietnamese folk music was taking place there.
The performance was amazing. The appearance of the national Vietnamese instruments is quite unusual, and even more unusual is their sound. You can hear a part of this concert on this video.
Vietnamese are very fond of singing. When the girls-musicians were playing one of the tunes, our guide suddenly started singing along, it was funny.
An unusual wooden instrument played by a female soloist is called Trung. It consists of bamboo tubes of different sizes.The tubes emit sounds of different height. The short tubes have high sounds, and the long ones have low ones. This musical instrument is old.
Previously, peasants gathered after a working day and listened to the sounds of this instrument on vacation. Of course, with years, the instrument has changed: more tubes have been added, and now there are 48 of them. Due to this, the sound of the instrument has become richer.
They play trung with a special stick. Some musicians improve this stick and manage to extract two sounds at the same time.

Few musicians really achieve fame. Many people remain in the shadow all their lives, although they are great musicians and artists. Why is this happening?
The path to fame is not an easy thing. You need to have not only artistry and professionalism, but sometimes a whole set of qualities. The ability to present yourself and sell yourself is very important. The entrepreneur skill is also very useful.
I know a few musicians from my city who don't have very much talent, but they have the brains of an entrepreneur. These people have left for the capital of the country and they are constantly shown on TV screens. And there are very talented musicians, but they lack the energy and strength to promote their music and their performing talent. Unfortunately, this is very common.
This is somehow unfair, but on the other hand, there is no justice in the world, there is only the worldview of an individual, his life attitudes, his goals and aspirations.
On this video you can see musicians from my hometown, ordinary, almost unknown to anyone except a narrow circle of listeners. Guitar teacher Vladimir Mityukov and one of his students. They play masterfully, soulfully, very professionally. I performed with them at several concerts. I made this video at one of our joint concerts on a ship that went across the Volga River for tourists.
It's great, isn't it? But that's fate..Only a few make their way through the thorns to the stars..

Greetings to everybody! I am a Russian singer and a bass-guitar player.
This video is made in one of the Russian restaurants where we once were asked to play some French songs in a sweet jazz manner. The fact is, we didn't prepare this programme, and this is not a constant band.
The three musicians who are playing here have been playing jazz music in the restaurants for all their life and it is not a problem for them to play any famous song existing in the world 'cos they just hear the tune, the harmony and know the melody.
It often happens so with jazz musicians that they don't rehearse, they play a bit of improvisation. I don't say that it's good that they don't have constant rehearsals, I just speak about the fact.
Our city is quite big, the population is about 1 million people but the situation is not very good with jazz. Not many musicians.
This restaurant is the only jazz club in the city. Live concerts are held every week.
Different groups play not only jazz but also some lounge and some light rock.
Now of course the situation with concerts is very difficult. Actually everything is closed and musicians are without work at all.
Many of them change jobs.
Hope one day it will change for better. But will it?

Hello everybody! Hats are my best friends. They 've travelled with me around the world much: red, white, brown, pink,- all rainbow colours. And I may say that it's not very convenient to carry them to planes:) 'cos they like too much space. I even thought to buy each of them a separate seat. But that's too expensive to pay for so many seats. So, their way of travelling wasn't very comfortable, indeed, and they complained.
But still they are a part of image.
Besides, some songs are better performed in hats. Like this one for example. That's a very old song which was written by Irving Berlin in 1927. The song is about clothes. Nice and stylish. I guess all people like it.
So, a black elegant hat this time and a good old song to fit..

Hi everybody! Today I am singing together with my dog Sonya. Sonya is very young and always happy. As happy as the song which I am going to sing today.
