Hello! Angela here - the host of the Social Responsibility at Work podcast.

I know it’s been a while, and you’re probably wondering where we’ve been!

The Social Responsibility at Work podcast has been integral to our growth (and my growth) over the last 3 years. So it might be surprising to hear: we've made the decision to retire it.

This decision was not made lightly, and it comes with mixed emotions as we reflect on the insightful and impactful conversations our show has produced.

It’s amazing to think back at what one podcast inspired during the COVID Pandemic led to:

+100 episodes about workplace culture with a variety of guests, thought leaders, and experts that made us realize this discipline needs wider representation and more diversity of thought

The start to a broader exploration about the role of employers and employees in creating a world we want to live in, and a blurring of the lines between culture at work and culture in the world at large

A hard conversation, practice in accountability and title pivot

The beginnings of a rebrand, which has continued to show us the company we want to become, the work we want to be doing, and the experiences we want to create

The realization that our role in changing the way we all work, is to actually extend far beyond the “walls” of the workplace

The good news: all episodes will remain an active library of valuable content for you to consume at any time — you’ll be able to access the Social Responsibility at Work podcast through our website, on Apple, Spotify, and anywhere podcasts are streamed, indefinitely. We just won’t be recording any new episodes.

Our team is still envisioning exactly what our audio content will look like moving forward, but one thing we know for sure is that it’ll emerge from the Culture Impact Lab — our in-person experience taking place in Chicago, IL May 15-16, 2024.

The only thing better than listening in on the conversations happening at this experience through recorded audio?

Being there in person: join the waitlist now, and be a part of this conversation with us.

In this thought-provoking and empowering podcast episode we chat with Dan Pontefract about inspiring leaders to take a fresh look at a new coalescence between work and life.

In Dan's upcoming book, Work-Life Bloom: How to Nurture a Team That Flourishes, he takes a dive into integrating professional and personal lives. Just as a flower needs the right mix of sunlight, water, and nutrients to grow and thrive, team members need the right mix of work-life factors to create a fulfilling and harmonious existence. Through primary global research, interviews, and personal experience, Pontefract delves into the current state of work and life, offering practical solutions for leaders and organizations to create environments where teams can flourish.

There really is no such thing as work-life balance: our rigid attempts to achieve it don’t reflect current realities and are, in fact leading us to further burnout, stress, and unhappiness. Instead, he encourages a more holistic approach, promoting the idea of “blooming” in both work and life. Pontefract stresses that for people to succeed, they must reach fulfillment through the integration of work and the personal aspects of life. After all, people bring their work into their lives and their lives into their work; an improved integration is necessary.

Thanks Dan for your insights and for sharing with us your ground-breaking work.

I’m so excited to share this in depth discussion with you. Mita Mallick shares insights from her new book, Reimagine Inclusion, where she debunks 13 myths that hold us back from transforming our workplaces. She delivers powerful storytelling combined with practical and hands-on ways for us to be more inclusive leaders.

In this episode she demonstrates that when we show up as more inclusive leaders, we have the power to change our organizations, ultimately creating a ripple effect across our ecosystem. She discusses how to understand, confront, and mitigate our own biases as we commit to do the work that starts with leaders.

You’ll also discover how to coach future leaders, how to be intentional about how you lead in your organization―both in public and behind closed doors―and how you can become an active participant in building your workplace’s culture.

Throughout the episode we discuss how leaders can:

  • Understand the individual's journey in your organization
  • Interrupt bias at every key decision point
  • Transform your organization’s systems, processes, and policies to improve inclusivity at every level.

“I believe diversity of thought doesn’t happen without diversity of representation. When you have all those points of views, life experiences, and cultural backgrounds coming together around a table. Colliding, clashing, and collaborating- that’s when magic happens. That’s when we come up with that one break through innovative idea, campaign, innovation- to authentically and purposefully serve customers and communities.”

Mita is currently the head of inclusion, equity and impact at Carta and is a top LinkedIn voice of 2020. Don’t hesitate to pick up her book today.

Being vulnerable at work can help create a more authentic, empathetic, and supportive workplace culture, which can lead to improved productivity, engagement, and overall well-being.

Vulnerability can help create a safe space for open communication. When you share your thoughts, feelings, and concerns, you can facilitate more honest and productive conversations with your colleagues.

My guest today shares personal experiences being vulnerable at work and how he works with executives to be more vulnerable as a competitive advantage in today’s ever-changing market. Nick Jonsson is the Managing Director of EGN who provides a safe haven for members to share their work-related challenges, receive support, and learn from each other.

He is a bestselling author, keynote speaker, podcast host, and award-winning entrepreneur who shares his personal highs and lows in the business world. Throughout his journey, he has learned the power of connection and support.

When you allow yourself to be vulnerable, you're showing your authentic self, and that can help build trust with your colleagues. It can also encourage them to open up and share their own vulnerabilities, further strengthening trust and relationships…which is good for business.

My guest today is Geoffrey M. Roche, Senior Vice President at Core Education, public figure, strategist, connector and collaborator, who has leveraged his skills to develop and train healthcare professionals.

“We need to create a healthcare system that is equitable. We need to create the right providers and train them to meet the needs of different populations. To think that we are not there yet, in 2023, as a healthcare professional, is quite frustrating. Lives are literally at stake.”

According to Geoffrey, our healthcare system has some systemic, long-known issues that have significantly impacted various individuals and communities, not just in the United States, but across the world. He gives an example that the rate of maternal fatalities is significantly higher for African American women and even celebrities like Serena Williams have had to fight for their right to equitable healthcare.

We also discussed the aim of empathetic leadership, which is to focus on others first by building meaningful relationships and human-centered connections, always daring to think and go big while fostering prosperous environments for change, and facilitating ecosystem partnerships to drive new solutions and results.

If we lead with our hearts we can truly create a different model for the future of healthcare.

“Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.” –Ralph Waldo Emerson

This is a quote I adore and the vibe I get when speaking with Lori on this week’s podcast episode. Lori Michele Leavitt is “The Pivot Catalyst” who has coached, consulted, and trained hundreds of leaders around the world to achieve their objectives and generate extraordinary momentum.

She speaks globally on catalyzing momentum, leading, pivoting, and workplace culture change. She also leads the 10x!® business and leadership private peer advisory groups. She is also founder and president of Abrige Corp., which offers the Aligned Momentum (A.M.)® program and software to help managers lead. A.M. transforms performance management into performance momentum.

In this episode we discuss how high performers can transform into the creative leaders needed, unlocking new strategies for growth, and discovering how, when, and why a company should pivot.

The world of work is constantly changing around us and it’s important to take risks and pivot when the “old ways” are no longer working. Lori has made many pivots in her career and is not afraid to drop practices that no longer serve her. It is a great lesson for all of us to constantly be moving forward.

Thanks, as always, for tuning in. We’ll see you on next week’s episode!

Some call them “soft skills.” I call them “hard AF skills,” because they transcend all roles and should be the center of all our talent development efforts. That’s why I got excited to hear my guest today call them “core skills,” which brings so much light to the importance of our work.

Johnny Campbell is Co-Founder and CEO of SocialTalent, the world’s most popular e-learning platform dedicated to hiring and talent management. Their industry-leading content enables organizations to find and hire top talent, engage and retain their teams, and build diverse, inclusive workplaces.

In this episode we discuss talent development across the three big HR verticals: hiring, onboarding, and development. Leaders have a transformative role at each stage of the employee lifecycle and Johnny lays out some practical steps to take to improve career mobility, development, and upskilling.

“Our goal is simple – we enable companies and teams with the skills and training to hire, onboard, engage, develop and retain great talent. With expert-led training content for every stage of the employee lifecycle, we empower you to attract, find and hire top talent and create engaging, inclusive workplaces where your teams can thrive.”

Emmanuel is a social entrepreneur from Kampala, Uganda with a passion for upskilling the next generation of talent in preparation for jobs and entrepreneurial opportunities in Africa. In this episode we dive deep into his story and the personal struggles he endured to make it out of the slums in Uganda and eventually lead era92, a youth creative agency training and employing Uganda's young adults in design, art, and technology.

“I believe that talent is equally distributed but the opportunity is not. I am an opportunity creator, committed to releasing the brilliance of millions of unemployed young people in Africa”

Achieving systemic change for low opportunity youth may seem like a gigantic mountain to climb, but I’m so grateful for the efforts of social entrepreneurs like Emmanuel who are on the front lines working to bring about these changes in today’s youth and beyond.

The topic of psychological safety in the workplace cannot be emphasized enough. If we fail as businesses to create psychologically safe environments, all of our other design efforts will fall short. The strength of a good leader can be measured by their ability to create a safe space for employees. That’s why we are tapping into the neuroscience behind workplace psychology on today’s episode.

Our guest is Jordan Zezza, a Senior Manager and R&D Data Science Portfolio Management at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson. Jordan joined the healthcare industry after he discovered a deep passion to support his family and friends in leading a happy and healthy life.

If we are to achieve our ideals of an inclusive and productive workplace, we must build a foundation of psychological safety for all employees. This is the chief cornerstone of all healthy corporate cultures.

At Call For Culture, we offer a fresh take on workplace culture consulting. If you’ve ever heard me speak, you know our mission is to foster workplace culture partnerships and communities built on meaningful connection, sustainable change, and regenerative outcomes.

Sustainable and regenerative. These are also terms our guest uses several times in this episode to show how the economy needs to evolve to better serve the people it was designed for. Don Golden is Founder at Just Capital Quotient LLC and Chief Impact Officer at Threefold Private Equity, a firm that invests in businesses that are seeking to make a difference in the world by developing a regenerative economic model.

In this episode we cover how partnerships will become more prevalent than ever before, giving more than we take, and leaving a legacy that is rooted in human centered design.

At the end of the day, business owners have a multidimensional platform to achieve a specific purpose. It’s important to get extremely clear on that purpose, regularly communicate it to employees, and constantly reconnect to the higher function of why the business exists.

The impact of strong leadership and culture on an organization’s success has already been well documented, and yet some companies are still struggling to implement even the basic culture initiatives for employees. According to the Surgeon General’s workplace wellbeing report, 76% of U.S. workers reported at least one symptom of a mental health condition, 84% of respondents said their workplace conditions had contributed to at least one mental health challenge, and 81% of workers reported that they will be looking for workplaces that support mental health in the future.

This tells us that workplaces are contributing negatively to mental health, but they don’t have to. On the show to discuss with us today is my good friend, Raymond Achille. “Recovery Ray” is a Wellness Consultant, Health Equity Advocate, Speaker, and Podcast Host who owns a wellness and health equity firm called Balance Period.

Balance Period is focused on creating a world where generational wellness is accessible to everyone. They strive to create an environment where family systems and businesses pass down healthy habits from one generation to the next.

“When we think about our black and brown communities in the states and look at the data around their longevity and the different ailments they die from (diabetes, heart disease, hypertension), it is disproportionate to their white counterparts in this country. A lot of what contributes to these ailments is aligned with the habits we practice and the environments we are forced into with systematic racism etc…there is a lot of inequality.”

This is why one of my foundational tenets is to facilitate sustainable behavior change in organizations so we can take care of the humans that entrust us with 8 hours of their day.

Thanks Ray, for your wonderful insights.

As we gear up to celebrate Black History Month, it’s essential to reflect on how far our DEI efforts have come in the workplace, and while it’s true that we’ve made some great progress that deserves to be celebrated, we still have a long way to go.

That is why we are kick starting the month of February with a powerful and influential figure who has dedicated his life to the movement. Reggie Butler is a highly recognized corporate consultant and public speaker with over 28 years experience in human capital performance management within the private and corporate sectors. As an educator, trainer and inclusion champion he has become a highly sought after speaker through his high energy and impactful delivery style.

“If leaders take, not just responsibility, but accountability, for their DEI efforts, we will see organizations make a difference on a deep, systemic level.”

The culture of an organization happens simultaneously from the top down and the bottom up. There is often a clear gap between what leaders are saying about the organization and the lived experiences of employees. We need to come down out of the clouds and see culture for what it really is if we are hoping to make lasting change.

Today we’re going to be talking about how systems change happens and how it’s actually just a culmination of micro progressions and behavioral shifts over time.

Dr. Jacqueline Kerr is a behavior change scientist.TEDx and keynote speaker, and podcast host. Our work intersects when organizations are looking for culture change and we teased out some important tenets when it comes to doing this effectively.

Jacqueline shares some of her journey with us, “I am on a mission to prevent burnout in other working moms and to change the narrative that burnout is an individual problem. It is a systemic problem that needs strategic multi level solutions. I host the podcast Overcoming Working Mom Burnout & I write and speak regularly about burnout and behavior change.”

As scary as systems change may seem, it’s by identifying and taking that first step that leads to healthier and more productive organizations. Thanks for joining us on the show today!

I have always been fascinated by the human psyche, especially at work. Have you ever noticed that people might behave differently in the workplace than they do in other environments? It’s called “code switching” and it’s something that two I/O Psych enthusiasts like Erica and I love to explore.

Erica is a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in the field for over 10 years. Her mantra is to remove obstacles and simplify processes to build scalable people practices that center the human experience and provide equitable opportunities for everyone to thrive.

In this episode we go deep on diversity, inclusion, and belonging, and how it is more than just issues to solve through the DEI efforts of an HR department. It is a deep systemic problem that requires lasting change in the way we treat others at work.

You’ll see our passions come alive in this episode as two Chicago natives are working towards a better work environment for the under-represented. It’s these and the many other conversations we have on this podcast that keep me fired up for the work that we are doing. Let’s keep driving for more diverse and inclusive workforces.

Web3. The Metaverse. Decentralization. You might have heard these terms thrown around by big tech companies like Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook or your 17 year old “crypto bro” nephew, but what does this new tech mean for the future of work? Is it a viable solution for some of the HR problems we are grappling with today? With me to discuss the challenges and opportunities that these technologies present is my good friend Josh Drean.

Josh is a web3 advisor at the Harvard Innovation Labs and Co-founder of DreanMedia, a web3 media agency. Josh is an HR Transformation and Metaverse expert who marries web3 technologies with workplace strategies. He hosts webinars in both the HR tech and web3 space and speaks internationally to bring market insights to digital-first leaders.

In this episode we discuss how emerging AI could potentially take over key HR functions, how “going digital” can lead work to be more human, ironically, and the privacy and security risks to be aware of should these technologies persist.

Regardless of emerging web3 tech and the metaverse, we are tasked with designing employee experiences that offer rich human interactions and purpose-driven work that brings out the best in our people. If these technologies help us get there, then let’s keep learning and growing together.

Today we’re talking about a crucial topic and experience that is often overlooked in the workplace and within the context of broader well-being and mental health conversations - perinatal mental health.

My guest today is a special one. Kendra Vargas, LCPC, PMH-C, is owner and founder of Authentically You Psychotherapy, PLLC. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional in the state of Illinois. Kendra is also a childhood friend of mine (our dads were besties), and the fact that we both have an opportunity to bring our work and experience together for this conversation gives me so much joy!

Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders are among the most common complications that can occur before conception, during pregnancy, or in the first 12 months after delivery (often also called postpartum depression).

We talk more about health disparities when it comes to general healthcare and underserved communities, what perinatal care is, and how it connects to the larger picture of the mental health crisis at work. We discuss where employers and leaders are missing the mark (due to lack of knowledge or acknowledgement) and how they can create an inclusive and flexible environment where parents and those going through family planning have the appropriate resources and support they need.

Well that’s a wrap! It’s been an amazing year working with some of the most talented HR, DEI, and Wellbeing professionals on the planet.

We conclude 2022 with my favorite annual tradition by bringing in two top minds from Qualtrics to discuss employment trends for 2023. I'm so excited to welcome Haley Kuschman and Frank Laterza to the show.

We go deep on the research Qualtrics has produced in its Employee Experience Trends report to help you kick start the new year with vigor and employee-centric focus.

Trends we cover:

  • Employee Engagement
  • Intent to stay
  • Inclusion & belonging
  • Experience vs. Expectations
  • Reclaiming boundaries
  • Managing burnout
  • Connected to purpose

As we transition to a new year, it’s more important to listen and understand than to have the perfect plan. If you don’t know where to start, ask for feedback on where you should start, communicate your results, and, as always, be caring and transparent. This is an iterative process and I am so excited to be on this journey with you.

Have a great end to your year and we’ll look forward to seeing you again in 2023!

I couldn’t be more excited for this special episode with Rosanna Durruthy, Vice President of Global Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging at LinkedIn.

Rosanna gives us an inside look at her journey, which started as a child of a Cuban dad and Puerto Rican mom who came to America in search of greater opportunity, to now running one of the biggest DEI departments in the world.

“How are we forming relationships that not only allow us to feel at ease in the environment, but also give us access to understanding our careers? The work of LinkedIn is to acknowledge that professional development is ongoing, we are always learning, and part of that learning is access to information, development of skills, connection to a community, so that we can all be more socially responsible.”

Companies exist to better employee experience, not just customer experience because we believe that human-centered workplaces create stronger communities and societies. When you adopt the social responsibility of enabling employees to go home happy and create impact in their communities, better outcomes are created — at every level.

If we are all imbued with the ability to see differences, not as a threat, but as a possibility, that allows younger generations more opportunities. Diverse teams win.

I grew up in a multiracial home in the diverse neighborhood of Roger’s Park, Chicago. It wasn’t until I entered corporate America and grad school that I realized that I was different. I realized I was disadvantaged because I was putting in a lot of energy trying to be someone I am not. We need to do better for the next generation, to enable them to be their authentic and real selves at work.

That’s why I am so eager to chat with my guest today, André Darmanin. André is an inclusive leader, people manager and systems thinker with two decades of diverse international experience in matrixed environments. He is a disruptor and relationship builder focused on equitable and strategic organizational solutions.

André makes the argument, “we need systemic, urban solutions to provide more opportunities to our employees and the people we lead.” Change can happen on several levels at an organization and André is thinking big.

The truth is, building a culture around work should not be a thing, we should be building a culture around culture. Meeting our people where they are and giving them the opportunity to shine, regardless or race, age, or sexual orientation.

It seems like we are faced with current and global events that impact us on a weekly basis, which can shake our confidence in our systems. Some employees trust their employer more than they trust their government, so we have an important role to capture those communications. Fear. It holds us back. It makes us doubt ourselves. It keeps us from advancing in our careers. So how can we overcome such an omnipresent obstacle that stands in the way of our success? Joining me today is none other than Dr. Benjamin Ritter to help us navigate this topic.

Dr. Benjamin Ritter is the founder of Live for Yourself Consulting, a leadership coach and podcaster who’s passionate about guiding leaders to be the leader of their own career and create a career they love.

“Leadership isn’t easy. It can be challenging and scary, but you have it within you to overcome your fears and accomplish great things for the people and organization you lead”

I continue to drive this home in EVERY conversation I have, leaders are first and foremost responsible for creating psychological safety and trust among the people they lead. If you are creating fear, you are sowing distrust. If you are creating unity, you are sowing trust.

We must understand how important it is to make this a priority so workers can overcome their fears and achieve what they are capable of.

Thanks again for another great conversation, Ben, we’ll see you all next week!

“There’s got to be more than this.”

That’s the big question employees are starting to ask themselves, as, in recent years, their employers have shown their true colors behind all this “purpose” talk. Employees have come to value life outside of the office more and have awoken from their stupor that chasing a career isn’t all that it’s made up to seem. That’s why instilling and living a true purpose at work is the best way to bring meaning to the individuals doing the work.

Brandon Peele is Co-Founder of Unity Lab, which empowers organizations to solve their retention, engagement, inclusion and mental health challenges. They create cultures of purpose, empathy, and trust and empower each employee to feel a sense of belonging no matter where they work.

"If you've worked alone long enough, and seek connection and greater impact through collaboration, I invite you into a vibrant community of purpose professionals like you.”

Financial literacy is not a part of the core curriculum in education. I had to teach myself. Many of you had to do the same. These are conversations we need to have more often, especially among Black and brown communities. When it comes to underrepresented groups, building generational wealth is extremely difficult due to lack of resources, lack of education, and centuries of skewed wealth distribution that makes it nearly impossible to get ahead.

My guest today is a Chicago native and Founder of @pablowealthtalks, Pablo Torres sees the opportunity to educate newer generations and break down systemic poverty so all can be compensated fairly for the value they add to society. What can organizations do to help? Start by recognizing this as a problem, align yourself with financial values that allow employees to get educated and build financial literacy, a skill we often take for granted, and work towards a brighter future for all communities, regardless of race, sex, or generation.  We are very grateful for Pablo’s time and attention to this important topic.

I’m willing to bet you’ve had more bosses that you’ve struggled with than bosses you were actually excited to work for. Honestly…it’s not their fault. We’ve designed work systems that promote top performers and not the employee with the top leadership skills. It’s time for a change and I am so excited to discuss this with today's podcast guest.

Matthew Sandel’s goal is to wipe out bad leadership. He leverages neuroscience to create better leaders who promote positive culture to change the workplace. I’ve had the privilege of working with his firm, DX Learning, for a while now and I can say that it is the best leadership development training program that I’ve seen. It’s rich, research-driven and empirical.

DX Learning creates learning experiences that lead to new and compelling acts of leadership. This in turn drives visible and immediate change within the organization. DX experiences are quickly and easily adapted to your own company’s values and leadership framework. The focus is not on sharing ever more models and new knowledge, but on embedding vital skills that will motivate people at every level in the business, to achieve more.

All in all, connecting our hearts, hands, and minds will allow us to develop better leaders, strengthen work cultures, and drive forward a regenerative and sustainable leadership model that brings out the best in our people.

If you’ve seen the news lately, it’s easy to get overwhelmed with all of the problems we are currently grappling with. Economic downturns, racial injustice, wars on distant shores, natural disasters that ravage the lives of the innocent.

In times like these, I like to turn to my “why,” or the purpose that is driving my work forward. I can be encouraged to know that, at least in my own little corner of the world, I am doing some good to improve people’s lives at work.

That’s why I’ve enjoyed my conversation with today’s guest, Eric Ressler, who has a keen eye for macro changes and helps individuals take action in micro ways that have a big impact.

Eric is Founder of Cosmic, a Social Impact Creative Agency that empowers social impact in organizations to catalyze real world change by helping them nail their impact story, build brand awareness, and inspire action.

When we focus on what drives us, we can do great things, no matter the challenges. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did!

When you think about what makes us great as humans is that we have the capacity for deep emotional connection. The biggest travesty, however, is when we, as individuals, buy into the concept that our self-worth should be tied to the work that we produce. Aiko and I agree that it is wrong and we are here to address it.

Aiko Bethea, Esq., PCC, is Founder of RARE Consulting and Coaching LLC who specializes in providing leadership coaching and workshops for underrepresented individuals. She has been working with leaders for decades who have a desire to create equitable and inclusive teams, want to develop an awareness of their blindspots, and recognize behaviors and circumstances that create barriers for underrepresented individuals.

“The amount of workplace suicide has gone up 39% since the year 2000. Everything that we talk about in terms of workplace psychology and the workplace being a place where people can thrive is because we are wired to show up with our full selves in the workplace, not just a piece of us.”

Your self-worth is not tied to the work you do. It is reflected in the life you choose to lead.

At their core, DEI professionals are change experts. They own the challenge of shaking the foundation of traditional corporate cultures to help leaders confront subconscious bias.

I usually talk to white male leaders who recognize that they are entitled and privileged, they will say “I’m the last person you should be talking to about DEI,” but that’s not true! For what they lack in lived experiences, can be made up by actively deciding to use that privilege to do better. We need everyone for diversity to flourish.

That’s just what Valerie sets out to do. Valerie Williams is Founder and Managing Partner at Converge Firm, a diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) advisory that helps organizations design and implement DEI strategies and have bold conversations. Converge aims to address equity issues at scale and drive systemic change within the workplace.

In this episode, we cover:

  • Keeping an eye on the 30,000 level view
  • Always coming back to your WHY
  • Staying strategic as possible
  • Leveraging the ability to improvise

We need to meet people where they are and not where we think they should be. DEI is a function where people can bring so many perspectives and value to work. Let's unleash this potential by giving them a voice.

How do you measure wellbeing at work? Is it the number of company retreats each year? The number of positive comments among coworkers? Is it how well employees can memorize the company values?

Being someone who works daily in the culture space, a lot of people reach out to me with “symptoms,” but there is a huge gap between the responsibility of direct leaders and the implementation of company culture. We need to look at our day to day behaviors and make sure they match the values that we proclaim to hold at the organization. Wellbeing is the byproduct of a leaders’ behaviors at work.

My guest today is Matthew Jackson, a subject matter expert in the global HR & benefits SaaS space. Matt is passionate about mental health in the workplace with a proven success record at building high performing teams. Matthew believes in better, empathetic leaders, who are bringing the wellness epidemic to the forefront of productivity management and creating healthy programs for companies to take care of their people.

Wellness programs are not an add-on. They are about fixing fundamental business practices to include human experience at work.

Underrepresented leaders have a vast array of talents and skills that they bring to the table, but traditional leadership rhetoric has kept these critical contributions to a minimum.

This is why today’s guest launched Untapped Leaders to create a space for those contributions to be named, validated, and amplified.

Jenny Vazquez-Newsum, Ed.D. is a leadership facilitator and writer with a long-time interest in leadership stemming all the way back to being a 5th grade elementary school elected official. As a biracial Black/Latinx woman, her leadership journey has been bumpy, invigorating. challenging, and a life's work.

Lindsey Caplan is a screenwriter turned organizational psychologist who helps HR and business leaders script their change efforts for the effect they want…

…so you better believe we leaned right into the screenwriting narrative to provide a framework for people-first leaders who want to design better employee experiences.

Her work is focused on “the gathering effect,” which is a communication skill to match the message with the moment to create an effect. We often rely on gatherings (virtual and in-person) to spark movement for some of the most important and high-stakes moments in an employee’s journey when it’s most crucial to make change stick.

“Oftentimes, the gatherings that I see are very ‘push’ and one size fits all. They are very passive and made for anyone, and what I help people do is make them more ‘pull’ and personalized. I make them specifically about the people in the room."

It’s no secret that the long-term effect of effective communication is productivity, but it’s the implementation that takes practice and effort and we are grateful for Lindsey’s work to help organizations achieve the gathering effect.

Being a leader is a tough job…and often comes with little support or training.

Managers play essential roles in designing and instigating a better employee experience because they are on the front line interacting with employees daily. If we want our EXD initiatives to break through, we must create better support for our front line managers.

That’s why I love this conversation with Paul, my guest on today’s podcast all the way from Canada, who has spent decades focusing on transformation and systems thinking. When asked about how to transform the leadership function, he digs right in with what has worked in the past and what the future of leadership training holds.

We also jump into a discussion about government and how (when it is functioning properly) it is supposed to help remove bigger barriers so employees can get their work done.

I appreciated his take on the often false perception of “loud leaders” getting work done forcibly vs. the quiet power of thoughtful, intentional leaders. Being a performative introvert, I can relate fully!

Be sure to connect with Paul on his timely insights.

I’m so honored to have Heather Hansen on the podcast today all the way from Singapore, we joked that she has end of day hair and I have early morning hair 💇‍♀️

In this episode we discuss how the UNMUTED leader can show up, speak up, and inspire action. Heather boldly states, “when we are conscious, confident, and connected we can truly be unmuted and build a psychologically safe environment to bring out the best in our people. This will allow us to communicate more successfully in a distributed, global workforce.”

Heather focuses on fostering unmuted communication cultures where every voice is heard, resulting in greater inclusion, innovation and efficiency across remote and global teams. She is an outspoken advocate for global voices and her views on global communication have been featured in NPR, ABC, Quartz, and multiple print and radio outlets.

Having just delivered a keynote address at the WELCOA Summit in Chicago, I found these themes to resonate with the current challenges leaders are facing to bolster a healthy and productive workforce.

Monique spent the first three decades of her life being a gardener of plants 🪴 and now she’s a gardener of people 👩

In this episode we entertain ourselves by comparing horticulture to business culture and how leaders can better tend their “work garden.”

Referring to regenerative business practices, Monique says, “When you do regenerative work, you leverage all the resources available to you to create a clear process and journey for employees to be the true purveyors of culture”

Monique Allen is a Regenerative Business Coach & Founder of The Garden Continuum, Inc. We dive deep into concepts like non-confrontational confrontation, where managers can approach another human being without putting them on the defensive in order to de-stigmatize separation.

Just like a garden, a business relationship with employees should be symbiotic, full or rich interactions and partnerships for growth 🌱

On this podcast we often amplify underrepresented voices, but today we’re opening up the conversations to men specifically and how they can avoid burnout by embracing expansive intimacy.

My guest is Jim Young, a burnout coach for men, both individually and in groups, to help them create sustainability in their personal lives and their businesses.“It’s the story I know the best and it’s a huge part of the solution.”

Jim uses a blend of deep personal & professional experiences, along with coaching skills rooted in neuroscience, psychology, emotional intelligence, creativity, play, and good old honesty to help men build the skills that are required to achieve lasting balance in their lives.

We discuss “Expansive Intimacy,” which is the title of his upcoming book on how to work through social comparison shame and cutting through to the root of burnout.

I was also impressed with his level of emotional intelligence when he paused mid-podcast to apologize when he perceived to have interrupted me. I loved watching him act on his words in realtime.

Hello Podcast Guests & Future Guests!

When we first decided to launch the Humanly Possible: Future of Work Conversations podcast, it was right in the middle of a pandemic (October 2020), and I had a burning need to use my platform, my knowledge, and my network to have transformative discussions around the world of work. The world of work continues to change, and the podcast has reached more than 50 countries with more than 50 inspiring guests (You all inspire me every single day). And we now have a following of listeners who are in positions to address and inspire transformative conversations around how work and business can be a catalyst for social impact.

We’ve covered topics around wellness, justice, anti-racism, psychological safety, equity, inclusion leadership, and sustainable culture building, and it’s become clear to me that we’re no longer talking about the future of work. The future of work is here, and we must shift the conversation to action and accountability.

So, I have some news – we’ve decided to shift the focus and name of the podcast. Here’s why:

This shift has been on my mind for a while. It’s been happening slowly and represents how I view my platform and impact on this work. I believe the workplace needs to be talked about as a system that creates a ripple effect into entire lives, generations, and communities. We envision a world in which companies exist to better employee experience, not just customer experience because we believe that human-centered workplaces create stronger communities and societies. A new and refined premise of this podcast is that when you adopt the social responsibility of creating employees that go home happy and create impact in their communities, better outcomes are created — at every level.

It all comes down to this. The name of the podcast: "Humanly Possible – Future of Work Conversations Podcast" will be changing to "Social Responsibility at Work", because we hold the belief that the Best Workplaces of today and tomorrow will fundamentally change hearts and minds about what work means, challenge-tired leadership paradigms, and view their platforms as responsible, conscious, and sustainable vehicles to create social impact. AT WORK in this context means, of course, that we will talk about social responsibility in the world of work but also signifies the action, the accountability and the solutions that we’ll provide that listeners can actively put TO WORK within their sphere of influence.

So, what can you expect moving forward? The podcast is known to be real, conversational, and actionable. For those of you who have been on my podcast, you know that I don’t prep guests in any formal way before our conversation and I describe the experience as similar to conversations over coffee. In my experience, this has been an intentional differentiation that makes these discussions so much more human and relatable. We’ll be focused more narrowly on bringing in diverse and emerging thought-leaders in the areas of conscious business and sustainable leadership practices. Specifically, we’ll be seeking out experts and changemakers that can point to solutions that will reframe our thinking, actions, and behaviors. If you know anyone who fits that description, let me know!

Lastly, there is no action needed from you, but I wanted to make sure you were informed of the change. If you have any concerns or questions, feel free to reach out! You’ve come this far with me, so I hope you join for this next leg of my podcasting journey.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart <3.

When was the last time you hit your flow state? There is nothing quite like it, the productivity, the at-one-ness with your work etc… Trying to find and stay in that state can be a challenge, but there are two bright minds working to ensure that you stay on your A-game.

On this episode, I’m joined by two special guests, Ulf Schwekendiek and Steven Puri, co-founders of the app Centered. Together, in response to the growing influence of distracting technologies, Centered was created to help people be more productive by getting into deep work states quicker and staying there longer. It’s not just a “to do” app, Centered is changing the way we think about work. We discuss their experiences in creating this mindfulness app that “helps you get work done faster and happier.”

Staying “centered” can take many forms, including flow music, automated productivity coaching, mono-tasking and the Pomodoro method to help you become more productive in your work.

The truth is, there is a true cost to multi-tasking and its effects not only on productivity, but on mental health. Mono-tasking leads to a more effective way to work and, here’s the kicker, helps you spend less time working so you can make space for becoming a “happier human.”

Spirituality and work are often two terms that mix as well as water and vinegar, but if workers put so much stock into their careers, it’s almost impossible not to consider their spiritual wellbeing also.

According to my guest, Janelle King, the two are practically inseparable. In this episode we dig into the importance of understanding the intersection of individual spirituality, finding organizational meaning and purpose, and the difference between having a purpose and a “calling”

Janelle King is a fellow Industrial/Organizational consultant and the Founder of Excel Leadership. Janelle works with organizations to build purpose driven cultures and with individuals to build purpose driven lives that connect to life and work.

Experience design doesn’t have to be void of the spiritual. As progressive leaders seek to make workplaces more human I would expect to see more bridging of organizational purpose to meet the spiritual needs of employees.

80-85% of stress in organizations is caused by ineffective, internal communication. That means, according to Evan, that organizations are standing in the way of their own success.

In today’s episode we get the best of two worlds, Evan Singer is a former-NFL and former-Uber leader turned people-first entrepreneur. He has used his experiences to apply a human-centered approach to leadership, communications, performance, and well-being through understanding stress and evolving mindset and resilience.

We chat about the individual human connection to stress (why we experience it and how to manage it) and how organizations can inflict or alleviate stress on the system and its people.

“The reactive and self-preservation role stress plays and the primal brain’s response to threats and emotions. And the opportunity for us to use our evolved mind to identify and observe stress to mindfully find thoughts that provide relief to stress.”

I’ve always believed that the role of an organization is to create cognitive ease and human-centered solutions to reduce stress, eliminate complexity, celebrate failure and provide tools for more resilient, happier and healthier humans in the workplace ☀️

“We need to get clear that there is probably not this thing called ‘culture’ that an organization dictates and pushes through an organization. It needs to be viewed as a network effect, a collaborative effect, and a co-creation effect.”

This is one of the many powerful soundbites dropped by my most recent guest Ciela Hartanov, which contained many jaw-dropping moments. She makes a VERY convincing case for employee experience design.

Ciela has a doctorate in Culture and Human Behavior and was part of the founding team of The Google School for Leaders and Head of Next Practice Innovation and Strategy. How much do you know about your employee’s physical health?

Our guest on today’s podcast helps connect preventive health to culture at work and sustainability.

Dr. Jim Feng founded Phyxable Inc, an end-to-end virtual pain and prevention platform that uses machine learning, augmented reality and gamification to coach people out of pain, while empowering them with better human performance.

If you’ve spent any time in the corporate world in the past 2 years, you’ve probably noticed a lot of changes in the way we work. One of the biggest changes is the shifting power dynamics between employer and employee. This podcast episode is coming to you live from the Workhuman LIVE - the world’s most transformative HR conference in Atlanta, GA!

Ok, y’all know I’m all about the ripple effect. My heart was beaming after a quote from this week’s podcast, “If we all just treated each other better, imagine the ripple effect it would have on the world” I know, right!?

In this episode we get up close and personal with Paul Wolfe, former CHRO of Indeed and author of an upcoming book, who is very good at living his mission to be vulnerable and promote equity in the workplace. He shares personal stories from navigating the pandemic with OCD, keeping employees aligned to the company purpose by focusing on employee happiness, and connecting us all back to our one universally shared experience: we are all human.

Paul doesn’t let a minute go by without sharing his disdain for “engagement” and surface level culture initiatives, the power of vulnerable leaders, recruiting and relationships, and work flexibility to drive productivity.

We’re all in for a treat with this one. Tune in every week for more great content on the Humanly Possible Podcast.

This podcast episode is coming to you live from the Workhuman LIVE - the world’s most transformative HR conference in Atlanta, GA! When you decide to run a marathon, you are signing up for hours of training, early morning and/or late night runs, a change in eating habits…all for a 4 hour block of time 6 months down the road. This is how Goodr defines FUN. Goodr is not just about creating fun, fashionable, and functional sunglasses that everyone can afford, they believe that people who feel fully connected to an organization will bring themselves fully to work. I thoroughly enjoyed my chat with Nicole and Stephen where we explored the many people strategies they leverage, from presenting FLOCK UP awards to let employees know it’s ok to get it wrong, to implementing core values by introducing a slew of fun words that they use to define and shape behaviors …all with the intent of bringing joy back to work. Goodr is a great example of what I hope to achieve with my clients, I always say that my business is to work myself out of a job. I want to bake culture into the bones and the tissue of the organization, so much so that we create a self-sustaining people strategy that employees love. Compare what the world of work looked like 10 years ago to today. No one imagined a pandemic. No one could have predicted a moment in time where 100% of the workforce would be remote. Even though it’s hard to predict what will happen, Project 2030 has a vision for the future and is working to bring it to life.

Project 2030 is an informative exchange designed to empower, teach, educate and inspire the next generation of people leaders. They host a series of fireside chats/keynotes that are held at the university level to educate up-and-coming HR and leaders across America.

This episode touched me on a personal level because I can recall when I was at university working on my degree and trying to imagine where I fit in the workforce. Laura and AJ instill hope into an entire generation who already understand the shifting role of HR in the workforce and embrace it with open arms.

In this episode we discuss how to:

  1. Sharpen your competencies as an HR executive

  2. Identify your specific HR leadership style

  3. Define a roadmap/career path ways to senior leadership

  4. Dig deep into frameworks that are vital for people leaders

To any of you out there trying to predict what the world of work in 2030 looks like…I wish I could give you specifics, but I am extremely hopeful for the future of work and am grateful to build it alongside great people like Laura and AJ.

I always say that it’s our responsibility to send happier healthier humans home. We are not just leaders of business, we are impacting whole families, whole communities, whole societies. All our actions have a ripple effect.

That’s why I am passionate about the upcoming generation, because they have the ability to change the narrative, and it starts at school, before they even enter the workforce. My guests today are leading the charge of preparing students for the challenges they will face as they enter the workforce.

Amy and Jazmine lead Schools That Can, a national not-for-profit network of K-12 schools in multiple cities, focused on providing culturally-relevant career readiness programming that helps schools meet student needs. It was a pleasure to unpack their passions in this episode.

Their transformational work can be felt for generations, even though they might not see the immediate impact, which I found to be inspiring. Not all of our work will produce immediate gains, and more often than not, it’s the most important work we could be doing. What are you doing to create lasting change?

Join us for a great discussion of the ways we can positively influence the lives of our youth to shape a greater future for them and a more inclusive workplace.

As the world returns to work, a term has caught my attention: proximity bias 🚩🚩🚩

It’s a concept that those employees returning to the office are treated better than those who continue to work remotely. So my question is, how do we replicate the employee experience for distributed teams to build deeper connections and relationships in a virtual world?

Here to talk about his transformative work is Brian Mohr, Cofounder and CEO of Anthym, a one-of-a-kind team connection & trust-building platform designed for remote, distributed, and hybrid teams.

“Our life experiences are like a unique mixtape with a variety of soundtracks that shape who we are. Sad and tragic songs, happy, upbeat songs etc... Anthym uses this media to help catalog important moments which help teammates connect with each other."

Relationships are the foundation of all accomplishments. The stronger they are, the better the business results will be, and the closer we get to making work more human. There’s just no downside to focusing on the “soft skills.”

People, let’s connect the dots of an employee’s unique work styles and experiences to the value they generate for the company, not where they are located.

We already have enough bias in the workplace, let’s not create another based on proximity.

Being “highly sensitive” has often been viewed as a counter traditional leadership trait but my guest today has built an entire work model around educating about HSPs (highly sensitive people) and proving that highly sensitive leaders actually build stronger culture and more cohesive teams.

Heather Dominick is the founder and leader of the Highly Sensitive Entrepreneur® movement. Her teachings demonstrate how highly sensitive traits when used as strengths, rather than shadows, can create effective entrepreneurial success. Her deep wisdom reaches over 100,000 Highly Sensitive Entrepreneurs around the globe. Did I mention she started off as a high school drama teacher? Heather has been on an inspiring and transformative journey.

In this episode we dig into how to hold leaders accountable to the culture that we create and allow people to bring their best selves to work. It takes a fair amount of self-awareness, empathy, sensitivity, and willingness to change for good, but we have both seen truly selfless leaders rise up and make the change. It’s possible and it’s worth it.

Tune in and learn to get in touch with your sensitive side 🤗

Authenticity, and I cannot emphasize this enough, is an important piece of leadership. If you are uncomfortable in your own skin, how do you expect to help others find their own authentic voice?

It takes a pinch of vulnerability, several cups of empathy, and a handful of love, but with a little practice and patience, you’ll find the perfect recipe for developing humans into the best they can be.

Here to discuss with me on this week’s podcast is Tony Martignetti, Founder and Chief Inspiration Officer at Inspired Purpose Coaching. Tony has over 25 years of experience in navigating people through change and unlocking their true potential.

“When leaders unlock their potential and lead from a place of inspired purpose, they impact and inspire everyone around them.”

Tony introduces us to flashpoints, or moments that ignite the brilliant and unique ways you like to shine. Leaders have the opportunity every day to unlock these moments and leave a legacy on the humans they work with. It's about turning the light on inside of them and seeing their uniqueness in a different way than the past.

As always, we are there to help you discover your flashpoint moments. Thanks for your time and attention as we learn and grow together.

What matters most is how you feel.

These are the powerful words of Sensei Victoria Whitfield on today’s podcast, honoring how you feel, honoring your senses, honoring your instincts to experience true and lasting healing.

Sensei Victoria is an Energy Master, Executive Performance Coach and the first Business Reiki Master who specializes in supporting entrepreneurs to master their energy.

In this episode we dig into energy healing at work and the power it has to strengthen relationships, employees, and leaders. Sensei Victoria feels like ego gets a bad rap, but it is actually an important part of the human experience.

“I love the ego, I do. It is like the bouncer of the body, it protects you.”

Listening is the most important part of a director’s job, to really dig in and be open enough to stop and listen deeply. They have the ability to discern when the team is disconnected.

What needs to be done must come out of each individual’s healing journey. What matters most is how you feel in order to heal.

I’d recommend lighting a candle and sitting cross-legged on the floor for this one.

Some words that may resonate from your favorite millennial or Gen Z: “ I don’t answer my phone. Don’t call me. Don’t leave a message. Thanks, byeee” 👋📞”

Asynchronous communication is king, it’s how we stay in a productive state. I’d rather watch a video message from you, have time to think about it, and get back to you with a thoughtful response. There are tons of ways you can reach me now and I’m always on…on my terms.

Let me introduce you to Josh Little, the CEO of Volley, a new way to move work forward with conversations that don't involve time or place using asynchronous video. Josh is on a mission to help us have productive conversations without interrupting productivity at work.

My favorite part of this conversation is when Josh states that the future of work is only going to be more flexible and distributed. It’s here to stay and it’s driven by the employee.

The big takeaway: The most talented people will flock to flexibility. It’s our job to give them diverse ways of communicating that meet the needs of the team and facilitate deep, meaningful conversations with context.

If you’ve ever experienced Zoom fatigue (haven’t we all at this point?), stop and ask, “why does this have to be a ‘synchronous’ meeting? Can’t you just send me a video chat that I can review during the day?” Let’s agree to meet less and communicate more.

Josh is doing a foundational work to keep communication fun and engaging. Reach out to him on Volley when you have a minute…just don’t call him on the phone either.

I heard an interesting comment the other day, “we are closer to 2030 than 2019 in terms of workforce advancement.” It gave me pause…

The pandemic has accelerated the rate of change that companies are experiencing and it’s hard to keep up if they aren’t doing everything to prioritize employee experience. This change has been building up for decades and some leaders fail to adapt because they are still trying to do things perfectly. Today’s guest, Frank Cottle, reminds us that it’s ok to exchange “perfection” for “good enough” in order to navigate a rapidly changing work environment.

In short, empathy, vulnerability, and compassion are replacing yesterday’s top leadership qualities of discipline, control, and authority.

Frank is an expert and a thought leader on the intersection between flexible working, technology, and the future of work. He speaks on the dynamics and practicalities of the future workplace and has been building flexible workspace brands since 1979, establishing himself as an advocate for new ways of working that empower people to work better, smarter, and more productively.

In this episode we discuss the unspoken “social contract” of work, which I argue is more important than the actual contractual agreement employees sign when hired. Yes, employees agree to give companies their time and attention, but they care more about the relationship. It’s a mutually beneficial, symbiotic relationship built on trust and caring.

If you can focus on maintaining strong, honest relationships with employees, you’ll withstand the constant winds of change that exist in the modern workplace.

New leaders, it’s time to decide how you want to show up.

Imagine what kind of leader you will be in 30 years. Will you be “that leader” stuck in their way and thinking you know better than the rising generation? Or will you adopt a growth mindset and often reassess the best path forward?

In this episode we get real about the next generation of leaders with Andrea Threet, a lawyer in DC practicing employment law and specializing in conflict between employers and employees. Her passion is where work culture and legal risk meet. Andrea says she deeply respects the unapologetic and authentic nature of Gen Z employees entering the workforce.

“They aren’t going to put up with the egos, with all the unnecessary bottlenecks that prevent them from doing the work, and for that, I respect them”

Work has changed more in the past 2 years than the past 20. It’s time to reassess our deeply held beliefs about work and decide if they are still serving us. Yes, principles remain the same, but the behavior of leaders can often betray the very values they seek to uphold.

I’m very excited about this episode. If you have ever been curious about the intersection of work culture and employment law and the legal pitfalls of ignoring workforce experience, tune in with the one and only, Andrea Threet.

What are the benefits of being vulnerable at work? Why is authoritarian leadership losing its power over employees? How can organizations enable employees to be more effective through free expression?

These are some of the heavy topics that we tackle with special guest Garry Turner on today’s podcast. Garry is a Strategic Advisor and Thinking Partner as well as Founder of HEXO Change who leverages over 20 years of international commercial experience leadership and building human-centered approaches across people, culture and systems.

Garry encourages us that being vulnerable is actually FUN! He states, “It’s actually one of the most freeing experiences of my life. I’ve gotten much more comfortable sitting in vulnerability and that’s when life opens up.”

I also chimed in about my experience with vulnerability “If I’m being vulnerable, I’m being myself. It’s when I’m trying to fit in or not being authentic to myself, that’s when I feel a major disconnect to my purpose.”

If leaders are still taking a bullying approach to get employees to comply, they are in for a rude awakening when workers start to leave the organization.

We’ve got so much evidence for DEI, the value of being human, and focusing on employee well-being, so why haven’t we been able to fully pivot? It’s because we are still beholden to the antiquated and engrained leadership messages of the past.

This is a great episode for any leaders who are looking to center themselves and lead with love and compassion.

Thanks, as always, for tuning in!

Inspirational Guest Quotes on this Episode:

"If you're doing hiring in the same way, using applications, resumes, job boards, postings, and praying—everything is so reactive. You are going to miss out on the talent of the next generation, you're going to really struggle to help your company grow and thrive…if you can't find a new way to think about how you bring in talent into your organization."

"Gen Z is this interesting generation. I'm very optimistic because they really hold employers accountable. They're asking what is your connection with corporate responsibility? What's your purpose? What am I going to get out of this experience? And that's a very different way of thinking."

"Stop evaluating 80% of your support roles based on the resume, it's just the worst tool on the planet. It endorses a very skewed and inequitable working world. When you think about what a resume is, it's a documentation of who gave you opportunities to do what. It is not a piece of documentation that says, I am capable of doing all that you're asking of doing—totally separate questions."

"Resumes—please walk away from them."

Welcome to Season 3! This season, we are bringing you special guests who are actively disrupting the world of work in the best ways possible – for the benefit of people and humanity. To kick us off, we are joined by brothers Dan and Patrick Riley. Both Dan and Patrick are co-founders of RADICL an authority in people science and the whole person experience.

Our conversation centers around the change moment organizations have found themselves in as of late. While leading through a pandemic and movement around social and racial justice, many organizations have begun to understand their role in creating inclusive spaces where people can thrive.

As the boundaries between work and life continue to blend, leaders and organizations may be questioning HOW to take in and take on this pivotal change moment and change for the good.

We discuss the science behind fundamental culture building blocks like organizational beliefs, purpose, values, and behaviors. And, we explore just how important it is to develop an intentional strategy around operationalizing them into the fabric of your organization through measurement, solutions and storytelling.

Like many of you, I’ve been working hard to temper my expectations for a year that’s experienced a massive amount of pressure to be better than its predecessor. We’re off to a rocky yet optimistic start, and my optimism has only grown from the hopeful conversations you’ll experience this season.

Although many might call 2020 “broken” -I’m happy to introduce this season’s theme - The Whole Human. We will explore the complexities of the human experience and call on leaders to challenge the idea of a “work” human, and instead, create spaces where humans can work AS humans.

I won’t pretend that we can, in a comprehensive, way explore every intricate layer of the human experience, but we will explore how to use human-centered design to create workplaces where people can bring their best.

Topics will include elements such as Workplace Spirituality in driving purpose, the importance of physical and mental wellbeing, the power of pride and the magic in play and creativity.

Let’s get the conversation started !
