If you had asked me 1st Jan 2020 how I thought this year was going to go, I would have said “absolutely record-breaking” but as Covid-19 swept into all of our lives, it quickly became clear that this was going to be a challenging year for so many businesses and industries.
In this final episode of Season 1, I wanted to share with you what this year has not only thrown at me financially, logistically and mentally but also what it has taught me.
I know so many industry friends and venues have been in the same challenging situations, so if you are currently fighting hard to keep going, know that you are not alone.
I am really interested in what the lasting effects of Covid-19 on the wedding industry will be but
I truly believe the wedding industry has an incredibly positive future ahead of it, and that 2021 will see us grow and adapt how we gather and celebrate.
If you want to chat over your venues plans or goals for 2021 online, or even over a coffee as business meetings are allowed, then let’s do it! Please do reach out via the links below.
I am wishing you all a very merry Christmas and I can’t wait to see you in 2021!
With the Covid-19 vaccine rolling out & the government hinting that weddings will be able to take place from Easter, there might finally be some much-needed light at the end of the tunnel.
So with engagement season upon us and many weddings rearranged for 2021 I am joined today by Hall & Co event stylist, Millie, to discuss what weddings and events might look like in 2021 and beyond.
We will be taking a look at some of the key trends coming through for the new year, as well as how Covid-19 restrictions are influencing the popularity of outdoor ceremonies, elopements, micro weddings, and even multi-day events to allow different groups of family and friends to gather.
With our recent experience of weddings with Hall & Co Event Design, we’re sharing how drinks receptions, serving food, and group photography can be adapted to create a safe but beautiful personal wedding.
Millie also has some top tips for venues to show their value and level of customer care to couples, even with reduced numbers and we both share our wedding highs and weddings lows of 2020.
