Do you feel like every time life is going great, a challenge or hardship inevitably shows up? It is in these moments that we can choose to be better, or bitter.
Today, I am talking about the moments in life where we can choose to be better or bitter. When life throws us challenges, it can be easy to allow them to take you down and dim your light. However, each of these challenges are actually brought into our life as moments of growth where we can elevate ourselves and continue to shine our light. Challenges are empowering moments where we have a choice to see the negative or the positive, and when we choose the latter we can overcome anything.
Tune in and listen to episode 22 of Cope & Land to learn about the recent challenges that I have been going through, what I learned from reading The High 5 Habit, how you can begin to see the positive in hardships, and why there is a beautiful peace that comes when you choose to be better over bitter.

“Speak your mind and the rest will follow” I truly believe that speaking your truth will change your life, relationships, and parenting for the better.
Today, I am talking about the importance of speaking your truth. Have you been silenced by others throughout your life and are afraid to share your opinions? Too many times we silence ourselves when there is conflict in our lives and relationships, creating suffering, when really these moments of conflict are the most pivotal moments of change. If you’re willing to have tough conversations, you will learn that there is a way to navigate them with transparency, and honesty in a way that is still kind. Agreeing to disagree can bring amazing life lessons, open your eyes to new perspectives, and even strengthen your connections with others.
Tune in and listen to episode 19 of Cope & Land to learn why I believe it is important to speak your truth, about the period in my life where I silenced myself, why it’s important for me to speak my truth as a mother, what tends to happen if we don’t speak up, and why you should begin to speak your truth today. I encourage you to live every day with no shame around being wrong or in disagreement because life is too short to be silenced!

I believe we have to check out to check back in. If you have recently found yourself feeling exhausted, empty, and overwhelmed, take time to check back in with yourself and take the action needed to fill your own cup so you can check back in.
Today, I am talking about how staying connected to yourself is necessary in order to show up as the best version of yourself for the other people within your life. When we view self-care as a rare luxury, we are left feeling overworked, tired, and ill-equipped to juggle every aspect of our life at once. We need to make sure that we are consistently filling our own cups first before we fill others. Take time to assess how you are caring for yourself to make sure you are in tune with your mind, body, spirit, and overall well-being. Prioritize your relationship with yourself first and don’t feel guilty about it, you are worth it.
Tune in and listen to episode 18 of Cope & Land to learn why I recently had to check out to check back in, the different activities and tools that I use in order to connect back with myself, how to fuel your mind to create a fulfilling life, and more. With the hustle and bustle of life, it is easy to put our well-being on the back burner, so if you needed a reminder to schedule in self-care today, this episode is it.

Whatever the tasks, do them slowly with ease and mindfulness. It’s time that we all stop moving at 100 miles per hour and begin to relax, simplify, and live our life with intention. Rather than taking on each task with the goal of getting it over with, embrace the present and soak in each moment.
Today, I am talking about ways that we can all rewire our minds from feeling overwhelmed and dissatisfied with life to replacing those feelings with joy and a sense of enhanced presence. After a summer of rest and relaxation, I am taking the feelings of calm and peace with me into the fall as my family and I navigate the rush of new activities - and I think each of you should as well. When you are moving through life stressed and unhappy while trying to check off your task list, you are missing out on precious life moments with the people that you care about. Slow down, simplify, and begin to enjoy every single experience with a fresh perspective!
Tune in and listen to episode 17 of Cope & Land to learn how I have transitioned from someone who let daily stress rule my mood and into someone that seeks out peace and the simple pleasures. I dive into the tools and practices that have helped me maintain this state of being which you can apply to your own life. Take a deep breath, relax, and listen in to learn why you deserve to slow down.
