This 5th episode of Floating Through Film is about the French New Wave filmmakers that weren't part of the Cahier du Cinema Group, commonly referred to as the "Left Bank" Group. The core members of this group were Chris Marker, Alain Resnais and Agnès Varda, but others at the time can also be considered a part of this group, especially including Varda's husband Jacques Demy. We begin the episode by giving our own thoughts on these filmmakers, and how we think of them in relation to the Cahier du Cinema group.
