This podcast is an attempt for two Western New Yorkers to educate each other on Native American history, culture, and current events. We will be diving into topics and speaking with members of communities who embody the culture and history of their people.
Tylor has a research based Bachelor’s degree and has lived adjacent to the Seneca Indian Reservation all of his life, but is looking to learn more about the OG American cultures. He will scour the internet for accurate historical information and present it in an objective way.
Alec grew up in the Seneca Indian Reservation and has been embedded in Reservation culture all of his life, but is looking to expand his understanding by sharing his experiences and connecting with his community.
It is our hope that in talking two ways (research and experience) we can bring educated ideas from the vast resources of Native American culture to the forefront and become better individuals. As well as bring a voice to an important part of human history that has often gone unheard.
Disclaimer: We are not professionals in this field, only enthusiasts attempting to use our background to better connect to cultures that surround us and make up parts of our history. This podcast will consist of research that we present as well as our own personal opinion on what we have found. We encourage you to do your own research if you find the topics interesting.
