To my listeners who are dismayed by the turnout of elections, I'm sending you virtual hugs through this podcast. You all fought well and you don't deserve to be invalidated for your feelings of dismay. The past few months have been stressful for us. We've lost friends and families, even our own voices to chant our heart's desires for the government and none of it has been easy. I hope that this podcast may ease you in some ways and remind you to continue to be hopeful despite the hopelessness of the world.

All love, Jean Mari

It's been quite some while since my last upload considering my 1 month rut and mental health break but I'm back with more exciting topics to talk about!

Tradition have always passed the role of the pursuer to men and it's not very mundane, especially here in the Philippines, that women are told that it's okay to do the first move as a woman.

In this podcast we will be talking about breaking the stereotypes in dating as well as the realities of doing the first move as a woman. Join me in this episode!

Hello everyone! Join me in this episode and let's talk about how important labels are when you're learning to set boundaries.

I used to believe in normalizing no-label relationships until I realized it was because I had very little understanding about how labels work and what labels are.

In this podcast I will be talking about the different types of labels and how it is important in determining where you stand in a person's life and what are the boundaries you both shouldn't cross.

It has not been that long since the last time I've uploaded a podcast episode.

A few days ago, I was pondering about a question my friend asked me, "Why is being sad addicting?" and I realized a lot of stuff and to me, the reason why being sad is addicting because it’s easy. It's the most convenient feeling in the world. But what if happiness is just allowing ourselves to appreciate the simple stuff and to be grateful about the simplest things that make us happy? Join me in this podcast as we talk about the reason why some of us are unhappy.

It’s our personal responsibility to tell people how we feel about a certain situation because people are not mind readers. Some people won’t get what offends you unless you tell them.

You have to be accountable for yourself and your actions and find a way to deal with your issues as well as your own emotions in a healthy manner. One day, you will have to snap out of that gloomy bubble and get your shit together by not tolerating your bad habits, especially when those habits don’t help you at all.

Confident people don’t go for people who lack backbone period. It’s not that nice people always finish last, it’s more of, “ People who have no sense of improvement will always lose.” You can’t expect someone who is way out of your league to like you back when you are not doing anything to improve yourself.

“Empowered women, empower others”

For the past few months, I’ve been struggling to find the will to continue doing what I do. It took me quite some time to find that missing spark in me. Who would’ve thought I’d find it in other women?

Smart, beautiful, competent, confident, and inspiring women who share the same warmth —women who share their spark with others to keep the passion burning. Alpha females who lead with compassion and grit.

When you surround yourself with empowered people, you become empowered as well. When you are surrounded by the right people, you can be whoever you want to be. These are just some snippets of what these women have taught and have proven to me.

Being choosy should also come with a boundary or a limit. Do not treat relationships as something to fill in what you lack. Be the person you want to be with so you can attract what’s meant for you.
