In this episode of the Bald Brad Show, the White House has released a report on President Biden's withdrawal from Afghanistan, defending his decision to end the two-decade-long war. However, the report appears to repeatedly criticize the Trump administration for constraining the conditions of the American evacuation, while not acknowledging any mistakes made by Biden. The report does acknowledge that the evacuation of Americans and allies from Afghanistan should have started sooner, but blames the delays on the Afghan government and military, and on U.S. military and intelligence community assessments. The review has drawn criticism from reporters for pointing the finger at the Trump administration instead of taking responsibility for the Biden administration's actions. Democrats, including President Joe Biden and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), are blaming Donald Trump for the sudden collapse of two banks, Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank.

In this episode of The Bald Brad Show, National Security Council spokesman John Kirby on Monday said the Biden administration has not reached a consensus on the origins of COVID-19 despite an assessment from the U.S. Energy Department (DOE) that the virus likely originated from an accidental lab leak in China. Is there a White House Cover-Up? The comments came in response to Fox News White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich, who asked Kirby how Americans should understand China’s assertion that the DOE’s assessment was politically motivated and lacked merit. Previously undecided on the origin of the pandemic, the DOE now joins the FBI’s stance that COVID-19 likely spread due to a mishap at a Chinese laboratory, the Wall Street Journal reported Sunday, citing a classified intelligence report recently provided to the White House and key members of Congress. Republican lawmakers from the House and Senate criticized President Biden's unannounced trip to Kiev, Ukraine, on Monday and said it shows Biden is more interested in Ukraine than the crisis at the border or the release of toxic chemicals into the air and water in East Palestine, Ohio. In this episode of The Bald Brad Show, we ask the question of are we heading toward World War 3? World War III could break out if China actively supports Russia in its year-long battle to subdue Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky has said. “For us, it is important that China does not support the Russian Federation in this war,” the Ukrainian president told German daily Die Welt on Monday. “In fact, I would like it to be on our side. At the moment, however, I don’t think it’s possible.” But Zelensky added that he sees opportunity for China to make a “pragmatic assessment of what is happening.” “Because if China allies itself with Russia, there will be a world war, and I do think that China is aware of that,” he said. The Ukrainian president’s remarks come one day after US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken admitted the US was “very concerned that China’s considering providing lethal support to Russia” as it continues its long invasion of its western neighbor. Blinken told NBC’s “Meet the Press” Sunday that he told his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, that such a move would have “serious consequences in our relationship.”

In the last two weeks, U.S. military fighter jets shot down at least four aerial objects, including a Chinese spy balloon that flew across country from Alaska to South Carolina over an eight-day stretch. President Biden addressed the situation for the first time on Thursday, more than two weeks after the initial Chinese spy flight that traveled across the continental United States for several days. Biden said the additional objects were "most likely balloons tied to private companies, recreation or research institutions studying weather or conducting other scientific research," and not Chinese spy aircraft.

He added that he couldn't say what the standard would be going forward on handling further incursions into U.S. airspace, and was unsure if it was indeed "strange" that no country had yet to claim responsibility for the UFOs. "I don't know what kind of imagery might exist, and they'd be wanting to talk about whether they're releasable or not," Kirby said, referencing possible photos of the UFOs the Department of Defense might have. Some 50% of respondents to a Gallup survey said they are “financially worse off” compared to one year ago, while 35% believe they are “financially better off,” marking the most dismal results for the poll since the economy crashed in 2008 and 2009. Lower-income Americans were the most likely to report that they have been worse off since last year. Approximately 61% reflected pessimism about their current finances in 2023, while 41% said the same this year. Furthermore, during a House Oversight Committee hearing on Tuesday, Rep. In this episode of The Bald Brad Show, last night's address should have been called the state of the union clown show. President Joe Biden made numerous false or misleading statements during his opening remarks in his State of the Union address Tuesday evening. Biden started out by making misleading claims about the economy, claiming that he “created a record 12 million new jobs, more jobs created in two years than any president has ever created in four years.” Biden failed to note that many of those jobs were people coming back to jobs that they lost during the pandemic. Biden touted how gas prices have gone down slightly, but failed to note that they skyrocketed to all-time highs during his administration. Biden claimed that inflation is coming down, but failed to note that inflation levels have remained high throughout his administration and peaked at 40-year highs. He also claimed that Americans’ “take-home pay has gone up” without mentioning that record inflation has severely impacted those gains. Biden blamed the skyrocketing inflation rates that exploded under his watch on “the pandemic that disrupted supply chains and Putin’s war that disrupted energy and food supplies.” Biden failed to note the inflation rates took off under his administration, not the previous administration, and how his $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan turbocharged inflation.

In this episode of The Bald Brad Show, White House reporters are left confused by the White House messaging regarding raising the debt limit and classified documents. Reporters attempt to get clarification regarding Karine Jean-Pierres answers to raising the debt ceiling without conditions but then at the same time saying Joe Biden is willing to negotiate. Reporters are truly baffled. Moreover, dozens of House Democrats have proposed legislation that would eliminate the debt ceiling, which would allow the government to borrow without any limit set by Congress. The federal government hit the $31.381 trillion debt ceiling last week, and House Republicans are pushing for commitments to cut back on the record growth in federal spending before agreeing to allow more borrowing. But Democrats accuse Republicans of setting up the possibility of prohibiting a debt ceiling hike, which would make the government unable to fund all of its current obligations. Democrats say a better idea is to eliminate all limits on federal borrowing and allow the government to borrow whatever it needs. Furthermore, White House seems to be covering up the classified documents scandal. Jordan announced his probe on Jan. 13, one day after Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed former U.S. attorney Robert Hur as special counsel to investigate Biden. Specifically, Jordan wants all documents and communications related to the investigation. "It is unclear when the Department first came to learn about the existence of these documents, and whether it actively concealed this information from the public on the eve of the 2022 elections," Jordan wrote in his letter. "It is also unclear what interactions, if any, the Department had with President Biden or his representatives about his mishandling of classified material. The lawmakers conveyed their "outright opposition to a debt-ceiling hike without real structural spending reform that reduces deficit spending and brings fiscal sanity back to Washington. It is the policy of the Senate Republican conference 'that any increase in the debt ceiling must be accompanied by cuts in federal spending of an equal or greater amount as the debt ceiling increase, or meaningful structural reform in spending, such as the Prevent Government Shutdown Act or the Full Faith and Credit Act.' We intend to stand by that policy."

A Georgia school district and sheriff's office are investigating a student assault on a teacher caught on video Thursday at Heritage High School in Conyers. Furthermore, police are investigating an altercation between a Texas teacher and a student caught on video, and the district has placed the teacher on leave. The incident unfolded on Wednesday at Humble High School. Cellphone video showed a teacher grabbing a student and slamming him against the wall before other students surround the two. Also in this episode, The New York Rangers hockey team took the ice for warmups before their game on Friday night without the promised rainbow-colored jerseys and stick tape meant to show deference to the so-called "LGBTQ+" community, causing outrage among left-leaning media outlets and activists. For the past six seasons, the Rangers have hosted "Pride Night Friday" at Madison Square Garden, and that tradition continued this year. On January 27, Michael James Scott, a Broadway star who identifies as gay, performed the national anthem. Andre Thomas, the co-chair of NYC Pride and Heritage of Pride, participated in the ceremonial, pre-game puck drop. The arena, especially the jumbotron, was emblazoned in "rainbow colors," and members of the Rangers Blue Crew, the people responsible for inciting fan engagement, still carried rainbow-colored flags.

In this episode of The Bald Brad Show, White House reporters continue to press Karine Jean-Pierre on the classified documents found at Joe Biden's home. In short, the White House goes dark on anything remotely related to documents, the word classified or even processes. The first segment has a White House reporter from NBC News asking Karine Jean-Pierre what the President meant by having no regrets. As the mouthpiece and person who is hired to elaborate on the Presidents thoughts; Karine Jean-Pierre tells the reporter to ask the White House council or DOJ. In the second segment, a White House reporter asks Karine Jean-Pierre to walk everyone through the general process of what happens when classified documents are found. Just as you would imagine, Karine Jean-Pierre wouldn't answer that question. In the third segment, a White House reporter asks Karine Jean-Pierre if the President has had his answers to reporters' questions vetted. As you could guess, Karine Jean-Pierre dodges that questions as well. In our last segment, Joe Biden's breaks another record in illegal immigration. U.S. Customs and Border Protection reporting a whopping 251,487 southwest land border encounters during the month of December 2022.

In this episode of The Bald Brad Show, The reaction to Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Ivan Provorov’s refusal to wear a rainbow-themed jersey at NHL “pride night” on Tuesday proved that’s the Left’s goal. Provorov, a practicing Russian Orthodox Christian, chose not to wear the jersey due to his personal beliefs. In turn, the outrage over a man practicing his religion was apoplectic. Demands were imminent that he either don the attire or go back to Russia. “Ivan Provorov can get on a plane any day he wants, and go back to place a where he feels more comfortable, take less money, and get on with his life that way, ” NHL Network’s E.J. Hradek barked this week. Hradek wasn’t done. The senior reporter demanded that Provorov adopt the new American values found in the LGBTQ creed. Furthermore, Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis approved measures on Tuesday to prevent the Florida Retirement System Pension Plan from investing in accordance with the environmental, social, and corporate governance movement, also known as ESG. According to DeSantis’ office, the approval of the resolution will ensure that public fiduciaries “invest state funds in a manner that prioritizes the highest return on investment for Florida’s taxpayers and retirees without considering the ideological agenda” of the ESG movement. Critics say the philosophy confuses profit maximization with political and social agendas such as reducing carbon emissions or promoting purported racial equity. “Corporations across America continue to inject an ideological agenda through our economy rather than through the ballot box,” DeSantis said in a press release. “Today’s actions reinforce that ESG considerations will not be tolerated here in Florida, and I look forward to extending these protections during this legislative session.”

In this episode of The Bald Brad Show, the big three: CBS News, Fox News, and NBC News push back on Karine Jean-Pierre regarding the lack on answers to their questions. The White House is exposed for going dark regarding classified documents found at Joe Biden's home. The White House has previously claimed that President Joe Biden works while taking trips to his Wilmington, Delaware, home, but it is now claiming that the residence is "personal" amid a number of classified documents being found at the address. The National Archives says it requires Justice Department approval before it can share information with Congress about the classified documents found in President Biden's home in Wilmington, Delaware, and the Penn Biden Center think tank. Republicans on Capitol Hill have demanded details on the contents of the three stashes of classified documents found in Biden's Wilmington garage and the Penn Biden Center's offices in Washington. House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., has been aggressive in seeking details about the documents and Biden's handling of them. Nevertheless, the National Archives sent a letter to Comer Tuesday evening saying it cannot yet comply.

In this episode of The Bald Brad Show, we discuss the cover up nobody is talking about. The news that principals at several high schools in Fairfax County, Virginia, withheld valuable academic awards from top-performing students — around the time the school system hired a consultant that promised “equal outcomes for every student, without exception” — has shocked the nation. How could schools have gone from encouraging academic standouts to seemingly trying to squash them? And what are the consequences for our best and brightest and our nation? This latest scandal effectively dispenses with a misconception that has confused the debate over politicized schools for three years: The most important way you’ll see Critical Race Theory (CRT) manifest in your school system isn’t through discussions of race at all. It’s through lowered academic standards and the rejection of the idea that excellence even exists. Leftist activists present CRT — or as its proponents in K-12 call it, “equity” — as being about teaching about slavery (as if every American school doesn’t already do that). But I spent two years researching a book on these activists’ takeover of American schools, and it quickly became clear that the real, underlying story was much more important, if less politically flashy: schools’ abject failure to actually help kids learn, and the dishonest tactics they’ll use to keep you from realizing it. One of the more striking charts I saw was from 2015. On one axis it showed the horrific state of academic accomplishment in New York City schools: In most schools, the majority of students failed the state math exam, known as the Regents. The other axis was based on the letter grades that students got in math class. Here the story looked much different: Almost everyone got passing grades — even when they failed the standardized exam covering the same material. There was essentially no correlation between getting a passing letter grade and passing the objective test. At the Science School for Exploration and Discovery in the Bronx, 94% passed their math classes in 2017-18, but only 2% passed their math exams. In other words, letter grades were meaningless. Worse, they were arguably fraud. Educators were misleading parents. Ninety percent of parents think their kids are at or above grade level, yet according to the National Assessment of Educational Progress exam, only 11% of U.S. 12th graders are proficient in history and 22% in science. Furthermore, After President Biden visited the port of entry in El Paso, Texas, on Sunday, the president of the National Border Patrol Council — the union representing agents and support staff on the United States Border Patrol — condemned Biden for not visiting the area where the border crisis is occurring. “The only people that he met with in the in the Border Patrol were upper-level management,” Brandon Judd snapped. “If they don’t tell him what he wants to hear, they’re subject to be moved. He did not meet with any rank-and-file frontline agents.” “Every single Border Patrol agent that I’ve spoken with is extremely frustrated and upset about what just took place yesterday,” Judd continued, according to the Daily Mail. “They are upset that he was not willing to see what’s actually going on. They’re upset that they cleaned everything up. They’re upset that him knowing that he was going to bring the mainstream media with them, that we all of a sudden doubled the number of agents in the field so the mainstream media would say: ‘Hey, there’s nothing going on here, nothing to see.’” “He didn’t tour any facilities where migrants would have been. So he didn’t see anything. He did not see any of the chaos that he’s created, that he’s caused,” Judd concluded. “He didn’t get any more of an understanding [than] what he had before he went, and again, that’s politics. It was just optics. It was a photo shoot.”

Biden landed in El Paso, Texas, which has been the epicenter of a recent spike in migrant encounters. The White House says he will meet with elected local officials and community leaders while also assessing border operations.  "I know that migration is putting a real strain on the border and on border communities," Biden said Thursday. There were more than 2.3 million migrant encounters in FY 2022 alone, topping the then-historic 1.7 million encountered in FY 2021. So far in FY 2023, which began in October, the first two months have outpaced the same period last year — with 233,740 encounters in November, compared to 174,845 in 2021 and 73,994 in 2020. A Texas border congressman said that the White House's explanation for why he "couldn’t attend" President Biden’s first-ever trip to the southern border is "insulting" and shows the administration is "not willing to work" with the GOP. Texas Republican Rep. Tony Gonzales of El Paso was snubbed by the White House on Biden's visit to his district which covers a large swath of the southern border. Furthermore, the Biden administration’s Consumer Product Safety Commission is considering a nationwide ban on gas-burning stoves following a new study that claimed the appliances emit harmful pollution that has been linked to asthma in children, Bloomberg reported. According to the EPA and the World Health Organization, gas-burning stoves emit unsafe levels of nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, and particulate matter, which are reported to be linked to respiratory illness, cardiovascular issues, cancer, and other conditions. A December report from the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health claimed that over 12% “of current childhood asthma nationwide is attributed to gas stove use, which is similar to the childhood asthma burden attributed to secondhand smoke exposure.” “Gas stove usage should be considered in multi-faceted asthma prevention approaches,” the report added. “Given that this exposure is preventable, our study demonstrates that known mitigation strategies will lessen childhood asthma burden from gas stoves.” Approximately 35% of homes in the United States use gas stoves.

In this episode of The Bald Brad Show, White House reporters question White House on immigration. New York Times reporter Michael Shear cornered White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and National Security Council spokesman John Kirby — during a Friday briefing — about the administration’s handling of the ongoing crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border. Shear pointed out the fact that humanitarian groups have sounded more alarms about the Biden administration’s treatment of migrants than they did when former President Donald Trump was in the White House. Furthermore, Fox News reporter Jacquie Heinrich question John Kirby on the new parole program that you guys announced yesterday, is there any risk that because now those who don’t qualify for the program, they won’t have any incentive to turn themselves in, as a lot of people have been doing when they illegally cross the border, and that that could increase the number of got-aways? Jacquie goes on to make the point that the pilot program with Venezuela was happening and did reduce the number of crossings by 90 percent over those first few weeks that it was in place, the number of got-aways did skyrocket too at the same time. And so my question is: Does the fact that if you cross illegally, it makes you ineligible for this program — does that now disincentivize people to turn themselves in and then make part of this problem harder?

In this episode of The Bald Brad Show, Illegal immigrants in El Paso, Texas, have been arrested, their camps have been taken down, and some have been sent back to Mexico in the week leading up to President Biden’s first visit to the border during his term.  El Paso, the epicenter of the border crisis, saw up to 2,500 illegal immigrants crossing the border every day in mid-December. Videos show authorities patrolling and arresting illegal immigrants sleeping on city streets outside a bus station and the Sacred Heart Church shelter, NBC reported.  “People are saying that if you are out in the streets the Border Patrol will get you and deport you because the President is coming to El Paso and they don’t want to show him the reality of things,” Maria Rodriguez, a Venezuelan who was living in a dumpster for three days, told the New York Post. “I hope we get shelter tonight because it took us a lot of courage to go out of that dumpster after three days…We just don’t want to keep running. All we are asking is for one chance.”  One Border Patrol agent told The Post that 200 illegal immigrants were sent back to Mexico on Saturday. President Biden is scheduled to visit El Paso Sunday afternoon, much to the dismay of some border patrol agents who say it is too little, too late. National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd told Fox News Digital in a recent interview that agents are “beyond frustrated that he allowed this issue to get as bad as it is, he’s not coming to the border of his own accord. He would have done that a long, long time ago.” Lisa Graybill, vice president of law and policy at the National Immigration Law Center, told NBC News that removing illegal immigrants in front of a church shelter violates Homeland Security policy. Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas sent a memo in October 2021 stating that illegal immigrants should not be arrested at shelters like places of worship and courthouses, according to the outlet.

In this episode of The Bald Brad Show, the woke mob is pushing, yet again, that mathematics is racist. In short, two plus two equals racist. A teacher's retreat in Ontario, Canada, is inviting educators in math to an event called "Exploring the powers and potential of Indigenous knowledge systems in mathematics," according to the Post Millennial and promotional images of the event. The two-day retreat promises teachers will "deepen their understanding of incorporating Indigenous mathematics systems to enhance - and transform - the teaching and learning of mathematics for all students." The session will explore how “mathematics, along with other subjects, are not exempt from colonial bias and harmful practices that lead to inequities in student achievement.” The itinerary also promises to share tips and strategies on indigenous knowledge without "appropriating, minimizing, or tokenizing." The "about" section reads, “Indigenous knowledge systems, pedagogies, and methodologies can enhance and support the teaching and learning of mathematical concepts,” including that “educational spaces can uplift Indigenous knowledge systems and create transformative learning for all students.” A new math curriculum for Ontario's educational system in 2021 stated, “Mathematics has been used to normalize racism and marginalization of non-Eurocentric mathematical knowledges, and a decolonial, anti-racist approach to mathematics education makes visible its historical roots and social constructions.” Furthermore, On Tuesday, DC Comics released an issue featuring a “pregnant” Joker who “births” a son. The son, a mud monster who Joker vomits into existence, transforms into a smaller carbon copy of the Joker reminiscent of an Austin Powers-sequel Mini-Me trope. The storyline appeared as a backup feature in the fourth book in the series, “The Joker: The Man Who Stopped Laughing.” It appears that the Joker was “impregnated” by a nemesis who he became enamored with: the female magician Zatanna. She curses the Joker, proclaiming that no one else could have his baby as she knocks him into a mud puddle. While Zatanna intended for the spell to ensure he never had children, it inadvertently “impregnated” the Joker.

In this Episode of The Bald Brad Show, the liberal colleges about to get triggered with Ron DeSantis (R-FL) requested information on diversity expenditures from state universities. A memo addressed to Florida Education Commissioner Manny Diaz and Florida State University System Chancellor Ray Rodrigues, which was sent on December 28 and posted to social media on Wednesday by DeSantis Press Secretary Bryan Griffin, told the officials to gather data on diversity initiatives in the higher education system as the Florida legislature begins to consider budget proposals. “It is important that we have a full understanding of the operational expenses of state institutions,” the memo said. “This letter is a request for information from the Department of Education and the State University System regarding the expenditure of state resources on programs and initiatives related to diversity, equity and inclusion, and critical race theory within our state colleges and universities.” For each initiative, university administrators were told to include a brief description of the program, the number of staff positions associated with the program, the total funding used to support the program, and the portion of the funding that came from taxpayer dollars. Numerous reports have noted the inflow of capital into the nascent diversity sector, which garnered attention following the death of George Floyd in the summer of 2020. Public universities in Michigan, Maryland, Virginia, and Illinois employed diversity officials who pocketed salaries ranging from $329,000 to $430,000, according to a report from Fox News, while an analysis from the Heritage Foundation found that colleges hire an average of three diversity staffers for every 100 tenured faculty. Furthermore, the latest installment of Elon Musk's "Twitter Files" revealed some of the lengths Democrats have gone to collude with social media companies, silence critics, and stifle dissent. The latest batch of revelations contained an email wherein California Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff's office demanded that Twitter suspend journalist Paul Sperry's account, remove "any and all content" unfavorable to Schiff's aide Sean Misko and others, and altogether regulate conversations online about persons involved in both the impeachment inquiry and 2020 presidential election.

Peter Doocy questions Karine Jean-Pierre if the southern border is secure and if Joe Biden's immigration policies are working. Moreover, we have another White House reporter questing Karine Jean-Pierre on if they recognize the fact that the Biden administration can extend Title 42 themselves or abolish it. The White House for the past month has been saying that they are just trying to follow the law. This of course is just an excuse seeing as though they have been pushing for the removal of Title 42 since day one of Biden taking office. Furthermore, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is giving a huge opportunity to speak to the southern western hemisphere on immigration. She is specifically asked by a White House reporter on what she would say to those who are trying to immigrate here unlawfully. Will Karine be "clear" in her messaging as she always claims to be or will she botch this answer. Our last segment has a reporter asking Karine Jean-Pierre if it is Joe Biden's fault that gas prices are declining. This question comes after the Biden administration took responsibility for gas prices going down but whenever they would increase, the administration would place the blame on anything else. The big one the White House loves to blame is the Putin price hike even though price were souring when Biden took office.

In this episode of The Bald Brad Show, Libs of TikTok shows the Lefts insanity. Yes, you read that correctly. If you are trying to lose weight to be healthier, you are now fatphobic. Furthermore, the next clip shows a woke leftist explaining how giving kids' puberty blockers does not affect them. If you dont give them puberty blockers, then you are transphobic. If your child says they are trans or transgender, you MUST take them seriously according to the left. You MUST let them make their own healthcare decisions. The Lefts insanity has gone on for too long. Moreover, A Dayton police officer shot in the left side of his face Tuesday night who returned fire, striking the suspect multiple times, was able to request help for himself and the wounded suspect as well as direct bystanders to safety. The officer shot was identified as Thadeu Holloway, an eight-year veteran of the Dayton Police Department, said Matt Carper, interim director and chief, during a Wednesday afternoon news briefing. The officer-involved shooting began with an investigation into a fake bill passed at a Dollar General store, Carper said. Holloway responded around 6:45 p.m. to Dollar General at 888 S. Gettysburg Ave. for a fraud complaint after a customer passed a counterfeit bill earlier in the day, Carper said. Holloway arrived at 7:26 p.m. at the rear of 609 Ingram St. and approached 39-year-old Antwyane Deon Lowe, who matched the description of the suspect in the Dollar General fraud call, Carper said. As Holloway approached and addressed Lowe, he ignored the officer and began to walk away. As Holloway got closer to Lowe, he turned and punched Holloway in the face without warning, Carper said. The officer used his Taser, and Lowe fell to the ground but was able to reach into his pocket and pull out a handgun, firing one round that struck Holloway in the left side of his face, Carper said. "The officer fell to the ground and immediately returned fire with five rounds, striking the suspect multiple times. Despite his injuries, the officer was able to effectively request assistance for himself and the wounded suspect. The officer also provided for the safety of witnesses and bystanders by directing them to a place of safety."

LIKE & SUBSCRIBE for new videos everyday. https://www.youtube.com/c/BaldBrad In this episode of The Bald Brad Show, President Joe Biden gets exposed in a new book that gets released on January 17th. President Joe Biden would reportedly become enraged when he would stumble across reminders of former President Donald Trump inside the White House. The revelation was made in the forthcoming book, “The Fight of His Life: Inside Joe Biden’s White House,” by author Chris Whipple. The Daily Mail reported that examples of remnants from the Trump administration included a big screen television and a $50,000 golf simulator that Trump personally paid to have installed that allowed him to play virtual golf on almost any golf course around the world. “‘What a f*ing ahole’ Biden said, showing the contraption to a guest,” Biden allegedly said to a guest while showing them one of the things that Trump left behind. Biden reportedly has such a strong distaste for Trump that he opposes using things that the former president used, the book said. He was also reportedly paranoid that Secret Service personnel were loyal to Trump. Earlier this month, it was revealed that scenes of illegal aliens flooding the U.S. southern border caused Biden to erupt into states of fury, dropping f-bombs in front of aides. Furthermore, a California court issued a temporary hold on a law that would establish a board permitted to increase minimum wages received by fast food workers. The Fast Food Accountability and Standards Recovery Act, also known as the FAST Recovery Act, would create a “Fast Food Council” responsible for drafting “sectorwide minimum standards on wages, working hours, and other working conditions,” according to a summary of the bill, which Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA) signed three months ago. The Sacramento Superior Court paused the implementation of the law, which was slated to enter into effect on January 1, and scheduled a hearing for January 13. Save Local Restaurants, an advocacy group that garnered more than one million signatures to place the FAST Recovery Act on statewide ballots in the 2024 election, said in a press release that the court’s ruling upholds the California referendum process. “Today’s decision by the Sacramento Superior Court protects the voices of over one million California voters who exercised their democratic right in asking to vote on a piece of legislation before bearing its burden,” the coalition said. “This process has been preserved for more than 100 years and was in grave risk of being suppressed. While this pause is temporary, the impact is beyond just one piece of legislation and keeps intact for the time being California’s century-old referendum process.” The legislation, backed by the powerful Service Employees International Union, only applies to restaurants with 100 or more establishments across the United States, though a carveout exists for chains operating a bakery that “produces for sale bread as a stand-alone menu item.” Members of the Fast Food Council would be permitted to raise minimum wages up to $22 per hour, representing an increase of over 40% from the $15.50 minimum wage already slated to take effect in California. Save Local Restaurants contends that the FAST Recovery Act would place an undue burden on businesses across the state and raise food prices for residents. The bill comes after many restaurants were forced to close their doors following the state’s harsh lockdown measures.

In this episode The Bald Brad Show, President Joe Biden traveled to the U.S. Virgin Islands this week for a vacation with his family as millions suffered from one of the worst winter storms to hit the country in years. One of the worst hit areas was in Erie County, New York, where 34 people have died amid heavy snowfall and dangerously cold temperatures. Hundreds of National Guard soldiers were deployed to deliver food to residents and check on their well-being. In all, at least 86 people were rescued “from hazardous situations,” the National Guard said in a statement. CNN noted that the storm killed an additional 25 people in 11 other states and left millions without power. Meanwhile, Biden traveled to St. Croix for a vacation, reportedly staying for free at a luxury villa owned by billionaire Democrat donors Bill and Connie Neville. The media coverage that Biden received for taking a vacation as millions of Americans suffered from a natural disaster was very different than the coverage that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) received when he went on vacation last February as people in Texas faced power outages from a winter storm. Furthermore, McDonald’s revealed a test restaurant near Fort Worth, Texas, earlier this month in which automation technology replaces many positions formerly held by employees, drawing mixed reactions from conservatives and liberals. The fast food behemoth announced that customers can use kiosks and a mobile app to grab their orders from a conveyor belt rather than interacting with customer-facing staff. The concept is designed to give the restaurant team “the ability to concentrate more on order speed and accuracy, which makes the experience more enjoyable for everyone,” Keith Vanecek, the franchisee operating the restaurant, said in a press release. Conservative-leaning commentators noted that the restaurant concept comes after activist campaigns and left-wing politicians spent years calling for minimum wage hikes. The new test restaurant also hits the marketplace as historic labor shortages present difficulties to companies attempting to fill their payrolls, worsening inflationary pressures and supply chain bottlenecks. “The real minimum wage is zero and you are always replaceable,” BASEDPolitics President Hannah Cox said on social media, alluding to a phrase favored by conservative economist Thomas Sowell. “If you want more money find a way to add more value. Anyone telling you differently has no idea how to eradicate poverty.” Liberal-leaning commentators rebutted such arguments. Fight for 15, an activist group demanding a minimum wage of $15 per hour, said that the restaurant shows workers “need to demand” higher pay. “Maybe it’s time for broad worker solidarity so we can fight back.”

In this episode of The Bald Brad Show, the supreme court ruled to keep title 42 in place. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled 5-4 Tuesday to keep the pandemic-era limit on immigration, referred to as Title 42, in place indefinitely, which allows officials to turn away migrants at the border to prevent the spread of COVID. Customs and Border Protection officials warned lawmakers that approximately 50,000 foreigners were waiting to cross into the United States once Title 42 ended. However, according to The Associated Press, an order from Chief Justice John Roberts stayed a lower court’s ruling, which justices extended to give the court time to consider both sides’ arguments. Justice Neil Gorsuch the only dissenting conservative justice to join all of the Supreme Court’s liberal justices in Tuesday’s ruling said “the current border crisis is not a COVID crisis.” “And courts should not be in the business of perpetuating administrative edicts designed for one emergency only because elected officials have failed to address a different emergency,” he wrote, according to KTLA. “We are a court of law, not policymakers of last resort.” The statute, which gives commanders-in-chief the power to shut down immigration as an emergency action to keep communicable diseases out of the United States, was last used by former President Donald Trump in reaction to the COVID outbreak. Families seeking asylum had filed a lawsuit, which led Judge Emmet Sullivan of the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., to order the Biden administration to lift Title 42 by Wednesday. Furthermore, Diversity officer hires tripled in 2020 after George Floyd's death, according to the Spectator, with over $3 billion going toward diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs. American companies paid out approximately $3.4 billion to firms for diversity training after the "summer of love," yet according to a professor from Princeton University who is deeply invested in DEI programs, there has been "no good evidence for what works" or what doesn't work in diversity training. In an op-ed for the Washington Post, Betsy Levy Paluck says there is no answer to the key questions surrounding the outcomes of DEI training initiatives. "'Which training is best?' ... 'Is the training even a good idea?' and 'Does the training have negative effects?' The problem is that the real answer to all three of these questions is: We don’t know," Paluck explains.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott and other Republicans leading southern states have arranged the transport of thousands of migrants to liberal enclaves such as Chicago, New York City, Martha’s Vineyard, and Washington, D.C., in recent months to draw attention to the U.S.-Mexico border crisis. With the temperature dipping into the teens, buses with approximately 50 migrants were expected to arrive late Saturday in front of the U.S. Naval Observatory, a source told CNN. A reporter with 7News, a local ABC affiliate, caught what he said was the third and final bus of the night, noting it came from Texas. Video posted to social media by the reporter, Christian Flores, showed what he said were migrants picking up their belongings and boarding another bus destined for a local church. They included women and children. Furthermore, Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) rips the process by which the omnibus was created and passed. The House of Representatives, led by Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), passed a $1.7 trillion spending package on Friday with nine Republicans joining Democrats to send the massive omnibus to the White House in a 225-201 vote. Lawmakers are rushing to get the bill to President Joe Biden’s desk before the federal government hits its Friday deadline, running out of funding and initiating a government shutdown. Congress passed a stopgap funding measure, known as a continuing resolution, last week to fund the government up until the day before Christmas Eve. Senior lawmakers unveiled the text of the 4,155-page omnibus bill in the early morning hours on Tuesday. The Senate voted 70-25 on Tuesday to initiate debate and begin moving the bill through Congress over the cries of critics who said they were not given reasonable time to view the proposed legislation. The Senate passed the omnibus Thursday in a 68-29 vote, with 18 Republicans voting with Democrats on the package.

In this episode of The Bald Brad Show, President Donald Trump's tax returns are finally released. House Ways and Means Chair Richard Neal and ranking member Kevin Brady greet each other as they arrive for a committee meeting on Capitol Hill. | Francis Chung/POLITICO Former President Donald Trump repeatedly paid little or nothing in federal income taxes between 2015 and 2020 despite reporting millions in earnings. Documents released Tuesday night by House Democrats said Trump frequently made tens of millions of dollars annually during that period. But he was able to whittle away his tax bill by claiming steep business losses that offset that income. In 2016, he paid $750. The following year he again paid just $750. In 2020, he paid nothing. And though the IRS has a longstanding policy of automatically auditing every president, Democrats say the agency did not begin vetting Trump’s filings until they began asking about them in 2019. Furthermore, critics are howling at spending perks and rules littered throughout the $1.7 trillion “omnibus” bill meant to fund the federal government for another fiscal year. The legislation was unveiled in the Senate early Tuesday and boasts $858 billion in defense funding as well as $772.5 billion for non-defense “discretionary programs,” according to a summary. Time is of the essence as funding expires Friday at midnight, leaving some lawmakers to grumble while poring over the legislation that is more than 4,000 pages long.

In this episode of The Bald Brad Show, The Biden administration on Wednesday sued the state of Arizona over its construction of a makeshift border wall using shipping containers and razor wire in order to prevent the flow of illegal immigrants -- with the administration claiming the state is trespassing on federal lands. The lawsuit, filed in district court, says that the installation of multi-ton shipping containers, welded shut and topped with razor wire, "damage[s] federal lands, threaten[s] public safety, and impede[s the ability of federal agencies and officials, including law enforcement personnel, to perform their official duties." The lawsuit is the latest back-and-forth between Gov. Doug Ducey and the Biden administration’s over Ducey’s decision earlier this year to fill gaps in the border wall with shipping containers. The move was taken in response to the ongoing crisis at the border which saw more than 2.3 million migrant encounters along the border in FY 2022. Furthermore, Twitter influencers and politicians on both sides of the aisle have united in calls to "ban TikTok" after lawmakers proposed bipartisan legislation to stop the most popular app in the world from operating in the U.S.  Florida Senator Marco Rubio spearheaded the push to ban TikTok, arguing in a press statement Tuesday that the reasons to bar the app were easily apparent and widely agreed upon: "From the FBI Director to FCC Commissioners to cybersecurity experts, everyone has made clear the risk of TikTok being used to spy on Americans."  The legislation would effectively demonetize any app in China's orbit and is titled "Averting the National Threat of Internet Surveillance, Oppressive Censorship and Influence, and Algorithmic Learning by the Chinese Communist Party Act," or in short, the "ANTI-SOCIAL CCP Act."

The Biden administration is requesting billions in additional funding for the border as it predicts an enormous spike in migrant encounters when the Title 42 authority to quickly expel migrants due to the COVID-19 pandemic ends later this month. According to a congressional aide, the Biden administration is seeking $2 billion for additional funding for Customs and Border Protection (CBP) , as well as $2 billion for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). That request, Fox is told, is based off the Department of Homeland Security’s estimation of daily encounters once Title 42 is ended on Dec. 21. A court ordered the administration to stop using the authority -- which has been used since March 2020 to quickly return migrants to Mexico -- after finding it to be unlawful.

"For years, Twitter had resisted calls both internal and external to ban Trump on the grounds that blocking a world leader from the platform or removing their controversial tweets would hide important information that people should be able to see and debate," Bari Weiss of The Free Press wrote toward the beginning of her thread on Monday.
