Speaking with our new Cohost Sgt Janice Gonzales Moreno US Army. I wanted a combat female veteran that could relate to other combat soldiers but also female veterans.
Well, I got a whole lot more, Veteran that served in Afganistan,  Airborne that was chosen to jump at Normandy for the 75th anniversary of Normandy that her father had done for the 70th anniversary.  Her father was a 25 year veteran in the Army. Her two brothers are veterans, her husband and sister-in-law too.  She and one of her brother were born in Germany because her father was stationed there. Janice served with 4/25th ID.
My other cohost Ricky Cruz is also an army brat born in Germany. He and his father both served in the 25th ID as well.
Janice actually reup'd and ended jumping in the snow while stationed in Alaska where she met her husband.  Besides coaching her daughter little league team she's also the coed softball coach for her brothers organization Lone Star Warriors Outpost which is a softball organization for vets.
