6-Step Publicity Rockstar method to increase your audience and visibility.

PR is not just for big brands!

Simone Sauter, PR expert for Solopreneurs joins me this week on the podcast.

Key points include understanding the ideal client, pitching to the right platforms, creating compelling content, and leveraging media coverage for growth.

Top advice here is to make your pitch personal and offer value that will resonate with the podcast host or publication’s audience.

"You don't build relationships by just copy-pasting something. It's like with a friendship, you also don't make friends with a cookie-cutter strategy."

About Simone

Simone Sauter is a certified PR Consultant & Visibility Strategist, Publicity Rockstar™, and bestselling author. She teaches coaches and consultants how to get featured in prestigious magazines and podcast shows so they get seen, heard, and highly paid – without wasting time on social media or paying for ads and agencies. The beauty of her approach is that following her Publicity Rockstar™ Method, her clients get all they need to build an impactful brand: Visibility, Authority, Credibility, and Trust.

Simone has built a very successful coaching business herself solely by utilizing the power of the media and podcast shows. She has been featured in media outlets such as Cosmopolitan, Instyle, and Closer, shared her story on countless podcast and TV shows, built a blog with 100,000+ monthly organic readers, and created an advertising value of more than 3 million euro in just 18 months.

Besides that, she is a certified PR Consultant with two decades of experience in the media and PR world. Before her entrepreneurial journey began in 2014, she worked as a journalist and PR manager for several Fortune 500 companies.

In this week's episode, I'm chatting with Helen Calvert, host of The No Bullsh*t guide to happiness.

Helen has been a guest before back in May 2022 and it's no secret that I LOVE Helen's podcast so it's lovely to be chatting with her again, seeing how she is doing with her podcast and her business.

Helen has published a book since we last spoke (in October 2022 and yes I have a copy!) The book is very much based on the first series of the podcast which as Helen explains contains, "crucial elements of being a business owner and having a happier life."

Helen and I also chat about audience engagement, podcast growth over the past 12-18 months, show notes, reviews(take note podcast apps!!), and how the podcast supports Helen's business.

A top tip that we touch on is the importance of reaching out to others and how your network and community can contribute to your podcast's success.

About Helen

Helen Calvert is The No Bullsh*t Coach who has been running the successful business support agency Clear Day since 2018. A divorced mum of two boys, Helen has twenty years of experience in admin and organisation, and also, knows well the personal challenges of anxiety, family health problems and just trying to get it all done! She qualified as a life coach in 2020 and her passion is in helping women to treat themselves with excessive kindness as the best strategy for gaining confidence and making progress.

Her podcast gets around 7,000 downloads per month and includes all of her no-bullsh*t tips for a happier life. It has proven so popular that Helen has turned the first series into a book which was published in October 2022.

In this week's episode, I'm chatting with Ashleigh Frater, Anxiety Coach for Founders and Freelancers.

Ashleigh shares her experience as a podcast host and her advice on 'feeling productive.'

We had such a great conversation about Asheligh's podcasting, and she made some brilliant observations about how she needs to build in more time to record as she knows there's an emotional toll due to the nature of the subject.

Promotion is one area Ashleigh said that she struggled with, and this is something I hear a lot of podcasters say.

Here are some things to keep in mind:

  • What's your version of success for your podcast? Not just the numbers
  • Finding unique ways to promote each episode on social media
  • Repurposing your content
  • Remembering it takes time to build an audience
  • Avoid "should" thinking
  • Be yourself

Ashleigh shared her advice on productivity and what it means to us individually. We only need to understand what our version of productive is and it boils down to how we feel.

  1. Labelling your emotion and removing the word productive.
  2. What does it contribute to? What are your overall goals?
  3. Celebrate your wins!

About my guest

Ashleigh Frater, is an anxiety coach and founder of ‘in good hands’ coaching and counselling practice, based in London, dedicated to guiding high-achieving female founders process anxiety (and stress) quicker, better and safely so they can perform at their best. With a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by ambitious women, Ashleigh brings her expertise to the forefront, guiding women on a transformative journey towards mental resilience, self-assurance and professional success.

Hi there! I'm chatting with Ida Radovanovic from Playground in this week's episode.

Ida called her business a Playground to keep reminding herself how she wanted to see work.

After 12+ years of career at a corporation, Ida is now proudly a solopreneur. She blends gamification, accountability buddies and research-based productivity tips to help people work on what is meaningful to them and spark closeness. It's an unusual, but powerful mix vs. procrastination.

If you are tired of procrastination games ;) and want a more creative way to get stuff done, feel free to connect with Ida and say hi.

Ida shares her top 4 tips for overcoming procrastination:

  1. If you don't know where to start, start with something small and specific. Something that you can clearly mark off as complete.
  2. Use a planning system. Ida recommends WOOP and Backwards goal planning.
  3. Try to work with less perfectionism and be kind to yourself. "80% done is good enough!"
  4. Remind yourself that you are part of a community or get yourself an accountability buddy.

Ida has Tip number 5 for you to download here.

In this week's episode, I'm chatting with my friend Sarah McDowell, SEO Manager at Captivate and podcaster!

Sarah has worked in Digital Marketing and SEO for over 10 years now, both in-house for a brand/company and agency side.

Sarah's current podcast is The SEO Mindset Podcast which she co-hosts with Tazmin Suleman. Sarah has hosted 4 podcasts in total over the years!

She is also co-founder (alongside me!) of the West Midlands Podcast Club. A free podcast community for podcasters passionate about podcasting!

You can sign up here!

Sarah tells us what SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) is and shares her top 3 tips to optimise our podcasts so that they are more discoverable.

Tip #1 - Keywords

  • Use a keyword tool like SEMRUSH, Answer the public or Also Asked.
  • use these tools when planning your episodes.
  • DO NOT keyword stuff your show notes and titles - it doesn't help anyone!!

Tip#2 - Backlinks

  • This is when someone external links back to your website.
  • backlinks are very helpful for Google as they help make you a credible source.

Tip#3 - Transcripts

  • Using transcripts helps make your podcast more accessible for everyone - including Google.
  • Edit your transcript, and remove filler words to make it more accessible.
  • Recommended podcast episode about accessibility. How To Make Your Content More Accessible with Anne Mok

Sarah's final thought is, don't be scared by podcast SEO and she recommends giving some of the tips she's given a try!

Thanks Sarah! 😃

In this week's episode, I'm joined by Emma Fishlock, founder of RWC (Real World Consultancy.)

Emma founded Real World Consultancy(RWC) in 2018 to help small businesses overcome barriers to growth.

RWC is now a multi-award-winning business coaching company based in the west midlands helping small and micro businesses to thrive and punch above their weight. RWC has created a coaching and support method that has now helped more than 500 business owners, the company is also launching a new arm of the business in 2024 as a training academy for business coaches.

"We are known for our fun, ‘real’, and engaging approach to business, and I'm

proud of that.”

Our conversation is centred around the importance of authenticity, finding what makes you unique and making a podcast that is targeted to your audience.

Emma offers up some great advice, here are the top takeaways for the episode:

  • It takes time to find your voice. There's trial and error here.
  • Be brave enough to niche.

Welcome back to Season 2 of the podcast!

This week Hilary Salzman joins me to chat all things storytelling.

We chat about how storytelling isn't a new concept, we've been doing it all our lives! But it is easy to get caught up in the latest shiny marketing thing and get overwhelmed as business owners.

Hilary is the host of The Everyday Storyteller podcast, and she shares her experience on why she decided to start a podcast, how she went about it and how it works for her business.

Hilary shares her top 5 tips for using storytelling in your podcast:

  1. Figure out your story first. Be honest and embrace it with confidence.
  2. Think about your audience on a deeper level - what do they care about? What problem are they trying to solve?
  3. Be authentic
  4. Find common ground with your audience and tell stories that highlight shared experiences.
  5. Tell your story with confidence and use a platform that invites others to tell theirs.
  6. Bonus tip: Have fun with it!

I'll leave you with a fun fact, "Stories are 22 times more memorable than facts & figures."

Have fun crafting your stories.

About Hilary

Hilary Salzman, the founder of 22 Stories and host of The Everyday Storyteller podcast firmly believes in storytelling and its power to connect us to the things and people that make a difference.

Hilary is dedicated to helping those who struggle to confidently use their voices. She works with bright business sparks and independent brand owners to get their stories out and grow their business.

Hilary shares a wealth of business storytelling insights and guidance through her daily podcast and Instagram account. She is keen to ensure as many people as possible can access the tools and learn to develop their voice, regardless of their background or how much money they have to spend.

In this week's episode, I welcome back Hannah McCormick from Showing Up Solo.

We talk about how to repurpose your podcast so that you can get the most possible out of the content you've created.

Hannah shares her Full Circle Content method with us, which is all about breaking down your content into manageable bite-sized chunks to be used across all social media and email marketing platforms.

Some of the social media scheduling platforms we mention in the episode are:

  • Meet Edgar
  • Buffer
  • Later
  • And the gamechanger that is being able to schedule directly in the LinkedIn platform 🎉

Hannah shares that her favourite site to help with content ideas is Answerthepublic.com

Hannah's final tip is to make sure that when you answer your audience's questions, don't assume they know as much as you.

Break down that explanation fully.

Hannah's Full Circle Content is FREE for you to download! it includes 3 hours of video training. You can get that here.

About Hannah:

Showing Up Solo started as a way to make marketing more accessible to solopreneurs. Along with business bestie, Nicole, I launched our video podcast in January 2022. Now over 30 episodes in, I'm taking it to the next level by offering 1:1 marketing coaching!

If you're an online service provider (or want to be one!) but... you're not sure how to find clients online, don't feel quite ready to hit "publish" on your website or don't have a clue where to begin with making a content plan... I can help!

My Set Up For Success program covers all the elements of a comprehensive marketing plan and can be taken as one 6-month intensive or broken up into smaller, self-paced chunks. Head to showingupsolo.com to learn more.

I chat with Nic Redman about your voice in this week's episode!

Nic is a voice coach and helps podcasters get their voices ready to record.

Nic shares that it's about prepping your voice so you don't have to think about it whilst you're recording.

The exercises that she recommends (and are featured in her book "On the Mic") can help overcome the barriers and hang-ups we all have about our voices.

Nic is a big advocate of warming up your voice and is great for regulating your breath, releasing tension and helping with nerves that can affect your speech.

It's not about changing your accent or the way you talk but making your voice and speech sound the best they can be.

I find the whole thing rather fascinating and am surprised I haven't heard more about this in the podcasting space.

About Nic

Nic Redman has recorded and spoken for a living for nearly 20 years and coaches people to feel vocally free and at home on the mic, every day. She has been featured multiple times on BBC and Times Radio as well as in The Guardian, Irish Times and the Metro.

Nic coaches 1-2-1, and runs residential retreats, online courses and in-person masterclasses. She often guests on podcasts, speaks at conferences and speaks on panels offering insights into spoken voice training and recording for voiceover, podcasting, business and public speaking.

Nic is co-host of the award-winning Voiceover Social Podcast and creator of the 5* Voice Coach Podcast.

This week on the show is Sarah Giffrow, sharing with us the lessons she learnt when she started a podcast in 2020.

Here are the things she learnt:

Be realistic with your time and consider what's happening in your life now.

Perfectionism holds you back.

Don't get caught up with the sound of your own voice!

PRO TIP: Try listening back to yourself every day to get used to the sound of your voice. Remember to be kind - NO JUDGEMENT!

There's a learning curve with new tech, especially editing tools.

PRO TIP: Do your own research and experiment with different tools to see which work for you best.

It might help to listen to a past episode I recorded about How to publish your podcast Just to get you started with your research!

Keep the format simple and let the conversation flow.

"Comparison is the road to abandoned projects." Sarah is 100% right here!

The comparison game is one I struggle with too and it DOES NOT HELP!!

Thanks, Sarah for sharing your experience!

About My Guest

Sarah’s path was set in the days of the Old Internet--she was raised in an unusually tech-savvy household, and she hand-coded her very first webpage in 1995.

Her online marketing studio, Upswept Creative, was born out of her side hustle as a photographer, where she often found herself seized by the irrepressible urge to help her photography clients improve their websites.

In her spare time, she can be found lifting heavy barbells, refereeing roller derby, cuddling her spicy meatball of a toddler, and giving all the pets to her extremely food-motivated tuxedo cat, Zergling.

Welcome to episode 41!

This week I chat with Nikki, the host of the Stories that Connect Us podcast.

Nikki started her podcast in March 2022 (like me!) and she shares with us her journey to creating her podcast.

We chat about why Nikki wanted to start a podcast, her love of audio, how she leapt into starting her podcast, managing success, how she handled the tech side, and podcast promotion.

Nikki's top piece of advice for those of you looking to start is to take messy action.

I LOVE this!

"Life is not neat and in boxes. It is not highs and no lows. It is messy at times. And so I would say, let's get messy with our action and we will learn and grow along the way."

This really resonated with me, sometimes I feel frozen to act because I'm going to do something 'wrong' and I should know everything.

Messy Action perfectly describes how we can move forward, dropping all the perfectionism ideas and accepting that life's just not like that.

Thanks so much, Nikki for coming on and sharing with us.

About Nikki

Nikki is a storyteller and podcast host of Stories That Connect Us, in each episode she looks at the highs, lows and messy middle of life. The show was launched in Mar 2022 with a mission to unite people through the power of storytelling. Everyone has a story. Our stories matter. The hope is that people feel connected through the stories shared and can listen, learn, and be inspired.

As a Certified Breath Coach, Nikki wants to give people back the gift of breath, something that can be in the back pocket when there’s a need to find balance or stillness. She aims to help people unlock and optimise their breathing. Busy, stressed, anxious and tired but wired - breath coaching can help manage the struggles of modern-day living.

This week is a special week for me and the podcast as it marks

my one year anniversary!

I’m very proud to have been going for 12 months!

One of my biggest takeaways from the last 12 months has been

the importance of letting your podcast evolve with you the more experience you get.

There’s nothing wrong with hitting pause or taking a break

to work things out. This will allow you to keep consistent and keep going with

your pod!

Going forward this podcast will be coming to you every other

week with a new guest. I really enjoy the interaction with my guests which is

why I want to make guests a regular thing.

I’ll be chatting with lots of different podcast hosts and experts to give you lots of advice and tips around podcasting which you can go on to use for your own podcast.

I’d love you to join my email list where you get Weekly Podcast Love letting you know when a new episode is out, any exciting news, what I’m up to and recommendations for other podcasts I think you might enjoy!

I’m also excited to announce that along with my friend Sarah McDowell, we’ll be launching a new podcast community called West Midlands Podcast Club.

We met at some awards drinks before Christmas and nerded out

about our love for podcasting. We then got the idea to create a place for local

(and not so local!) podcasters to come together to share ideas, knowledge and build friendships.

It’s for all podcasters – aspiring new and established. Everyone is welcome ☺️

I’ll give you more detail when it’s all ready to go!

Listener Shout Out!

Hannah & Nicole from the Showing Up Solo Podcast.

Nikki St Paul from the Stories that Connect us Podcast.

Thank you for all your support, it’s greatly appreciated.

Find their podcasts in the link below, I would highly recommend

both for a listen!

Hello 2023!

I'm starting this year off with a brilliant chat with Devin Lee (Certified Online Business Manager and Certified Dubsado Specialist)

I wanted Devin to come on and talk to you guys because she has been featured on quite a lot of different podcasts talking about her zone of genius and it got me thinking about how it's a great way to create more visibility in your business as you're getting in front of their audiences.

I thought it might be quite a good strategy for someone who is thinking about starting a podcast and either might not have time to create the podcast themselves at the moment or would just kind of like to see whether they enjoy podcasting.

We chat about why Devin wanted to guest on different podcasts and I love how she uses it to build her network and relationships.

Devin shares her advice on how she started researching which podcasts to go on and setting goals based on how many pitches she wanted to do per month/quarter.

Devin's biggest learn from her experience is how you need to give it some time and the process will start to feel a lot easier!

To finish up, Devin shares about her upcoming Quarterly Planning Party.

I took part in the first round of this and thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

If you have some projects (like a podcast) that you need to get off the ground and plan then this may be the accountability you need!

About my guest!

Devin Lee, an entrepreneur since the age of 27, is a self-proclaimed “fun big sis for your biz”. Officially, she is a Certified Online Business Manager and Certified Dubsado Specialist. She specializes in helping you get your time + energy back by perfecting your clients’ journey and putting it on autopilot.

Unofficially, she is the high-energy hype woman who’ll bring a calm oasis to your business. When she isn’t creating exceptional client experiences, you can find her studying the Enneagram, roller skating, and chasing the sun.

In this week's episode, I'm talking about the results from my experiment to post natively on social media (LinkedIn & Instagram)

You may remember last month when I decided to post natively for 4 weeks to see if there was any difference in my engagement on LinkedIn and Instagram as opposed to scheduling using a 3rd party tool which may offend the Algorithm Gods.

What did I find?

Linkedin [1.00 min]

When comparing October's scheduled posts and November's native posts, there isn't much difference.

I did get more video engagement posting natively, but impressions-wise, the months were very similar.

I have been engaging with the platform much more recently so I think that has a lot to do with it.

Instagram [5.00 min]

The results are a bit mixed!

I've doubled my reach but halved my engagement!

The reach has expanded because I've been posting more stories and reels.

My Take Away [9.27min]

Not forgetting to do that all-important engagement piece. And not just with your current audience, finding new people to genuinely connect with and start building those relationships with.

I personally don't feel that posting natively or scheduling makes a lot of difference!

In this week's episode, I'm talking about Video podcasts! I'm not here to tell you should/shouldn't be doing a video podcast! It's a personal decision as to which you prefer but I'd like to talk about them and look at some benefits that could come out of using video for your podcast. YouTube as a search engine - a popular choice Increase your SEO and reach if you put it on as many platforms as possible. Spotify - can upload videos to this platform now. Will play the video only on Spotify and send the audio to the other platforms. One of my clients does this. Shout out to Hannah & Nicole from Showing Up Solo. Some of you may remember them coming on the show to offer insights into what it's like to set up a podcast. If you're a solopreneur looking for help with your marketing then I strongly recommend you check them out. You can get some great video clips to use to promote your podcast. These work well, like audiograms. You can even turn the clips into reels which get really good reach on Instagram. Your audience gets to put a face to the name! Video doesn't work so well if you're not great on camera. If it makes you feel uncomfortable and less likely to show up then don't put that added pressure on yourself. I prefer to record just the audio for my podcast. I can show up on video but it's something I struggle with and could become a barrier for me. You need to make your podcast work for you, if that's video great, and if it's audio, that's great too! If you have any questions or would like some help with your podcast, you can book a https://calendly.com/rachaelbotfieldva/podcast-chat (30-min Free Session) with me. Can I ask a favour? In this week's episode, I'm talking about how do I know if my podcast is a success? There are many ways in which you can measure the success of your podcast. Number of Listens Number of downloads You can find this information easily within the platform you use to publish your episodes. You can also go into individual platforms like Apple Podcasts to find out analytics. It's not just about the numbers. Think back to why you started your podcast... Was it simply to have 1000 downloads a week? Or was it to add value to your audience? or to build your authority in your zone of genius? If you're not happy with the size of your listenership, what can you do to grow it? Here are a few tips: Ensure your episode content is something that your ideal listener wants to hear. Are you promoting it enough? Make sure you have a range of posts and utilise your email list and website so everyone knows about your podcast! Are you engaging with your listeners? do you reply to comments and thank people for reviews? Do they know where to leave a review? Can you offer more support to your listeners like a Facebook group? you could encourage listeners into the group to discuss the episodes, or go live to answer their questions. Don't be disheartened. It takes time to grow an audience and podcasting is a long game. Be consistent and committed. I hope this has helped. If you'd like to ask any questions, get some advice or just chat podcasts you're more than welcome to book a call! This week I welcome Janet Murray to the show! We had such a great conversation! Janet shares with us what she does, why she decided to start a podcast [1.26 min], the planning process she went through, and how her experience as a journalist helped her with this process. She stresses the importance of creating content for your audience. Who would they really want to hear from? What would they find useful [6.39 min] We talk about Janet's target audience and how it's not just about the 'traditional' demographics, for example, age, gender, and job title. That you need to look beyond those and think about the feeling you want to create with your audience. [10.01 min] How her podcasts and knowledge have evolved over the years [14.22 min] and breaking down the preconceptions around podcasting that can put up barriers to starting. [18.33 min] Janets shares that the best piece of advice she's been given was to start with a series of episodes on a particular topic as opposed to setting out to podcast 'forever'! [23.54 min] The importance of creating excitement around your podcast before launching [29.04 min] and experimenting with your social media content to compare engagement/reach of posts. Janet's love/hate relationship with Audiograms! [35.06min] Interesting to get her perspective on this. Tips and advice for those of you that have a podcast but are feeling stuck. [40.51] Thanks so much to Janet for coming on and sharing her knowledge.

In this week's episode, I'm talking about if you're ready to outsource your podcast. If you already have a podcast, you'll know that it is quite a commitment. There are a lot of moving pieces that you need to keep up with to get your episodes out there on a weekly or bi-weekly, or monthly basis. Let's break down all the moving parts: Recording the episodes Guests - research and scheduling Editing Writing show notes Uploading Promoting - creating the content around the episodes, for example, a variety of posts, email marketing and updating your website. Not forgetting to repurpose and keep promoting all the episodes you've previously released. And you know, this all takes time it takes time to do We're all so busy! Especially if you're doing a podcast, you're handling all the things yourself as well as your business and your personal life. It can feel a bit much and can get a bit overwhelming. And outsourcing can really help relieve that pressure. I'm a podcast manager and my aim is to take those pieces off you and do them for you, which will create more time in your life for your work, your clients or your family life. You can send me the recording and I'll do the rest! So if this sounds like you, take a bit of time to reassess. How much time are you spending on all the tasks? Are you comfortable handing them off? Maybe you don't need to outsource all of it, maybe just the editing and show notes or the promotion side of things. If you're stuck or would like to run your plan past someone then I'm here! happy to chat and offer some guidance to you. You can book a coffee chat with the link in the show notes. In this week's episode, I'm talking about why podcasts are great for your business. A key point is that you can build authority in your zone of genius - you do this by creating content that you know will resonate with them. It gives your potential clients a chance to get to know you better and will help them decide whether they want to work with you. They are a way to create engagement with your listeners and expand your community. They compliment your marketing overall. Your podcast is part of it, not a separate entity. You can utilise your content and repurpose it into other forms like blogs, email marketing, social media posts, audio and visual clips. Make sure you put them on your website, this will help increase SEO. You will drive more traffic to your website so people can see how awesome you are! Welcome back after my little summer break! In this week's episode, I'm talking about launching your podcast. If you're ready to launch then you will have done all your planning and prep beforehand. if you're listening to this and you're not quite ready to launch then take a look at some of my previous episodes to help you on your way. Once you have a launch date, work backwards to plan your marketing campaign. Plan a mixture of posts : - audiograms/video clips of you have them, trailer. - Record a video (if you're comfortable) announcing your podcast or go live on Instagram or FaceBook. - Use your podcast branding and design some graphics in Canva - Pick some quotes from your episodes that will resonate with your audience. I'd recommend using a social media scheduler to do this. I use a mixture of Meta Business suite for Instagram & FaceBook and Buffer. Email List - if you have one, utilise it! Keep your audience up to date. Basically, tell everyone about your upcoming podcast! Launching with 3 episodes and a trailer: I've done some research on this and there are some valuable points for and against it. You could launch with your trailer (released before) and 3 episodes. This way once people are listening and they love it, they can binge a few episodes. This is how I chose to launch this podcast. Top tip: Don't forget to do is promote the episodes that are launched altogether. You could tease some of the clips as part of your pre-launch promotion. OR you can launch with a trailer and 1 episode. I did this for my first podcast, The Virtually Inspiring podcast. Throw a virtual launch party! I've not done this but know a few people who have done this. It can be a great way to get everyone excited about the podcast. If you have phone numbers then you can create a Whatsapp group and get everyone involved this way. Shout out to https://www.spreaker.com/show/hr-directors-cut (HR Directors Cut) as this was their strategy. Make sure you keep up engaging with your audience throughout, reply to comments/ DMs/Emails If you have any questions or would like some help with your podcast, you can book a https://calendly.com/rachaelbotfieldva/podcast-chat (30-min Free Session) with me. In this week's episode, I'm talking about Podfade! What it is and helpful tips on how to prevent it. Podfade is when you fade away from your podcast!! Why does it happen? [1.11 min] You get super busy in your biz Overwhelm A personal event in your life Fall out of love with it

Don't worry! Here are some things you can do to prevent it: [2.02 min] Make the podcast fit your schedule. Planning [5.00 min] Schedule a time to flesh out your episodes, book guests, schedule time to edit and do show notes etc.

For me blocking the time out in your diary really helps. If you outsource - make sure you have a plan with your manager. Is it clear who's doing what for what date? You can use a project management tool for this. (Link Trello / Asana) [7.15 min] https://asana.com/uses/project-management (Asana Project Management Software - Online Tools, Templates & App • Asana) - Project management software that you can use yourself or with team members for your podcast processes. https://trello.com/en (Trello | Manage Your Team’s Projects From Anywhere) - You can use a project management tool for yourself or collaboration for your podcast.

Important - let your audience know what's going on! we're all human, people get it. Communicate that to them instead of just dropping off the face of the earth!! Can I ask a favour? Once a month I’ll be joined by other female podcasters. They’ll share their journey with you and offer tips and advice they discovered on the way.
