What started as a dream to play in the NBA turned into getting drafted to a little-known city in Wisconsin and starting with a Bucks team at the bottom of the league standings eight years ago. Since then, Giannis has developed into the two-time league's Most Valuable Player, reigning Defensive Player of the Year, and now, an NBA Finals Champion and Finals Most Valuable Player. To add to Giannis' incredible story, he did this all with the man that was by his side when the team was at its worst: Khris Middleton, a man that will be known as a Bucks great for years to come. While there's so much to talk about when it comes to Giannis, today we cover his success, story, upbringing, how much this city loves him, and what he's done for this team. Hello listeners! My name is Calvin Bush, and I am an aspiring sports journalist. I'm excited to be starting a new sports podcast/vlog! Though I've worked in radio and television in sports for almost six years, this is my first time working on a podcast, but I am thrilled to bring new content forward in the world of sports. This first episode is just an introduction to the series, a short overview of the thought process behind the podcast, potential ideas and goals moving forward, and a brief discussion about the recent success of the Milwaukee Brewers, and a preview of the NBA Finals between the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks. With this being the first-ever episode of its kind, I welcome and encourage all comments, feedback, or opinions and sincerely appreciate some love by dropping a like and giving the episode a share.
