For my plant based homies...hear me out.
In this episode, I share why I'm exploring bringing meat back into my diet. I'm always striving to live my life with integrity and make intentional, informed decisions throughout my life.
I've absolutely loved being apart of the fully plant based community and have grown incredibly because of that change. They will always have a place in my heart.
But I'm constantly exploring. Constantly seeking truths. My truths. Listening to my body, following my intuition, hearing others and more importantly, being open to being "wrong".
Now, I want to make this very clear...this is not a knock on the plant based life style. When you listen you'll understand why. We all have a unique journey. A unique background. A unique blood type.
Everyone is different.
All I ask when you listen to this is to have an open mind. Feel my heart as I speak, and reflect on what feels right for you.

I've found that a lot of information regarding our blood types in "Eat Right 4 Your Type" by Dr. Peter J D'Adamo rings true for me. I plan on exploring it further.
Stay tuned for future episode about my exploration into these new dietary choices, and as you listen, pay attention to if any of this rings true to you. It's fascinating

This topic was inspired by looking at a photo of myself at one of my darkest times, and now I've hung that photo up and express gratitude towards that boy every morning. It's time to love ourselves again.

In this episode, we start with a guided breath of fire practice. Then share some updates like "The Vampire Next Door" has officially wrapped production and is now in post. Exciting times ahead.
Then, we get into why I started this breathwork journey. Why I'm taking a breathwork certification course, and what was going through my mind as I guided my first transformational breathwork journey.

In this episode, we start with a little 4-2-6 breathing, then share some of my upcoming acting goals for the next few months, and then, inspired by Charlie Chaplin, dive into the power of storytelling without words. I think this is a great time to reflect on how we all carry ourselves throughout this word. What story are we telling without words? We may catch things we do that we aren't even aware of. That's the start of a beautiful journey.

In this episode, there's this transitional time into Spring and I've seen and felt a lot of sickness in the air. I'm going through my fair share and I want to share with you some tools, foods, and practices I use to help speed up that recovery time. Getting sick is quite the wake up call and I really do realize that if we lose our health, that really becomes the only thing that's important. So, it's time to take care of this beautiful body.

In today's episode, we share a new Breathhold PR!! 5:16 baby! What a wild ride, man and i share what that experience was like.
Then we dive into messy action. Stripping away the idea of perfectionism and taking messy action gets us in the game. When we wait for it to be perfect, we step out of the game. When we dive in, it's gonna be messy, and imperfect, and maybe ugly, but guess what...we grow. We learn. We adapt. And THAT is where the magic lies.
So take messy action. Dive in. If there are things you've been holding off on, this is a friendly reminder to just go. Just start. Surround yourself with a strong support system, and as you continue to stay with it, the growth will blow your mind.

This episode, I am bubbling with Gratitude. As an actor, I hope to reach other actors and creatives through this platform. This episode specifically, I hope, is relatable for them, for you, and I hope you take something positive away from this. I had a beautiful experience on a set this week, on a project i'm really excited to share when it comes out, and I thought it would be cool to share my process, my intentions and what I've learned from being on sets, and the growth and learning never stops.
If you have experiences on set, I'd love to hear your perspectives or stories. Let's get the dialogue flowing.

In this episode, we give some fun lil life updates in the world of Andrew and the acting and breathwork world. Then we dive into the stories about giving and receiving. We are meaning making machines. We label things as good and bad. For many of us, I'm sure we look at "receiving" as a negative. Like we are "taking"...and taking is "bad". But we talk about the Yin and the Yang. The good and the bad in everything. Our labels are just stories that we've created in our minds. It doesn't mean that they are truth. And hopefully after listening to this episode, we can start to reflect on our stories and create some big changes, and start to see the value in receiving.

In this episode, we share some vulnerability and struggle and how I shift my mindset and perspective in those times of struggle reinforcing all those old stories and beliefs.
Then we dive into all things introvert and extravert. My perspective and my stories with these labels and identities.

In this episode, we start off with the specific breathwork practice I used to prep for a new Breath hold PR of 4:43!! The stoke was so real y'all.
Then we dive into depression. Now, this topic cannot be defined in one sentence, or even in a few. There are wayyy too many variables that accumulate that lead individuals into the depths of depression. And that can look different for each individual. What I want to highlight with this episode is that Yes, it is "mental" health.
BUT, depression is also incredibly PHYSICAL.
Tune in to hear how.

In this episode, we dive start with a specific parasympathetic breathwork. An update on my 5 Day Breathwork Challenge and the things I learned. The start of my emotional intelligence course (Two Years to Live Challenge). And then we dive into the spiritual ego and spiritual bypassing. This episode will be relevant for my frands who are doing the deep work. Sometimes we go so deep and then we find the spiritual ego start to find it's voice. In this episode, we identify what that looks like, and how to love all parts of our human experience.

If you're into a good TV binge and have Hulu, check out "Under The Banner Of Heaven" starring Andrew Garfield, Daisy Edgar Jones, and Sam Worthington. Loosely based on the true story of the Lafferty's and the Mormon religion, it's needless to say, it's a show that sparks a lot of conversation. I'm still processing it and my thoughts are still a little jumbled, so if you listen to this and have seen the show, reach out because I'd love to hear more perspectives on the matter and what came up for you as you watched this.

One of the Most POWERFUL exercises I've ever had the privilege of engaging in.
Saturday night, I devoted my night to Brian Kelly's 9D Breathwork Journey and.....words really don't do it justice, but in this episode I will share with you how this breathwork exercise moved me in ways that very few experiences have.
Also, lil update, but Sunday morning I clocked a new Breathhold PR of 3:53 ! Our bodies are pretty amazing.

In this episode we start off with parasympathetic Breathing and a little breakthrough I've had in this specific style of breathwork.
Then we dive into the art and power of Listening. What can happen when we truly listen? When we create and hold a safe space for important people in our lives. It's a skill. It takes practice. But the better we get, the more magnetic we become.

In this episode, we start with a few life updates, then dive into Communication. What's the point of language? Why do we communicate? I think that's a question we've stopped asking. It's easy to get stuck talking and communicating the way we've always done, but I think it's important to go back to our roots. Why did we create language in the first place? To get 2+ people on the same page. I think with time we may be getting away from that simple truth.
Tune in for stories and more ideas on this matter.

We got Becky Larkin back on the podddd!
Today we dive into our relationships with growth and the journey of the ups and downs, highs and lows, peaks and valleys.
The journey of growth is a beautiful one. After listening to this episode, we recommend taking a moment to sit down and journal and reflect on your relationship with growth in the past. On moments when the highs felt amazing then the lows swiftly followed. It's never a linear line...growth....success. When we acknowledge the lows, accept it and embrace it, then it propels us faster to that next high.

This episode is inspired by the pursuit to stick with our New Year Resolutions. A mindset shift to focus on building structures and finding consistency in growth and pursuit of these resolutions, over the intensity, volume and output of them.

In this episode, I share some practices and some connections I've made that have excited me to go after this pursuit. Is it possible? Maybe. Certainly not overnight. But with intention, practice, and a growth mindset, I really do believe we can do anything. And in this episode you will see that our bodies are truly capable of so much more than we think.

First episode of 2023 baby!!
What do we want our year to look like?
I have some ideas to keep this train moving for this podcast, but again, it's mostly going to be fueled by sparks of inspiration that lead me to want to share about it. I'm excited to keep using this medium to share a bit about myself and about the things I'm passionate about.
I also get a little personal and share a bit of what I'm going to be focusing on come 2023. I can get a lot more specific on here, but it's just a general idea and I plan on filling in the gaps over the course of this year.
Cheers to a new adventure! Cheers to growth! Cheers to 2023!

This episode, is centered around reflecting and dreaming.
Get in a cozy space, grab your journal with your favorite pen, and journal along with this episode. We start with reflecting on 2023. Pause the audio, and start writing. Let it rip!
Next, it's time to dream. What does the best year of your life look like? Let it rip! Don't hold back. Allow yourself permission to DREAM. Then get specific with your values and goals for how you want to show up in this new, beautiful year.
We are the CREATORS of our Lives.

I had a plan to talk about Communication for this episode, but during the meditation I decided to take a different route.
Jonah Hill dropped a pretty awesome documentary on Netflix called "Stutz", where he interviews his therapist. I think it's an important piece of work and to open up and normalize therapy and also give viewers active tools to practice in their everyday life.

With the New Year rapidly approaching, I think it's important to take some time to reflect.
Who am I? How do others perceive me? And who do I want to be?
We are entering the season of resolution, where we strive to become the new, best version of ourselves. What does that look like?
Once we get nitty gritty with it, we can start living with integrity. And once you get a taste, you'll never want to go back.
I also share some thoughts on the devastating news of tWitch passiing. Sending love, love and more love.

-Table read for Laramie Project
-Finishing "The Ride of a Lifetime"/reflection
-Upcoming Premiere for NYU Grad Program short
-Interesting discovery with "WHOOP"
-The power of community
For the rest of this episode, I share a story. A moment in time I experienced. I went down a rabbit hole yesterday reflecting on life. The meaning of it all. Consumerism. Happiness. Why are we here. All of those goodie lil questions I allow myself the grace to explore.
Let me know if you relate or connect.

Another gem from James Redfields, "Celestine Prophecy"
I still believe we are in a transition...an age of transformation. It's easy to get lost along that journey, but this episode dives into the importance of focusing on the right questions versus the answers.

I think we just hit episode 50 baby!!! Time is surely flying.
I was inspired to talk about this topic when I watched "Wednesday", the awesome new show on Netflix starring Jenna Ortega. I started watching the day it was released and it was a lot of fun. The following days, I saw all the buzz on socials. And there was one scene in particular that was being shared a lot. And it was one of my favorite scenes (and clearly the rest of the audiences). It was also one of my favorites because I wasn't expecting it. Had I scene those clips before I watched that show...I think it would have stripped away the magic a bit.
That's just one example, but I think if we can let go of control, and allow the possibility of something new and unknown, surprise us...I think we can bring some magic back into our lives.
One love.
I believe that we are in a season of change...of transformation. I dive deeper into the idea of change in one of my earlier episodes. For this episode, I want to share something I'm looking to change. I want to hold myself accountable. I talk about the narratives that I have that make this change so challenging. Fighting to live in alignment isn't easy. Fighting to be the best version of ourselves isn't easy. Fighting any fight...isn't easy. And it also can't be done alone.
My mom likes to say, "When the student is ready, the master will appear".
It starts with awareness, then making the decision. And I believe when we open ourselves up to really committing to this transformation, we open ourselves up to the guidance that is going to help us get there.
Heres to change!
One love.
Growing up, and even still today, I feel like the idea of being "smart" is very black or white. You either are...or you are not smart. And I just don't think it's that simple.
I feel there was a danger with labeling someone as smart in the education setting, which is a specific kind of smart. While you may not be "book smart", there are other areas where you may find passion and become incredibly "smart" in that field.
But the danger is being labeled as "not smart" so then you carry that story and that narrative with you for a very long time.
Do you relate?

When we talk about "doing the work", a lot of that is referring to "shadow work".
Our personality is really all the personality traits we express to the public, but do we show everyone everything? Usually not. That's the "shadow self".
The shadow self is a beast that we wouldn't dare show others, and honestly, not even show ourselves. Doing the work is shining a light on that shadow and really understanding them.
In this episode, we dive into how we can do that.

Being a bystander kinda sucks, right?
This idea popped into my awareness when at the gym, watching some individuals pushing heavy weights with little focus on form. Do I intervene? Or let them continue?
I get this same feeling when at the grocery store seeing people with full grocery carts of processed foods.
Or also when I'm around someone who is self depracating and putting themselves down.
It's hard to sit there and watch, but it's a different kind of hard to go and stand up and try to lend an ear.
It's a tricky thing and I just wanted to share my feelings on it.

Wisdom from one of my absolute FAVORITE books, "The Celestine Prophecy" by James Redfield. Stay tuned for more quotes from this book, but for this episode we dive into power dynamics. Seeing them play out in conversations around us and the ones we have ourselves with others. In diving into this, I found myself coming back to compassion and understanding how these dynamics are really passed down generationally. Start paying attention. It's pretty interesting.

This topic inherently creates division just thinking about it. I want to create a space where I share my views and my experiences with my relationship with religion. I'm sure it's going to change over the years as I get more life under my belt. I want to move throughout this world with an open mind and not judge someone for their beliefs, but get curious and create space as to understand why someone believes what they do. And who knows...maybe they'll start questioning their beliefs in a safe space for the first time.
One love.
I am endlessly fascinated by people. Who they are, why they do what they do and being curious about what their truth actually is. It's so so so easy to judge someone on an action, because, well, people are genuinely defined by their actions. But there is ALWAYS a reason behind it, that if we hold space to try to understand, can start a beautiful healing process.

"The Art of Non-Action" or the art of "Nonforcing" or "Noncontrivance"
In this episode, I share a little bit from Charles Eisensteins books, "A More Beautiful World Our Hearts Know Is Possible" about the concept of Wu Wei.
I look at this as taking the "path of least resistance, or similar to the "Surrender Experiment" by Michael A. Singer

In this episode, we've got the lovely BECKY LARKIN making her return! We get deep into ideas revolving masculinity. Why there are a lot of boys in mens bodies and how that can hurt them and those around them.
It's a tricky battle and I it's not easy to see a man projecting "toxic masculinity" and respond with love, but that's what we need. Many of these "men" are in pain, suffering. Hurt people hurt people. I've been there. I've seen it. And in this episode, hopefully we spark some inspo to relook at your relationships with the men in your life.

Ever catch yourself saying "I don't know" when in fact you really do know? Or say "I'm sorry" when you really have nothing to be sorry for?
In this episode, I give a little life update on how things are going with ASL and upcoming work and fun festivities over the next few days.
Then I share my experiences with saying "I don't know" to bail myself out of controversy or because I felt I didn't have the right to be heard. I found that I was giving my power back and that manifested into lack of confidence and worthiness. NO more, my friend!
Saying "I don't know" when we are given a new piece of information is awesome because we are open to learning and growing, but the danger comes when we say "I don't know" for the wrong reasons. Pay attention. You might be surprised how often you hear it.
One love.
In this episode, I share the importance of finding community and having that sense of belonging, but I also share my personal stories as to how finding community has lifted my soul and spirit. It's a different kind of medicine.
If you feel stuck, or lost, or alone, drive around your town and check out all the shops. Small business owners are my favorite people to connect with because if you become a regular that means the world to them and then your relationship is off to the raises. Look up local classes in subjects that interest you. Complement others. Call people by their names.
Prioritize community.

As attention spans are seemingly decreasing over time, I believe one of the greatest gifts we can give another person is our full, undivided presence. Seeing, listening and fully being with them is a currency of it's own.
In this episode, I share that I am embarking on a journey to learn ASL (American Sign Language). One of the things that drew me to it, is that you must be truly present to communicate in this language.
I'm excited to see where this journey takes me. Stay tuned for updates on how the journey goes

Our DIET, is not just what we put into our bodies. It is also the thoughts we consume, our environment (friends/family), media/music we listen to, film/tv we watch and more. It is a culmination of our ecosystem AND incredibly influential to who we are, how we show up, and the STORIES we've adopted.
If you take away anything from this episode, it's to pay attention to everything we are consuming, then dive into where our stories are coming from.

Growing up I struggled to get my words across. To speak with the intention to be heard. As I've continued to learn about Communication and as I explore my instruments as an actor, I've found how important the voice is. How it is a muscle. And one that I've truthfully never taken to the gym.
I was looking for feedback at the end of the year and told by my acting teacher to focus on DICTION, and really hitting my articulators.
January of 2021, I spent almost every single day working these muscles. From facial warmups, to tongue movements, to tongue twisters and more. It was beautifully uncomfortable and embarassing and I felt fatigue in my throat like I'd feel in my legs after a leg day. Then, over months and now over a year, I'm proud of the progress I've made.
You don't have to be an actor or singer to focus on this muscle. We are all Communicators. We ALL benefit.

In this episode, I share my experiences with overeating and where this urge was rooted from. From denying the existence of my emotional eating to cravings taking over my better judgement when it came to snacking and even cooking a healthy meal. There were a handful of experiences growing up that shaped my story around food and therefore my relationship with it. It starts with awareness, but this habit has been a challenge for me to break and one that I'll be working on for quite a bit of time.

In this episode, we dive into a powerful mindset shift in how we look at awakenings in our lives. Many of those moments that have us questioning "Why me" and respond with anger, resentment, or leaving us feeling helpless.
But these "rude" awakenings, while daunting in the moment, can be the most important moments of our lives. With a simple mindset shift, we can use this experience as fuel to propel us into our higher selves.

An excerpt from Charles Eisenstein's books, "The More Beautiful World Our Heart Knows Is Possible".
After reading the exerpt I really spoke from the heart on my take on it, and where we are at today, and my hope for a more beautiful world.

Getting out in Nature, grounding our feat into the earth, soaking in the sunshine and breathing in that fresh air is one of my favorite ways to do it.
Clint Ober has conducted incredible research in his discovery of the impact of "Grounding" and all the incredible health benefits.
You can study all the literature on it, but all it takes is getting outside for 15 minutes, and you will feel what the science is preaching. Give it a go.

I want to normalize reflecting and sharing stories of moments in our lives that we look back on with pride. Moments where we are proud of the way we showed up or what we achieved. Moments that show our truest, most vibrant colors.
Today, I take a moment to reflect on some of my fondest memories in College. Moments that make me smile and I must admit, it feels weird sharing positive moments about ourselves. I feel it's more normalized to share those "shitty" or "why me" moments, but I want to change that narrative.
Here are 3 personal stories from my college experience that shine brightest in my book that's informed me of the person that I want to be.
I challenge and encourage everyone to take a moment and reflect on your best moments. Celebrate them. Hold them tight. And bring that energy with you moving forward.

Many times when people ask "Why did you go Plant Based", you usually hear one fo three answers:
!. The animals
My Health
The Planet/Sustainability
These were my original reasons, then as I moved throughout the world with this new lifestyle, I discovered more benefits that weren't so obvious...Strength in making decisions, community, standing up for my beliefs, and more.
I don't want this episode to just be fore my plant based friends and family...I want to open space for everyone to listen and not feel judged.

With obligations, expectations and hectic work schedules, it can be challenging to find moments of stillness throughout the day. It's time to change the paradigm that taking time for you, taking those moments of stillness is "lazy" or "weak", because many times finding those moments can be an incredible strength and improve productivity.
I also challenge myself to pay attention to the amount of "likes" I use in this podcast and for future ones to come. The growth mindset never stops.
Reminder...take some time for you.
You deserve it.

Nutrition is a daunting, foggy gray area making it so difficult to navigate as to what is "Good" Nutrition. There's incredible research being done daily to bring us the TRUTH, but w/ Industries carrying on certain motives, finding that truth can be unfathomably difficult.
In this episode, I recite my blog post giving my perspective on Nutrition, what I've learned, who are some sources that I love and trust, and more than just "What" to put into our bodies.

Today I am reading my first blog post, sharing my struggles and pains and tribulations with my own health and why I am so passionate about sharing what I have learned over the years with you all.
From life threatening asthma attacks to chronic eczema to Chicken Pox when I was 18 years old, these are the stories of the before and after of one of the most important transformations I've ever made in my life. One Love
This title was birthed after learning about the idea of us being "creators of our reality" and then learning about Lucid Dreaming.
When we dream we are passively observing, but when we become lucid in a dream, we are the "creators" of that dream.
I felt that in most of my life, I was just the observer, passively moving through this world. Then a shift happened, and I started to go deep within myself and slowly showed up as this new person I envision for myself, and I started to see interesting synchronicities happen. I firmly believe in the idea that we are the creators of our lives.
So, there birthed "Lucid Living". Just like how you can create this insanely beautiful world in a dream when you become Lucid, so can you in real life.
Welcome Welcome to the first of many Lucid Living Podcasts to come!
