Season 3 of Spirit-Led Hope is all about the Bible. In this episode, Glenn looks at the consequences of a having a closed canon where nothing can be added to or subracted from the 66 books of the Protestant Bible. One of the consequences is that a closed canon means Christians will disagree with some beliefs or religions. With kindness, Glenn explains how a closed canon causes him to disagree with other beliefs such as those taught by Jehovah Witnesses, Mormons, Oneness Pentecostals, and New Age practitioners.

This episode continues teaching on the gift of prophecy and how it relates to the equation of Super + Natural = Supernatural. In this episode, Glenn also discusses five tips for giving a prophetic word.
Tip 1: You will generally feel some area of discomfort or uncertainty when giving a prophetic word.
Tip 2: All the Holy Spirit asks is that we do our part, nor more, no less.
Tip 3: Don't try to be, or sound like, something you are not.
Tip 4: Give God the glory.
Tip 5: Don't think too highly of yourself.
What do you do if someone gives you a prophetic word? In this episode, we look at three simple ways to respond. In addition, Glenn also tackles the "elephant in the episode," the fact that people have been wounded by the abuse of the gift of prophecy.
In this episode, Glenn speaks to the principles that help us give a prophetic word to others. He points out that we are called to give a prophetic word by faith, in love, with humility. When we do this, God is honored and we get the privilege of seeing God bless others through our obedience.

Does prophecy involve a prediction of the future? Must you be a prophet to function in this gift? Who can give a prophetic word?

This episode begins a deeper dive into the gift of prophecy. Glenn points out that the Christian community is divided over whether or not the gift of prophecy exists today. Cessationists support cessationism--the belief that spiritual gifts like prophecy ended shortly after the first Apostles died. On the other hand, Continuationists support continuationism--the belief that gifts like prophecy still function. Glenn supports continuationism and gives some of his reasons in this episode.
In this episode, Glenn describes a way to view the fruit of the Spirit that encourages growth in all areas of our character. He also begins to set the stage for future episodes on the gift of prophecy.
Gifts of the Holy Spirit such as healings and miracles seem to offer proof that God exists. But can they really be used this way? Glenn discusses the ways the gifts of the Spirit can and cannot prove God's existence, and gives two personal examples.
