Episode Summary

In this solo episode, Stacy introduces a foundational tool she uses with every client: the Emotional Cycle of Change. She breaks down the five phases we all move through when pursuing any goal—from the sunshine-and-rainbows start to the dreaded Valley of Despair—and shows you how to recognize where you are, what to watch for, and how to keep moving until your new habits are truly embodied. If you’ve ever felt stuck starting over (again), this framework will help you normalize the hard parts and make consistent progress.

You’ll Learn The five phases of the Emotional Cycle of Change (and the emotions in each). * Why the “Amazon Prime Effect” sabotages transformation—and how to resist it. * How to spot the Valley of Despair and avoid common self-sabotage traps. * What to double down on once momentum returns (so you don’t slide back). * The difference between hitting a goal and becoming* the person who sustains it.

The Five Phases (Quick Guide)1. Uninformed Optimism — High excitement, low realism. Watch out for unrealistic timelines and overconfidence. 2. Informed Pessimism — “This is harder than I thought.” Expect frustration, doubt, impatience; don’t switch strategies too soon. 3. Valley of Despair — The make-or-break moment. Normalize the dip; notice blame/avoidance; keep taking the next right step. 4. Informed Optimism — “It’s working.” Stay steady; keep the disciplines that got you here; resist easing off the gas. 5. Success & Fulfillment — Embodiment. Celebrate, reflect, and retain the habits/identity that created the win.

Key Takeaways Transformation is not linear; the dip is part of the process, not proof you’re failing. * You always fall to your weakest discipline—strengthen that one first. * Don’t chase the high of “new plan” energy; consistency beats novelty. * Celebrate progress—dance in the end zone*—before climbing the next mountain.

Quotes Worth Sharing “Not everything arrives in two days—especially your goals.” — Stacy * “The Valley of Despair isn’t punishment; it’s proof* you’re growing.” — Stacy * “Everything can come together overnight, but nothing happens overnight.” — Stacy

Try This (Listener Challenge)1. Name your phase right now (use the quick guide above). 2. Ask: “What’s one step I can take today to move forward?” 3. If you’re in the dip, text a supporter, review your wins, and recommit to your baseline disciplines for 7 days. 4. When you hit a milestone, schedule a celebration before setting the next goal.

Episode Summary:
In this episode of WTF with Becca Lamar, Stacy and Becca get candid about the messy middle of entrepreneurship, the illusion of overnight success, and the growing lack of integrity in the online coaching world. From Gen Z’s “instant six-figure mindset” to social media’s curated perfection, they unpack the danger of skipping the experience part of expertise—and why authenticity, humility, and real-world reps still matter.

It’s an unfiltered, fiery (and funny) conversation about what’s broken in the coaching space, how to build credibility the right way, and why getting out from behind the screen is the biggest growth hack no one’s talking about.

You’ll Learn:

  • Why “earning it” still matters (and what that actually looks like)
  • How the “Amazon Prime Effect” has reshaped expectations in business—and how to resist it
  • Why theory without experience creates fragile confidence
  • What the rise of “fake it till you make it” coaches says about our culture
  • The real cost of pricing without integrity (and why discounting rarely works)
  • How to reconnect with authenticity by meeting people offline
  • Why doing uncomfortable, messy, imperfect things builds real growth muscle
  • What authenticity, honesty, and vulnerability actually look like in business today

Key Takeaways:

  • Experience over education: you can’t consult on something you’ve never done.
  • Social media shows the after—stop comparing yourself to someone else’s highlight reel.
  • Don’t fake authority; be transparent about where you are and what you’re learning.
  • There’s power in beta-testing, charging fairly, and growing your proof before your prices.
  • Integrity means consistent pricing, honest communication, and delivering what you promise.
  • Real success comes from getting out into the world—networking, connecting, and failing forward.
  • Discomfort is the best teacher. The goal isn’t perfection; it’s being brave enough to try.

Quotes Worth Sharing:

  • “Don’t call me lucky when I’ve failed more times than you’ve tried.” – Stacy
  • “You don’t get to consult on a life you haven’t lived yet.” – Becca
  • “Everything can come together overnight, but nothing happens overnight.” – Stacy
  • “Your presence in the real world will always matter more than your polish online.” – Becca
  • “People don’t want perfect—they want real.” – Stacy
  • “If everyone’s behind a screen, go shake a hand.” – Becca

Episode Summary:
In this solo episode, Stacy breaks down why feeling “off” in your life, work, or relationships is almost always a core values problem—not a productivity problem. She walks you through how to define what you stand for, how to use those values as a powerful filter for decisions, relationships, opportunities, and your calendar, and how Evolve Beyond Limits holds itself to the same standard. You’ll also get a behind-the-scenes look at EBL’s seven core values so you can decide if this is a space that expands you—or one that’s not meant for your next chapter (with zero shame either way).

You’ll Learn:

  • Why “Do your actions align with who you say you are?” is the question that exposes misalignment fast
  • How clear core values create instant clarity in decision-making (yes/no becomes simple, not emotional)
  • How to use the plus / plus-minus / minus rating system to evaluate people, clients, opportunities, and environments
  • The three big reasons values matter: better decisions, better people/opportunities, built-in accountability
  • A real-time example of using core values to walk away from a misaligned opportunity with confidence
  • The 7 Evolve Beyond Limits core values—and what they look like in real life
  • Three practical exercises to uncover your own core values (Trigger Flip, Peak & Pit Reflection, Legacy Toast)
  • Why integrity, self-trust, and authenticity are impossible without knowing what you stand for

Key Takeaways:

  • Core values are your compass; without them, you’ll keep shape-shifting to fit rooms you were never meant to be in.
  • Alignment builds confidence: when your choices match your values, you reclaim your power and stop outsourcing decisions to “shoulds” and other people’s expectations.
  • Use your values as a filter: if an opportunity, client, or room gets mostly minuses, it’s a no—without guilt.
  • Your favorite clients, friendships, and spaces probably already reflect your values; the draining ones usually don’t.
  • Values = accountability. When you feel off, rate your behavior against your values and adjust—simple, honest, effective.
  • The right spaces feel expansive, not constricting. Misalignment doesn’t mean anyone is wrong; it just means it’s not your space.

Quotes Worth Sharing:

  • “If you don’t know who you are, you’ll keep adjusting yourself to fit the room instead of owning your place in it.” – Stacy
  • “Core values turn ‘I feel off’ into ‘I see exactly why this doesn’t fit.’” – Stacy
  • “Alignment is not about perfection; it’s about being honest enough to course-correct.” – Stacy
  • “Your values should draw the right people in and send the wrong ones running.” – Stacy
  • “We don’t do ‘I love you if.’ We do ‘I love you always.’ That’s Safe Harbor.” – Stacy

In this debut of Work Smart, Play Hard, Stacy and Andrew go behind the scenes of life as a two-entrepreneur household—sharing the good, the bad, and the ugly. From purpose-driven work and forced growth to cash-flow whiplash and capacity ceilings, they unpack what it really takes to build businesses, a marriage, and a life you actually want—without skipping the messy middle.

You’ll learn:

  • The real perks of dual entrepreneurship: purpose, impact, and self-directed growth
  • Why “flexibility” can backfire without boundaries (rituals, work hours, Freedom Fridays)
  • How to navigate cash-flow volatility and rebuild a healthier relationship with money
  • Side-hustle vs. “burn the boats”: when each path makes sense
  • How to expand capacity so you can hold more responsibility without breaking

Key Takeaways:

  • Purpose first, schedule second: choose work you’re called to, then add structure to protect it.
  • Flexibility needs fences—clear work windows create more freedom (and better output).
  • Money is a tool, not an identity; remove the shame and manage timing, not just totals.
  • You’ll hit capacity before the next level—grow skills, systems, and support to expand it.
  • In a founder partnership, comparison kills; collaboration compounds.

Quotes Worth Sharing:

  • “Everything we do is intentional—because we choose it, not because it landed on our calendar.” – Andrew
  • “Flexibility without boundaries becomes a trap.” – Stacy
  • “You don’t cap out as an entrepreneur—the path forward is learning to hold more.” – Andrew
  • “I wasn’t mad at the money; I was comparing journeys. Collaboration beats competition—especially at home.” – Stacy

Episode Summary:

In this solo episode—recorded in the new EBL studio—Stacy Gissal pulls back the curtain on the last six months: the messy middle, the near-quit, and the decision to re-energize Evolve Beyond Limits around one core insight—stress isn’t the villain; complacency is. She traces 16 years of work across physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health to reveal how EBL now helps leaders live in their Stress Sweet Spot and strengthen six essential Leadership Disciplines: Vitality, Clarity, Presence, Courage, Authenticity, and Vulnerability.

You’ll learn:

  • Why “stress is information” (and how complacency—not stress—is the real antagonist)
  • The six root-cause stressors and how they map to the six Leadership Disciplines

  • What’s changing at EBL, and three ways to engage (DIY, 1:1 coaching, team experiences)
  • What’s coming next: EBL Core Values, plus Work Smart, Play Hard with Andrew

Key Takeaways:

  • Re-energizing beats restarting: most “new beginnings” are a recommitment to what matters.
  • Stress is a blueprint for growth—decode it to see what must shift (habits, boundaries, beliefs).
  • Focus where you’re weakest first; strength there lifts everything else.
  • Leadership is multi-dimensional: body, mind, emotions, spirit/energy.
  • Great leaders don’t just rise; they create ripples across teams, families, and communities.

Quotes Worth Sharing:

  • “Stress is not the enemy. It’s the signal that something needs to change.” – Stacy Gissal
  • “I wasn’t embarrassed by what I built—I was embarrassed that I stopped.” – Stacy Gissal
  • “We don’t need more leaders in survival mode; we need grounded, heart-centered leaders.” – Stacy Gissal
  • “You will always fall to your weakest discipline—so strengthen that one first.” – Stacy Gissal

The Six Leadership Disciplines (and their root-cause stressors):

  • Vitality ← Physical Health
  • Clarity ← Mental Health
  • Presence ← Relationship with Time
  • Courage ← Avoidance & Procrastination
  • Authenticity ← Confidence & Self-Belief
  • Vulnerability ← Trust & Surrender

Episode Summary:

In this raw and unfiltered episode of the Evolve Beyond Limits Podcast, Stacy Gissal and her BFF (and co-host) Becca Lamar launch the new WTF Series — a space for the conversations everyone’s having behind closed doors but no one’s brave enough to say out loud.

Together, they dive into what it really means to be told you’re “too much.” From shrinking to fit in to learning to celebrate wins without guilt, they explore the emotional toll of dimming your light — and how to lead yourself and others from authenticity, courage, and confidence.

You’ll learn: Why sharing your success feels vulnerable (and how to reclaim it) How to filter feedback and know what’s actually yours to carry How “being too much” is often just being fully expressed What real leadership looks like when you stop apologizing for who you are

This conversation ties directly to the Leadership Disciplines of Authenticity, Courage, and Vulnerability — helping you strengthen your ability to show up fully and lead from the heart.

Key Takeaways:

  • Vulnerability isn’t just sharing pain — it’s sharing joy without shame.
  • You can’t inspire others by shrinking yourself.
  • Use your “too much” as a mirror for others’ limitations, not your own.
  • True leadership begins with self-trust and radical authenticity.

Getting into Today's Topic

  • Welcome back! Today, let's explore the profound difference between internal and external motivators. Discover how shifting from external to internal motivation can collapse time and fast-track your journey to success.

External Motivators

  • Most people operate from tangible goals – the championship ring, financial targets, podcast download numbers, or test grades.
  • Pitfalls of external motivators:
    • Black and white success or failure mindset.
    • Confidence tied to external outcomes.
    • Always chasing fulfillment in the future, leading to a continuous cycle of unfulfillment.

Living Only for External Goals

  • Stacy shares personal experiences and discusses how often people find themselves unfulfilled even after achieving significant external goals.
  • The external approach often leads to forcing outcomes, missing the joy of the journey.

Shifting Focus to Internal Motivators

  • Stacy emphasizes the importance of dedicating life to enhancing others' well-being and making a positive impact daily.
  • Internal motivators are intangible and immeasurable by external standards but contribute to meaningful, lasting fulfillment.
  • Reflecting on the legacy you want to leave behind - what people genuinely say about you at your funeral.

Joy vs. Temporary Satisfaction

  • Joy is found in the intangible, moments without expectations, and positive impact on others.
  • Stacy clarifies that external goals are fine but should be side effects of focusing on internal motivators.
  • Burnout is more likely when focusing solely on the goal, not the intention or the journey.

Building an Internal Flame

  • Internal motivation is an eternal flame within, driven by who you are rather than what you can achieve.
  • Questions for self-reflection: Who do you want to be? What keeps your flame burning? How can you positively impact others' lives?
  • Shifting focus can make a world of difference.

Action Steps

  • We want to hear from you! Share your intentions on Patreon: Who will you be this week? Plus, we will be dropping some additional discovery prompts on the Patreon page!

Conclusion

  • Stacy signing off, urging you to play with this shift & let your inner fire burn. Stay tuned for more ways to activate your DNA & Evolve Beyond Limits. Until next time!

Learn more about the fifth and final Human design type: Reflector.

Dive in and join me as I tackle the rarest of Human Designs, which make up for only 1% of the population. Would you think that the majority of them are children?

This Human Design typography absolutely amazes me. They are the mirror of our surroundings, reflecting everything back to us based on the environment they are in.

Their one-of-a-kind strategies are so wonderful that they're based on the moon cycle before making a decision. Well, since they require clarity, they are open to hearing other people's perspectives, and once they believe they are good at everything, they move forward.

As with other Human Design types, they have talents and challenges, however they're so adaptable. As long as they're happy, they see what's possible in the world, and they bring us all together.

Next on the Human Design series are the Projectors. If you missed the previous Human Designs, feel free to go back and check them out to know more.

Making up about 21% of the population, Projectors are the wise guys of the world that are bound to be the next generation of leaders. Projectors are here to guide people of their next steps, not force and tell them what to do.

Their strategy involves waiting to be acknowledged, invited, or recognized for their wisdom, requiring extreme patience on their end. Most of the time, this results to Projectors feeling they are unseen, unheard, and unrecognized. However, this waiting is important for them because the moment they share their wisdom without the invitation to do so, their wisdom is not heard and recognized, making them bitter.

The first thing that Projectors need to do is to enjoy and take care of themselves. When they do this, it makes them more magnetic to the people around them. Because they have been observing the world and the people around them since they were little, they tend to care more about what other people are doing than their own - giving them all this wisdom. Projectors have this intuition and focus that can help guide other types.

However, Projectors are highly prone to burnout in trying to keep up with the world around them. Needing more rest compared to the other types, they can be looked at as lazy during their rest and recharge moments that they need. Being very sensitive of the things going on around them, this often creates lack of awareness of whatever is going on within them. This raises the need for Projectors to be around people who can see this and remind them about it.

Continuing the Human Design series, today we will be talking about the Manifestor. Being the second rarest of all the types, Manifestors are here to initiate action influenced by their very powerful aura.

Often times, Manifestors don't see themselves with the power they actually have and might even get uncomfortable with it. When a Manifestor practices the strategy of informing, understand that they are in no way asking for permission or negotiations. Communication is their best friend, even though at time they think that informing and communicating their plans to others introduces possibilities of blockages. However, communicating lessens the resistance of people around them to whatever plan they have in mind, and might even open doors for help to come in.

Manifestors have this ability to empower people around them and make people feel safe in their presence. With their mysterious and free spirit, often times people get intimidated by them, or drawn to them. They are also very independent, which can be both a blessing and a curse, especially in terms of communication. Manifestors also tend to be dominating, finding themselves struggling in working with others, and have a problem controlling their anger and maintaining energy to work the usual 9 to 5.

Today's episode is a continuation of our discussion about Human Design types and in this podcast we are going to talk about Manifesting Generators - a derivative of the Generators. If you haven't listened to the previous episode about Generators, go ahead and do that as this is related to that episode.

Let's talk about MG's role in empowering those around them, inspiring like minded people, and how their voice can change the world. Aside from interacting through responding to their environment, MGs also need to inform people around them who may be affected by their decisions. This could be a challenge, but this would also bring power to the MG in terms of focusing of energy, delegating, and connecting.

MG's have the unbelievable ability to create. They are also the only ones that can be multi-passionate and move really really quickly. However, this can make MGs feel impatient, and feel like people around them aren't moving fast enough a they want them to be, and would tend to lose focus, skip steps, or not finish what has been started because of the swift movement from one subject to another. MGs are also very prone to exhaustion and burn-out especially because they try to do everything themselves.

Today's episode is going to be rounding out the Chakra series with the Crown Chakra.

The Crown Chakra is very unique because it is not found on our physical body, but actually above our head. The Crown Chakra is also all about Divine Energy, pure consciousness, our connection to Divine Intelligence, and where all our manifestations begin. At its essence, it is where we find meaning in our life.

The life lesson that comes with this chakra is the ability to heal ourselves and others. It comes down to being able to set your ego aside and surrender to Source/God/Spirit/Divine Will. This is where we reach different levels of consciousness - which allows us to further explore the meaning of life. On why are we here, on what is your purpose. It is in the Crown Chakra where we truly let go of our physicality, therefore we have no physical element or animal attached to it. Conversely, the Crown Chakra is blocked by attachment.

In this episode, we age going to be discussing and describing what it feels like to be living a life where you're struggling with imbalance in your Crown Chakra. In contrast, we are also going to be looking at how someone lives with a balanced Crown Chakra, how they radiate the essence of consciousness and how magical the life could be if you are willing to live and embody the work.

Allow yourself to surrender to the here and now. It's time to wipe away any illusions, stories, and perceptions that has stopped you from seeing the beauty of who you really are. Connect to your higher-self and listen to the message that was meant for you, and embody the person who you truly are.

Today's episode is going to be focused on our 6th energy center - the Third Eye.

The Third Eye is the command center, located right in-between your eyes, in the middle of your forehead, and three inches back - very much like where your pineal gland is. It is one of the most mysterious part of our body which is generally closed most of the time, and most people don't know how to open it. As kids, we were taught to close it - to close our minds from our intuition, our natural attraction to life's mysteries, to wonder, because we were told that that's not how life works.

Opening our Third Eye requires attention and focus, for us to turn inwards. The more attention we give to our third eye, the more alive it becomes. It is important for us to focus on our Third Eye because this will allow you to become witnesses of your own lives and see things clearly, outside of your own perspective. That is the purpose of our Third Eye - to see situations clearly, to see yourself clearly, to see things from a higher perspective, a bird's eye view.

Opening the Third Eye helps you release yourself from the grip of your emotions. To identify yourself separately from the emotions that you currently have, and simply witness the experience rather than getting all tangled up on it. Our Third Eye is also where our intuition lies, allowing us to see beyond the physical world adding insight and wisdom, asking and inviting us to go inward and connect to Divine Intelligence, Healing, and Abundance.

In this episode we are going to look at how people with imbalanced Third Eye chakra behave and feel like versus how people who have a balanced Third Eye chakra live by. We are also going to talk about the different archetypes - The Rationalist and The Intuitive. And lastly, how you can actually start the work on opening and focusing on your Third Eye.

Today's Evolve Beyond Limits meditation is all about waking and activating your Throat Chakra.

Our mantra as we activate our chakra: "I speak truth. I seek truth. I embrace truth. I live truth."

Notice any sensation you are experiencing and know that you are safe and protected at all times, despite dropping the armor you've built to shield yourself. Notice the lightness and freedom as you drop the chains that has kept you stuck in place. Notice the sensation you feel as you drop the mask you've been wearing and embrace your truth.

Stay wild and untamed, yet soft and beautiful with your new sense of freedom.

Today's episode is going to into our fifth energy center - our Throat Chakra.

The throat is all about listening to God's will and speaking your truth. However, we have to keep in mind that there is a difference between 'speaking to be heard' and 'speaking your truth'. As much as the throat is all about speaking and communication, it is also about listening and all other forms of communication.

Communication is what shapes our future. When we voice out something that we want to or do not want, it's the first step to creating it into reality. But this is also where we tend to have a really hard time because we realize that people around us cannot read our minds, and that for us to get what we want, we have to ask for it and communicate it.

In this episode we are going to talk about the main points when it comes to the fifth chakra - speaking with integrity and clarity of listening. How reacting versus resonating creates the divide in the communication process, and how the different vibrations affect the clarity of our communications. In addition, we are going to be talking about what impacts our ability to communicate - the effect of technology, the physical struggles, the vibe that we put out to the world, and so much more. We will look at how communicating with an imbalanced Throat Chakra feels like, and how communicating with a balanced Throat chakra will feel less superficial, has more depth, and feels more creative and truthful.

Finally, we will also go over the steps we can take to get out Throat chakra into balance.

Today's Evolve Beyond Limits meditation is all about allowing our love and compassion to expand and radiate from within us.

Everything in your life, you have the ability to change if you're willing to take responsibility. Once you take responsibility, you are able to manifest anything and everything.

Let's take a moment to feel what it feels like to pour love, gratitude, and happiness to the people you love the most. Let's allow that feeling and energy to expand from your heart to the people and beings around you. Remind yourself through this meditation that it is possible to extend this love, because how you respond is up to you and is in your control.

Choose love. Choose compassion. Choose gratitude.

Today, we are going to focus on our Heart chakra, our fourth energy center.

This topic is very dear and important to me because I believe that to change the world, we must open the human heart - which is more difficult than we expect it to be. And so in this episode, we are going to focus on all things related to the Heart Chakra so we can live more from our hearts and less from our heads.

The heart is all about cosmic love, compassion, receiving, sense of peace, and relationships. If we're to break this down, it's simply about loving without condition. However, most people find this difficult to practice, even to ourselves - to love ourselves no matter what. Because only then are we going to be capable to extend that same level of love to the people around us.

And so in this episode, we will talk about how we can unlock the Heart Chakra, how this is very much connected to our Sacral Chakra, and how healing the latter can open doors for us to heal our Heart. We will look at how living with an imbalance Heart Chakra feels like. In comparison, we will also talk about how living from our Heart is a very much different way of living and loving and how that looks like for us.

Today's Evolve Beyond Limits meditation is all about activating your power center.

We are the catalyst of change in our own lives, and in the lives of others, but not until we have focused on activating our power center. You have the ability to do that now.

Allow you worries to wash away as you relax each body part, one by one. Notice any resistance, any pain, and notice what these are trying to tell you as you take deep breaths.

Step into and stand in the sense peace, calm, protection, and purity. Allow it to expand from inside you to everything it touches beyond what you can see, feel, and imagine. Acknowledge the truth and the gift that you are the power center, and that without you, change doesn't exist.

Today, we are going to focus on our Solar Plexus chakra.

This sits right below our chest, between the heart and the belly button. This is commonly called our power center and is represented by fire. This is all about transformation and action. It is also about self-esteem and confidence, igniting our personal power and our will to do things. Our solar plexus is all about overcoming inertia - overcoming addictive patterns, comfort zones, and breaking old patterns.

In this episode, we are going to be reflecting on what is feeding our soul, what experiences are you allowing, what fears are you trying to overcome. We are going deep about our own power, how we keep it or take it back if we found ourselves to have lost it along the way.

Today's Evolve Beyond Limits meditation is all about reconnecting to the Divine Love that is always available to you. The Divine Love that opens your heart and allows you to lead from a place of kindness and love for yourself and for other people around you.

We can only love others to the extent which we love ourselves, which is why taking time to connect with your heart and pouring love to your entire being is important.

Without love, fear takes holds and blocks us from seeing the beauty that is always surrounding us.

The more unconditional love you have for yourself, the more unconditional love you can hold for others.

Today, we are going to hop into the second chakra - the Sacral Center.

As promised, this is going to be a juicy podcast because the Sacral is all about connection to ourselves. The Sacral chakra is located in our pelvic bowl, the positioning itself is already very juicy to begin with! But beyond that, the Sacral is really all about our feminine energy - our mood, the unseen, the mysterious. It's all about our experiences, making it juicier.

In this episode, we are going to be talking all about experiences, emotions, moods, defense mechanisms, and everything that can help you identify what having a balanced (or imbalanced) Sacral chakra looks and feels like.

Today's Evolve Beyond Limits meditation is focused on grounding and connecting to our Root chakra. Take this moment to get comfortable and sync into the moment.

Notice places of tension, aches, pressure, and pains. Bring awareness to your physical body, scan each area from the top of your head to the end of your toes.

Our physical body is an important piece of us being here on earth. Pay attention to it, listen to it, give it the attention it needs. Let go of anything that is worrying you today, anything weighing on your mind. Release any negative feelings through each breath.

Stand in the power of being connected, stable, and safe - much like a tree deeply rooted into the ground. Take a moment to soak in how supported and safe you feel. Take that feeling of gratitude throughout your day.

Today's Evolve Beyond Limits Meditation is all about Grounding. Find a place where you can sit comfortably with your feet planted on the ground. Allow yourself to breathe in and out, be in this still moment, and pay attention to your breathing.

This grounding meditation will help you connect more to your body, to Mother Earth, and transmute negative energy into a positive one. Allow yourself to relax and imagine that roots are coming from the bottom of your feet connecting you deep into the earth. Allow yourself to feel safe, secured, let go of worries, fear, and doubt. Allow yourself to remember that you are always held by Nature and The Divine.

Allow yourself to feel the support that the earth is providing to you. You have nothing to worry about.

Today's Evolve Beyond Limits Meditation is all about clearing out our chakras and allowing our energy to flow freely, releasing anything that is getting in our way.

Allow yourself to surrender into the moment. Allow any tension or worry to wash away. Allow yourself to fully relax your mind and body. As you imagine and allow the light of protection, healing, and love to clear each of your chakras, take this moment to observe without judging and allow it to clear and heal you from within.

Today, we are going to dive into energies and the spirit aspect.

Energy helps us manifest magic in our world. It is the combination with our mind and body that brings about synchronicities, miracles, and divine intervention. No wonder the planet is suffering - it is because us human beings are also suffering internally, impacting everything around us. Energy connects everything. The same reason how one's negative attitude can impact an entire room, or how moon cycles affect us in many ways. Everything is energy, and everything is connected.

If we can truly open our minds that energy is science, not a religion, it will not cause separation from the Divine that you believe in. This can actually allow you to feel more open and connected to the spiritual aspect of who you are.

In this episode, I talk about the chakras - how to bring wholeness to our spirit, with an overview of how each individual chakras affect our energy and spirituality.

Today's podcast is all about not dumping our emotional and energetic sh*t on everyone else.

Every human is born with kindness, respect, honesty, fairness, and righteousness. But through social and cultural conditioning, we are exposed to all these negative energies around us like stress, pressure, impatience, anger, fear, worry.

If you'll evaluate, how much of your life are you spending on exercising the first list vs. the second list? Is your energy being filled or are you being drained by the negative emotions you allow yourself to be consumed by?

Energy cannot be created nor destroyed - it can only be transformed. And because we don't know how to transform it, we choose to numb ourselves rather than feel through it, we dump these negative emotions instead of choosing to process it. But the problem with dumping these negative emotions is someone else has to pick it up. It doesn't just go away.

Emotions are gifts that shows us what needs our attention. It's neither good nor bad. It's simply emotions. And emotions, when passed along, will just continue to multiply. If we pass along positive emotions, it will create more positive energy. But if we dump our negative emotions to others without processing and transforming them first - you're essentially creating a black hole that will suck the life out of not just you, but of everyone who receives your heavy karma that you passed along to them.

I urge you to start with yourself. Learn to love, respect, be honest, kind, and gentle to yourself. And once you have that for yourself, it will be so much easier for you to pass it along. There is so much to learn through the process of healing, but know that the same amount of learnings can be found in the process of allowing yourself to live, enjoy, and be genuinely happy.

Don't pass on your sh*t. Own it. Sit with it. Talk to someone who can help you move through it.

This week's podcast is all about AVOIDANCE. This is something that literally gets us nowhere yet it's one of the things that holds us back the most.

Avoidance is a root chakra problem that stems from our fears. I focus on this in one of my programs, "Face Your Fears", but today we'll talk about it here because I myself am guilty of this for the very longest time and I wanted to share that with you and how I rewrote my own story.

When we can recognize that we are avoiding something, it's a direct red flag telling us that we are scared and it is fear driving whatever we are avoiding. Fear blocks abundance and it doesn't allow us to more forward through anything.

These are the three things you're telling yourself, and your subconscious, whenever you're avoiding something:

You are not opening yourself up to anything new.
You are fearful for anything different because you feel you cannot handle it, and so you run away.
You are stuck in the same cycle you have been living your entire life and blocking abundance because of your fear.

Today, I want you to promise yourself that you're not going to avoid anything from here on out, or at least you will try to actively recognize it. I want you to make a list of the things you are avoiding in your life because it feels to scary for you. Pick the one that feels the easiest to conquer, and choose to do it differently. Choose to let yourself grow by conquering the fear. Stop avoiding the conversation, the action, the blessings. Take it head on.

I invite you to Text "Journal2021" to 248-206-3431 to join the Evolve Beyond Limits Community and receive journal prompts a few times a week that I promise you, will make you think.

Until the next episode, let's go change the world!

Today's podcast is dedicated to all the families affected by the school shooting that happened here in Michigan just recently.

Tragedies often bring people together, but we don't really learn from it, allowing it to happen again, and again, and again. Very few people will want to hear this, but history will repeat itself. Until we finally wake up and find a solution, stop pointing fingers on who's to be blamed, this will remain to be a humanity issue. If humans aren't willing to take responsibility for what is happening, then we don't stand a chance to change and history will repeat itself. Until we ask ourselves, "how did I contribute to this?" we can never truly be responsible.

Today, I want you to reflect and ask yourself how you're showing up, reacting, and responding to everything that is happening around you. How responsible are you of your own emotions, actions, and thoughts? Are you reacting or responding? How are you contributing to the issues of humanity? Are you opening your mind to a new way of thinking and seeing things in a different perspective? Are you trying to understand regardless of personal differences, or are you just trying to be stubborn and argue? This does not need to keep happening. Work on yourself . As Marcus Aurelius wrote in his Meditations, "Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one."

Think about this. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

We are jumping in to Season 2 of the ALL-NEW Evolve Beyond Limits podcast! This will be a lot more raw, a lot more real, and a lot weirder - as I am stepping into the newest version of myself and bringing you all along with me!

In this episode, I talked about two of my very own experiences of "The Blame Game." In one way or another, we all get to experience this - and sometimes we are guilty of it as well. The projection, the shifting, the complaining...all of these are learned behaviors that we choose to dump unto others when we feel backed up in a corner without escape. It's a human response, a fight or flight type of reaction.

The question to ask now is, "Am I showing up as the best version of myself?" Everything that's going on in our world right now is a direct mirror of what's happening inside each one of us. Are we showing up as our best self, or are we choosing to break our integrity as a person? Because how we show up, every day, matters.

@stacygissal3 - Keep this?

Last week we discussed the first 2 of the Clairs ( and this week we are talking about the next 2 Clairs.

3) Clairaudience
4) Clairvoyance

Clairaudience is when you are drawn to music and song lyrics. If a song speaks to you, or you are sensitive to sounds that can be a sign that you are clairaudience. It's like hearing a small voice inside your head is guiding you, but that voice is your own. It's your institution, you inner wisdom.

Clairvoyance is when you see things, see colors around people, symbols, angel numbers, etc. When you have a lot of trust in your intuition, this Clair can present itself.

Now that you heard about all 4 Clairs, which one really hits you in the gut. Which one is leading you to where we need to go next. There is usually 1 or 2 guiding you and you do not realize it.

I can send you some guided meditations to help lead you towards tapping into your intuition. Just text Text "Journal2021" to 248-206-3431 or send me a DM @stacygissal.

I am so excited to talk to you about the 4 Clairs. This week I will focus on two of the Clairs and next week I will highlight the other two.

1) Clairsentient
2) Claircognizance

The 4 Clairs of intuition are basically your inner wisdom. Often we do not listen to our intuition because we are taught to think through logic and intellect since that is how the world generally works. However, we need to also learn to trust our own inner wisdom and where it is guiding us.

Clairsentient is feeling something. This is likely true if you are an em-path or a highly sensitive person. This is a super helpful tool to be able to read a room and understand how people are feeling. However, you can't on how others are feeling, you have to learn to let it go.

Claircognizance is knowing. It's having that gut feeling. It is being decisive because you already know without really knowing why you know.

I want you to take this week and see where these show up for you in your life. What gut feelings are you not responding to? Which one resonates with you the most? I would love for you to share your experiences with me.

In this episode I caught up with Alex Street, Story Coach, about the importance of your story. He brings clarity to your complicated story so that you stand out from the crowd. Alex shares that if you’re anything like him and you want to speak up but something keeps getting in the way, then he can help you through that.

He's been telling stories all his life as an actor, youth pastor, and public speaker, but was so afraid the audience wouldn’t like him that he held myself back and was constantly confused about what to say. For 20 years he was frustrated because he wasn’t making the impact he knew he could.

He enrolled in a program with other entrepreneurs who quickly helped him see that his story matters and his voice is needed in this world.

Now there’s nothing in his way! He's showing up more confident than ever to help people uncover their signature story, clarify their message, and speak without fear.

Often we make decision based on our past or who we used to be and not what's possible or who we are right now.

Even though we have changed or evolved, when we get around certain people who know who we used to be, we tend to revert back to that person. How would you show up if you didn’t have a past with these people and you didn’t know who you used to be?

Accept the new version of who you are and accept that there are people that are and are not meant to be on your journey any longer.

For a long time I felt broken because I was not religious. I had hard time wrapping my head around what caused so much separation among people. But I came to realize that religion does not separate people, people make it that way. Religions have a similar message at the core but have been destroyed by man needing to control it.

When people connect more with their spirit, mind and body that is what will change the world. Whenever we become more connected to our spirit we become more connected to our God or whatever spirit we believe in.

I am embarking on a new journey that is very scary for me. But I ask myself, What would I do if I had no reason to believe it wouldn’t work out?

I really want you to think about that. I have given it so much thought and decided that I will be traveling to the different chakras and energy vortexes and documenting it. I needed to stay true to my journey and will be sharing it. I am excited to bring you along with me and and I thank you for helping me bring this dream become a reality.

Success...how do you define it?
What we deem as success in our culture, might not be the be all, end all.

I share an amazing story of an American investor and Mexican fisherman that will make you reflect on your life. It will really make you think! We believe external accomplishments will make us happy, and when we finally get there we will be happy.

But what if we didn't need so much?!?

What if it wasn't about the money, but about the time and freedom instead, which you can get in many different ways.

Don't get caught up in the more, but in the what matters!!! See if those two things correlate as much as you think they do. I would love to know what this story brought up for you.

This week I caught up with Megs Pulvermacher (she/her) in the Evolve Beyond Limits podcast. She is the creator of the Queer Impact Collective - a community of queer-identifying entrepreneurs, creatives, and change-makers with a focus on networking and community building in order to amplify queer voices and empower queer missions.

Since a very young age she was inclusive of people planning events for friends and classmates since she was a little runt. As an adult she has organized many meet-ups and is a master connector bringing people together to have fun, be in community, and lift people up.

She shares her journey about coming out, being queer, and trusting in her why and what-not the how. Two Tips that have changed her life and business are:

  • Love the situation that we are in
+Make yourself important, putting yourself first is key in your life

Megs is also the host of the Out, What Now?! podcast, which focuses on helping queer folks navigate the ups and downs of the coming out journey, while having as much fun as possible!

Death...it really makes you think!?!
90% of people die with regret. I want you to ask yourself...

If this was your last day, would you be fulfilled?
Am I happy with how I am spending my time?
Are you living your life for what comes next?
Or are you living your life for what comes now?

If you feel good about your responses, stay the course. If not, that's ok, it just means there are changes to be made. Make the most of the time that you are here, in the present, and letting go of the notion that there is another place to go. Live in the guaranteed moment.

I have such a treat for you this week on the Evolve Beyond Limits Podcast! I brought you one of my mentors, Haley Cole, who is very special to me, to share her journey with you all.

Haley started her spiritual journey at 8 years old when she was introduced to various wonderful teachers and teachings. Throughout her childhood and young adult life, she continued learning about meditation, utilizing her intuition, the chakras, angels, gods, goddesses, Ascended Masters, and more. At 16, she became a Reiki Master.

She gets vulnerable and shares experiences that happen to her and how she treated healing as a second job. She had a desire to move across the country and with $500 in her pocket she packed up her car and left. Haley started her business and through focusing on service and devotion she has been successful.

As a Golden Light Intuitive, Healer, and Divine Feminine Teacher, she has now devoted her life to helping others discover just how powerful they are through her Mystery School, healing certification, readings, podcast, coaching, and speaking. She has also hosted and led events for companies such as Google and Youtube. She believes this work is so important because once we discover just how magical we are, we can change the world.

Relationships! People come in and out of our lives for a reason.

Consider these two very important questions:
1) Where am I going?
2) Who is going to go with me?

These questions cannot be out of order. You need clarity on where you are going before you ask who is going with me.

Please will drift in and out of your life and that's ok, however your relationship with yourself is going to be the most important relationship you will ever have.

To thrive in any relationship you must...
1) Seek to understand yourself & others
2) Accept that person for who they are right now

Accept yourself radically for who you are right now, then you can help others and one another.

Tune in so that you can learn more about conditioned love vs unconditional love. I only love you if...As a bonus, I've included a Love and Kindness Mediation to help you evaluate your life.

This week the amazing Joelle Riding and I had a chance to chat about giving yourself permission to pivot and change your mind whenever you need to. She expresses that we need to do what is aligned for us and sometimes that changes along the way. You are in the drivers seat, and only YOU decide what is for you and not for you. There is no timeline forcing your decisions, as long as you are true to yourself, everything will reveal itself for your best interest.

Joelle gets vulnerable and shares her journey into doing some much needed soul searching. Through a situation she went through she ended up asking herself, “How the F*ck did you let yourself get here.” Often we attach our self-worth to others, but we are worthy enough just the way we are.

She is grateful for all that she has learned and what brought her here. Joelle reminds us that it’s ok to want a great a life, the life that you envision for yourself is out there, you need to believe that you can receive it and are worthy of it. Having higher standards is a good lesson from the universe to see how great you are. It’s never to late to receive. Life is too short. Dream bigger. Every step you take will get you there.

Joelle is an entrepreneur based in Austin, Texas. After years of working in the restaurant industry, she decided enough was enough and started a travel blog to pursue her passions. She has lived in Cape Town, France, and Belgium, traveled South America for 3 months by herself, and backpacked Southeast Asia. After creating a personal brand from scratch, she found her calling as an entrepreneur, launched a podcast "How Do You Deal With", and founded Dope Magic Co, a Web Design Agency, offering vibrant websites and marketing services.

How many damn times do we have to learn the lesson?!? How many ways can signs show up?!?

You have be willing to ask questions to get answers. What am I missing? What am I not seeing

Stop focusing on the things not going my way, and focus on all the ways that life is going my way. All the beauty in every situation.

The challenge is how quickly can we see the lesson and turn it around.
Are we tuned in enough to see it?

I ask you to please stay tuned in, ask the questions, take time to listen to the answer. Don't rush it.

This week I had the opportunity to chat with my friend Fallon Moran, the Note Ninja, on her journey in entrepreneurship and the creation of the Ninja Notebook.

Business mentor, office supply addict, and part creator of The C.O.D.E. Process, Fallon started her coaching business in 2019. Fallon started her coaching journey by returning to the one thing that gave her life massive structure & clarity; crew. She believes every entrepreneur deserves to have clear, structured systems integrated into their business so that they can understand their notes, get organized, and profit as a result.

Fallon was fired from her corporate job and made the shift to being a full-time entrepreneur. When she first started her business, she felt so lost and stuck for 9 months not having clarity on what she wanted to do. Even while being stuck, she knew that she was meant for more. She saw a tiny spark inside that inspired her to continue to be persistent and resilient.

The birth of the Ninja Notebook is how everything changed in her journey. She knew the how, but it wasn't until she got clear on that what, that everything shifted.

Purpose. Why are we here? I just want to know what my purpose is...
What if it's not something we find?
What if it was there waiting for us for our entire life but we kept overlooking it because it seem so damn simple?
What if our purpose was to enjoy our life?
What would the world look like if everyone was just enjoying their life?

Seems impossible, but we have to try. This type of inner purpose energy can change the world because it has no limit to the ripple of the amount of people it can impact.

Are you living in your purpose?
Are you making it a life that you enjoy living?

In this week's podcast I had the privilege of spending time with a phenomenal woman, business owner, and mother Jen Medders. We talked about how she manages 2 successful businesses, a blended family of 8, and still makes time for herself.

Jen shares that before she makes any decision she asks herself these 3 questions:
Does this feed my soul?
Does this make me money?
Is this something only I can do?

Asking yourself these 3 questions will change your life so that you can be present and have it all. We all have the same 24 hours in a day, however are you spending that time moving yourself forward, your family forward, and your business forward.

Jen works as a CEO for The Allen Team at Keller Williams Realty where she has helped her team grow to be in the top 5% of agents in the area. She is also committed to helping folks grow and scale their business with a whole life/whole person approach to business coaching. She believes that with the right leverage, energy management and time block, folks can show up as their best selves in all areas of life. Jen is most proud of her work as a Mom and Bonus Mom to her blended family of 8 children. They teach her daily about humility, how to take things less seriously and how to truly have fun everyday. Jen's family motto is: Work Smart, Play Often and Rest Hard.

It's not easy to walk your own path! But you are here because you have that spark within you and want to do something different. The struggle is that it is easier to follow the social norms, it's easier to hide in the shadows, it's easier to stay exactly where you are. Easier to blame everything and everyone, while it feels easier there will be a time where in your gut enough is enough. You can't hide any long, can't keep putting yourself last. You know you are meant for more.

You are not alone, you never will be, you just have to find your people.
Look for ways to connect with people that might think a little different and are a little different. Create your own table.

If you're not ready to find your people on your own just yet, I am here for you. I am your people. You can join my texting community by texting journal2021 to 248-206-3431, you can contact me on IG @stacy_gissal , or text me if you are struggling.

I invite you to step outside your comfort zone and into something that feels aligned. Keep evolving!

Think back to your favorite memories and moments that are so meaningful to you. They happen when you’re not planning on it.
My need to “stick to the plan” used to dominate everyday… but I truly believe I missed out on so many beautiful, spontaneous moments because I was so structured and rigid. I missed the possibility of what would have happened if I was open to the unfolding opportunity of possibility.

This week, I challenge you to think about one area you’re trying to push and control. When you go one level deeper to the fear causing your control, what are you truly afraid of?

Episode 17: Let’s Talk about People Pleasing (Solo Episode)

So many people fall in to the habit of people pleasing. In this episode, I talk about how people pleasing is connected to our second chakra and your self-worth. The problem is that many people often seek external validation instead of looking inside of themselves for affirmation.

This week, I challenge you to take a critical look at your own habits around people pleasing:
How often are you thinking “I should” or “I’m supposed to” or you feel pressure to do something, think … according to whom?

In this week’s solo episode, I talk about how building a business should be fun, but so often we turn it into misery because of our past conditioning and limiting beliefs. But I’m here to tell you there’s a better way: you can build a life you love, and a business that helps you achieve that.

Life doesn’t happen to us. Its an active process that unfolds when you’re open to change in your mind, body, and spirt. When this happens, life and business becomes so much more fun! Most people don’t live a life that sets their soul on fire, because they’re chasing someone else’s definition of success. Guess what… Usually the things we want out of life, we can have right now.

In this episode, I’ll break down:
- How our environment shapes our definitions of success
- Why we seek external things to fill our inner emptiness
- Why you need to first define what success means to you
- Know what is going to get in your way
- How to work with and understand our energy

Life your life first, build your business around that. You’ll be amazed at what happens!

Evolve Beyond Limits: Episode 11 What Causes Disease

What do you think about when you hear the word disease? At its very core, it means things in your body are out of sync. If you do not proactively address how you are feeling on an energetic level, it will come out in physical symptoms or disease.

Balancing your health and well-being is not just nutrition and exercise, if you’re ignoring the deeper issue that’s contributing to nutritional changes or moving your body, you’re also ignoring the root causes that are contributing to those external habits.

There are three major components of disease. In this episode, I’ll break them down for you, and present things you should consider in your own life this week, including:

What are some areas of your life in which you’re going in direct opposition to what you know you need? What areas do you feel held back or feeling stuck?

Text me and share how you’re doing with this! The number is in the podcast.

Welcome to the Evolve Beyond Limits Podcast with Stacy Gissal

Trigger Warning (TW): In this episode, Mo shares such a powerful, difficult story about child abuse.

My friend Mo Copeland and I sat down to talk about his journey of transformation and have a heart-led conversation about everything from his upbringing, his faith, and the lessons he’s learned along the way.

After years of living in stuck patterns that he inherited, Mo flipped the script on his life and began to explore how to create a life and an authentic and true him. He’s actually writing a book about his experiences.

Join us as we talk about:
- How everything we need is within us (how amazing is that!)
- Why we’re so hard on ourselves (we think we understand ourselves) and how we can overcome this
- How we can overcome the pressure of other people’s expectations
- What faith means to Mo and his theology

Hang on to the very end for the post-show with me! Something I really took away was “Everything is created out of the darkness. Doing what your heart and soul are calling for is often what you need to grow and evolve. Sometimes this is found in the chaos and the darkness.” I encourage you to journal about this week.

Transforming Karma Worksheet located here: Transforming Karma Worksheet.pdf

My Child of Sorrow
I wasn’t there when you were born.
I didn’t squeeze you from between my thighs
Sweating and moaning and pushing.

I didn’t smile proudly at your arrival
I simply knew nothing of it since I wasn’t there
Oblivious living my own existence

I didn’t raise you or teach you
I didn’t form you into some version of myself
No presuppositions passed along

We didn’t play catch or chase
No tickle fights or bedtime stories told
You were not my child

I wasn’t there as you were broken
Bent under the weight of your difference
Shaped by a world of intolerance

Your fear and aloneness echoed
In lonely rooms, gymnasiums and prom dances
No one could hear the sound of it

But you stood, brave little fucker
You stood and lifted a finger to the world
Of people held captive by their notions

Your fear turned to rage
You came out of the closet swinging
Proving who your enemies were

Maybe you understood
What unconditional love feels like
Lucky one you were

Or perhaps you never got it
Never daring to dream you were worthy of such a gift
Giving up on acceptance

Maybe you settled for tolerance
For just not being battered and broken
But there’s hope yet

I wasn’t there then
But I am now and I love you dearly
I want to be your family

We are still different on the surface
But underneath our oneness lies quietly
A thermocline of warmer water

You are my son or daughter
Though in truth I’ve never gazed with love upon you
I imagine holding you

I wrap you in my long arms
Squeeze you tightly into my being
You belong here my child of sorrow

Maybe we’ll weep together
Crying out the pent-up brokenness
Or laugh until our sides ache

I’m finally here sweet darling
I love you and you’re worthy of it
Let’s walk together

Reclaim the broken kid inside
Let’s make the little fellow welcome
Child of sorrow no more.

In this week’s solo episode, I talk about the concept of "Seek to Understand." This is one of the biggest lessons I’ve personally been learning from my husband Andrew and it is life-changing - and I want to share it with you, too!

So often when someone doesn’t get back to us with a text or seems like they don’t want to work with you, we assume the worst. We take this small amount of information and make negative assumptions from there. Sound familiar? We all do this. But, what if instead of jumping to these negative conclusions or taking things personally, you reach out to gather more information. Often there’s more to the story. When you seek to understand instead of assuming, you open yourself up to a world of serious connection with others and a different outlook on relationships in your life.

Putting this into practice, here are your journal prompts:
- How can you release taking things personally?
- Instead of drawing conclusions, what if you keep asking questions until you have all the pieces of the puzzle?
- Think about where in your life you tend to take things really personally, and instead of holding onto that hostility, think about how you open up space for someone to be heard by simply asking questions and listening to what they say.

Whenever you initiate a big life change, you unlock a lot of inner work you have to do to overcome your fears, hesitations, and instead operate at your very best (and love it while you’re at it, too!) As Kelsey points out in the episode, self-discovery and pursuing a life you love don’t always mean you need to start a business!

Join us as we talk about:
- The moment she realized she needed to quit her job and start her business
- Why it's not always an overnight transformation. It took some time to get full alignment in her business and life
- How tapping into your superpowers and knowing yourself in all aspects of your life
- How you’re exactly where you need to be right now!

Hang on to the very end. In the post-show, I’ll leave you with valuable insights that you can start to apply right away, including:

In this week’s solo episode, I share The ONE perspective shift you need to make to transform your life and that’s this: Everything in your life happens for you, not to you.

This perspective shift is extremely hard to do, but once you make this leap, you can move forward in full confidence and pursue the life of adventure and fun that you want to lead!

The reason you are where you are right now is because of the decisions, habits, and beliefs you’ve had up to this point. But the decisions you make moving forward will shape what you’re living in tomorrow.

When you play the victim in your own life, you pass the blame to everyone else in your life. Instead, taking ownership over your life and committing to changing it will put you on a path to living a life of adventure and happiness. You’ll have the opportunity to make tomorrow different and more aligned with the life you want for yourself!

Here are your action steps:
- Journal prompt: Is there anywhere in your life you are not taking full responsibility?
- Your challenge for the week: No blaming, complaining, or getting defensive. Try to go a whole day or week. It will help you recognize it.
- Text me how this is going for you (the number is in the podcast) to join my texting community!

In this bonus solo episode, I explore the topic about the power of the people you surround yourself with.

We all have heard that you’re the sum of the five people you spend time with. Instead, you’re a product of the people you meet, the places you go, and the books you read.

People that come in and out of your life who are there to teach you something at a particular moment in your life. This shows up in so many different ways (a few powerful personal examples I share in this episode).

In this episode, I talk about how opening up your circle also opens yourself to different ways to being; how you can choose to see these experiences as learning opportunities; and share some tips for how to make small changes in your life daily that could open you up to new people and experiences. When you keep your circle small, it constricts your evolution!

Remember, “comfort in the moment might feel good, but it will also keep you stuck.”

Text me and share what you’ve done differently this week!

Create a life that sets your soul on fire!
Join me each week as we hear from people who have done exactly this in their own lives!

Our guest this week is Bethany Reyes, real estate and development entrepreneur. In this episode, we dove deep into topics like self love, loving others, and how to make brave choices. Give it a listen!

Join us and learn about: how to make brave choices and dealing with the response of everyone around you; prioritizing yourself and be clear on your intentions of your journey with others; the importance of having courageous conversations with others; why it's critical to love someone for who they are in the moment rather than asking them to change; taking the maxim “do no harm” we explore the difference between conditional love and unconditional love - especially for ourselves. Finally, we talk about caring and how boundaries come into play.

Bethany worked as a Clinical Social Worker for many years before transitioning her life and career to real estate. As a former single mother, Bethany had to make a brave choice to turn her life around at the age of 33. Now in the Top 1% of Realtors nationwide, Bethany has overcome many obstacles including PTSD. Last year Bethany tripled her business during a pandemic, founded The Better Co, her real estate and development company. In 2020, Bethany also became engaged and welcomed 5 more children into her life. Through it all she has learned that her core values of freedom, fun, wealth and authenticity are what set her heart on fire. She is determined to build a business and space that aligns with those values to best serve herself, her family, her team members, and her clients.

As always, in every episode, you’ll take away valuable insights you can apply in your own life!

Episode 3: Curiosity (Solo Episode)

In this bonus solo episode, I dive deep into the power of my favorite human superpower: Curiosity. We’re all born with this power, but while we’re growing up, we lose our innate sense of wonder. But if we can tap into our curiosity amazing things can happen. We often shy away from being curious - afraid of what we may uncover. But I’m here to tell you that there’s immense potential for growth and change in what we may uncover.

In this episode, I talk about how curiosity is replaced with impatience and why. I explore how you can put curiosity into practice in your life, and leave you with some questions to consider in your own life: Are your patterns serving you or holding you back? Could there be a different way or another solution? Are my behaviors and choices serving me?

If you’re not where you want to be, you have to be willing to get curious. Don’t let your impatience block you.

As always, in every episode, you’ll take away valuable insights you can apply in your own life!
