The reVision speaker series is a Guildhouse initiative bringing together creative minds from around the globe, to discuss contemporary arts practice. reVision has been curated as a covid response, enhancing connectivity, sustainability and well-being across the arts community. Working across narratives of adornment, costuming and social archetypes two mid-career artists discuss the power of their thematic and arts practice in the time of local and global unease.
With practice centred around conceptual and material adornment and transformation, both Liam Benson and Julia Robinson use the body as a vehicle to address societal expectations around cultural and gender politics. Kyneton-based artist and curator Kent Wilson directs an inspirational session on how to lead change and bond a regional community through art practice.
Wilson unpacks the research into festival and organisational structures that informed his thinking while dreaming up Kyneton Contemporary Art Triennial. A festival that situated Kyneton on the contemporary art map and provided a meeting place outside of a capital city for artists to meet and create with equity.

Two internationally renowned artists working in glass, Adelaide-based Clare Belfrage and Kokatha and Nukunu artist Yhonnie Scarce share personal insights into The Role of the Artist within the community and as a political and social agent.
As arts leaders and teachers Belfrage and Scarce discuss the inherent collaborative nature of working with glass, and the community collaboration has built. The artists unpack their own personal narrative within their works, and the boundaries of responsibility when voicing environmental, social and political issues.
