Sometimes we look at the people around us and compare ourselves to them. Even in our Christain walk, we compare ourselves to others. We think wow, they've read the entire bible, wow, they serve on the worship team, wow, they get up every day to pray at 5am....whatever it may be, we compare ourselves and in result don't believe that we are worthy, or we have a deep connection with Christ.
I'd like to remind you that no matter what things may seem on the outside, no matter how much more people may be doing in church than you, God has buried treasure just for you. He has revelation, creative ideas, plans and unique gifts reserved just for you. But you are going to have to dig for them. Dig beneath the surface to find the buried treasure. Dig and then dig some more.

Wow!! God is so cool. He uses everything we do and experience to help teach us a lesson. Right now my husband and I are planting vegetables from seeds. And during this process He has been teaching us about being patient and about how everything has a process and a waiting period.
During this time, I have also learned about the Chinese bamboo seed and it's mind blowing!! Talk about process and patience!! God has been revealing that it's during the waiting periods of our lives when He is doing the most work within us and in our "right now" world, waiting is uncomfortable.

The narrow gate. Many have been called, only few have been chosen. Like most people, I followed the wide gate, the wordly gate, the gate, the path that leads to nothing but destruction and heartache. And because of my stubborn ways, I continued to repeat the cycle for years, and yet still wondered why I had no peace, no lasting joy, no freedom.
But one day, by the grace of God I was found. I was introduced to Jesus. I surrendered my life and suddenly things began to change. Not necessarily things around me, but inside me. I began to see the world from a different perspective; I began to see the wickedness and perversion. I began to understand why I always felt so empty chasing after temporary highs. The love of Jesus radically changed my heart and not long after I found myself on the narrow path chasing after a God that created me with purpose for a purpose.
I pray through this recording that you too are lead to the narrow path and never look back.

Most of us have heard the story of Jonah. Even if you weren't raised in church, we know the story of how Jonah was swallowed by a whale and lived for 3 days. But what about all the other details of the story leading up to the whale. What about the part where the prophet Jonah was sent on an assignment from God and he ran in the opposite direction 2500 miles.
Have you ever ran from God...are you still running from God? Is He trying to get your attention and call you back home? The story of Jonah is relatable in so many ways, and most of us have missed all the details before Jonah gets swallowed by the whale.
So, I'd love you have you listen and learn a part of the story that just might remind you of yourself and learn the lessons from Jonah so you can avoid the storm.

There are things that we do and say that are damaging for years and years, sometimes these things are done and said through wickedness and hatred and others are done and said innocently, but nevertheless they can have a lasting impact on our lives and the lives that come behind us.
But the good news is that we have the power to change it for ourselves and for future generations and that's powerful. Step one is awareness so listen as I speak of the 12 causes of curses and understand the impact you can have negatively or positively.

Back in 2017, I must admit I was fooled by the girl power, empower girls, independent woman movement. I was oblivious and uneducated of the hidden meaning behind it all. This is when many music artists were coming out with music related to the topic and I was in the mix. But of course, I thought for all the right reasons. Now, I realize the movement is supportive of extreme and radical feminism and it's not in line with the word of God.
Of course, we as girls/woman should support and encourage each other, but we must also understand boys/men's role in our lives as well and how they play an important part. In this episode I am vulnerable and share how I was swept up in a world that I don't want to have any part of.
I encourage you to ask more questions, seek out the Holy Spirit for guidance and do your own research so you don't fall victim to propaganda that is sweeping our nation today.

How many times have you prayed for something that you really wanted, and you didn't feel that God was moving fast enough so you decided to take things into your own hands? You rushed the process; you decided you were the best person for the job, you tried to play God...what happened? Did it all crumble and fall?
That's my experience! I thought that I needed to take matters into my own hands because God's timeline was matching up with mine, and then suddenly I found myself in a huge mess. Wait on the Lord. Trust in Him. Step aside and allow Him to have His perfect way. He hears you, He knows your situation and He has the best plan at the best time. Surrender and have faith. It's the best life lesson I can share with you.

What is your definition of "best" friend? What earns your friend that title? What separates your best friend(s) from your friend? How or when did they become your best friend? Was it something they said or did?
What characters do you look for in your friends? Do you have many or few? These are all important questions you should be able to answer. Friendship is important, but not everyone should earn that title so quickly.
The best illustration I can think of about friendship comes from Luke 5:17-26. Listen in or read it yourself. We all deserve and need friends like this.

We are the beacon of hope, we are to share our story with others so they can find hope in theirs. We have no idea the impact that we have on others. Your testimony just may save someone life. It's meant to shared, it spreads hope and inspiration to others. It encourages others to stay in the fight.

Wow! This podcast is a Spiritual Reality Check. This podcast was inspired by a devotional I read. I found it so powerful, I wanted to share!
If you're anything like my family, we show up to church on average 2 to 4 times per week depending on the season. Which is great! But how we show up is important. Do we show up just to show up....do we show up because we have an obligation...do we show up to check the box....or do we show up to get closer to God?
Once we get there are we present, engaged, hungry for a word...do we show up expecting for God to meet us there? Or do we show up physically, but we are somewhere else mentally?
The truth is, we can't fake it with God. He knows our inner thoughts, our motives, our heart...let's be real, He knows it all. Is He pleased with how we show up or is He disappointed that we don't find Him exciting enough to keep our attention?
During this podcast I pray you reflect on how you show up, what you offer to God and if you need to make some adjustments.

So many of us walk around this earth wondering what is my purpose? Why am I here? In Matthew 5:13 Jesus answers that question for us. He illustrates our purpose, and guess what?? It's not all about what we want or what we think we need. It's not what the world tries to tell us or make us believe, it's simple yet complicated because we live in a dark world.

The story in Luke Chapter 13, where Jesus heals a Woman on the sabbath spoke to me. The specific versus, versus 12, where it says Jesus saw her, He called her over and healed her. It reminds me that no matter what we may be experiencing, how alone we may feel or how insecure we might be, Jesus sees us. He sees us just as we are, right where we are. Not only does He see us, but He has the power to heal us. All we have to do is come to Him.
I want to encourage you that Jesus, Our Lord and Savior sees you. He knows you, He created you and He has a plan for you. Freedom is just one decision away.

Do you know anything about the life of an eagle? I didn't, and then I came across a video about the life of an eagle and instantly God used it as an illustration of our journey with Him.
Throughout our lives, multiple times, we must get rid of our old selves so a new one can emerge. And often times it's a painful process. It's hard to let go of things that make us feel comfortable, things we know, people we love. The story of an eagles life is very similar to ours, there comes a point where we have a decision to make...to either let go of the past and step into a better future, or keep doing the same thing, being the same person and die in our own misery.
I don't know about you, but I'd rather go through a painful process that is temporary so I can experience freedom and joy on the other side. God has promised us a better life when we walk with Him, when we choose Christ and turn our back on sin, we become new and the best versions of ourselves.

The thrill of anything new, YES, including boys is only temporary. Things can only be new for so long and then, well they become normal and sometimes even boring.
I know, it seems like everyone around has a boyfriend and they are happy in puppy love. But the truth is, being a in relationship at a young age before you really even know yourself is dangerous. You forget that you have your whole life to date, flirt and find the right partner. Don't rush a good thing!
God has a plan for you...and yes that includes boys. You are worth too much to just date anyone, you deserve the best, the very best partner for you. Throughout your teenage years, all you should be concerned about is getting to know yourself and drawing closer to God. Ask God to prepare your husband for you and allow Him to prepare you to be his wife. Trust His timing and trust that His match making skills are far greater than yours or anyone else's. God wants what you want, but His timing is not our timing, focus on yourself rather than finding a boyfriend and understand that all the emotions and thrill of something or someone new, is only new for a short period of time and then you have to deal with what's left.

This beautiful life we live is not always easy. Sometimes the situations and circumstances we face can be overwhelming, scary, confusing....you name it, we've probably felt it. But Jesus came so that we can have life and have it more abundantly. He does not want us worried about tomorrow, He wants to be a part of our tomorrow. He wants us to have enough faith to trust that He's got everything under control. Our worry for tomorrow only ruins our peace for today. God is sovereign. He is the creator of everything...including us, which means He has the answer for everything. There is no reason for us to be anxious about anything, instead He tells us to pray about everything. We are not alone!
God is for us, not against us. Lean into this message and be reminded of how we must find joy in each day and surrender to God.

First of all, my apologies for a rough recording. But I wanted to get this posted.
If you read through scripture, you will read that over and over again God calls on people that don't seem like the best candidates, maybe they seem unqualified, unprepared or weak. You see God isn't looking for talented, pretty, strong, abled people....He's looking for people to say yes.
Each one of us were created on purpose for a purpose. We are all formed by the hand of God. God knew us all of us intimately before he formed us in the womb. He chose us in Christ. We each have unique gifts, skills and talents that are meant to be used for the kingdom. We must understand that if God called us to it, then He will equip us to do it.
The enemies biggest fear is that you will actually believe the word of God and the things He’s promised to you and fulfill your purpose. Seek God and ask Him, why am I here. Then step in with courage to the calling He has for your life.

John 16:7 Jesus tells His disciples that it's better if He goes away so The Holy Spirit will come. Imagine being one of His disciples, they were probably confused after witnessing miracle after miracle...thinking how can anything/anyone be better than you Jesus.
But The Holy Spirit reminded me that as beautiful as it was that the disciples got to know Jesus and walk around with Jesus, His deity was limited to His humanity. Meaning He could only perform miracles to wherever He was physically located. So, when Jesus rose from the dead and went to be with His father in heaven, He sent us The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the 3rd part of the trinity. He is our access to Jesus here on earth.
We have full access to The Holy Spirit at anytime, anywhere. It's so beautiful to think that we can all be talking to Him at the same time all across the world. We can speak to Him and He can speak to us. He will meet us wherever we are. It's so powerful! We are truly never alone.
The Holy Spirit is our helper, our protector, our counselor, our advocate,...He brings peace, direction, comfort and correction. All we need to do is call upon Him and invite Him into our lives.

Not many people like this word. Not many people like being held accountable for what they've done. Especially in our society now, people are brain washed into believing that anything goes, that they can do and be whatever and whoever they want because it's their body and their life. But the simple truth is that, we have a level of accountability to ourselves, each other and mostly to God. And nothing is hidden from God.
Accountability is an important character trait. Holding yourself accountable to your words, actions and mistakes is an important part of maturing and growing into a better person. It's a process and it includes humility, forgiveness and grace.
Do you hold yourself accountable to things you've done wrong, or to people you've hurt? What about to the commitments you've made? How well do you take constructive feedback from others? Do you value the people around you? All good questions to ask yourself all throughout your life. We must learn to hold ourselves accountable and to own up to our mistakes so we can learn and grow.

Unfortunately most of us have experienced some type of trama. And most of us deal with it in two ways. Either we continue to relive the trama and remain a viticum or we hide or run from it. Neither of these are healthly options.
In this podcast, I share 3 vitial steps to healing, with a reminder that God is the ultamate healer and restorer and He has plans to do just that if you will allow Him to. Life is not easy and it's defiantly unfair, especially when we experience trama in our youth and we are not sure how to process it, face it or heal from it.
But we are not alone in our suffering and God always has a way of bringing us out into an abundant life while using our story as a powerful testimony that will help inspire and help others. We need to do our part and allow God to do the rest. Healing is just around the corner.

Today, you, I and roughly 8 million people woke up with the same choice. No matter your background, your social status, the neighhoood you live in, the car you drive, your race, how many followers you have on social media, we all woke up with the same choice. The choice to follow Jesus Christ or to follow the world. We woke up with free will, the choice to choose. The most beautiful and dangerous thing God gave us. You see He won’t force us to worship Him, praise Him, walk with Him, He won’t even force us to acknowledge Him, He is so perfect that He allows us the freedom to choose.
Be a bold disciple! Choose Christ over the world. Do the right thing over the easy thing, and stand strong knowing that God will see you through everything.

You see every good story, good movie and good book include events, storms, trails and tribulation, it’s what draws us in, it’s compelling, it’s inspiring to learn about how the character prevails and overcomes. We all love the underdog. Now then why is it, that when storms come into our own lives we are quick to become discouraged and hopeless? Why do we allow the situation to become bigger than our God. We’ve got to change our perspective and stop viewing ourselves as a victim and start seeing the storm as an opportunity to become a victor.
Hardships build our character, they prepare us for the future. They become part of our story, our testimony. They help inspire others and remind us who God is.

The tongue holds the power of life and death. God created the heaven and earth by His word. Words matter! They can build you up or tear you down, they can encourage and inspire others around us or they can destroy hope and dreams.
Isn't it always such a better time when you are surrounded by positive people? It's contagious. It's much harder to be feeling down when you are surrounded by hope and joy. Well, it's the same for negative people. It's hard to have hope when you are surrounded by the hopeless.
God lays this out for us so perfectly in Numbers chapter 13 when God tells Moses to send out spies to scope out the land of Canaan. After exploring the land for forty days, the Men returned to Moses, sharing of the abundance of milk and honey and filled with delicious fruit. Caleb tried to quite some of the other Men, because he knew of all the good things the land produced and the promise God made. But some other Men were too focused on the people they would have to overcome, they said we even saw giants there, we felt like grasshoppers. And suddenly the hope that Caleb shared turned to fear and they became hopeless.
We must be bold, be brave, be fearless and stand on the promises of the Lord.

Freewill....something that God so graciously gave to us all. Freedom to choose...freedom to choose to follow Him or follow the world. I think it's so beautiful that God gave us the choice to choose. He doesn't force us to honor Him and worship Him, even though He is our creator. That speaks volumes about His character. That alone makes me want to serve and follow Him. You see, He wants us to follow Him because we choose to follow Him...not because we have to.
So, every day we wake up with the same choice all around the world...to follow Christ or to follow the world. The world offers temporary satisfaction and Christ offers eternal life. There is nothing about God that is temporary, God is forever, everlasting and He offers us everything we need for this life and the next. What will you choose today...Christ or the world?

It's really hard to hear the voice of God when you've already decided what you want Him to say. Too many times we get in the way of God's direction because we convivence ourselves that we already know what's best for us...so either we ask for Him to speak, but then go our own way, or we don't ask at all. Both are dangerous.
It's important that we come to God, expecting to hear from God and then we are obedient to God's word, even if it doesn't make sense. We must trust His plan for our lives and understand that He knows our future, He knows what's best for us, even when we don't know. It's about trust, faith and being brave as we step into something new.
Don't forget to pray, ask God for Him to speak, and then listen.

If the world hates you, keep in mind it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as it's own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.
Being separated from the world is to be closer to Christ. And it does not mean the journey will be easy...but you will be satisfied. You may be teased, pushed away, bullied and abandoned because your different from what the world tells you you should be and what's important. Separate yourself from the world and gain favor with God, watch Him prepare a seat at the table with your enemies, watch Him protect you, build your character and prepare you for your purpose. The world will not understand you, but you will live with God for eternity. You get to choose.

The first thing you may be thinking when you read the title withdrawals and deposits is your bank account. Makes sense...because we withdraw and deposit money into our bank accounts, but today I would like you to consider looking at it from a different perspective.
Consider depositing and withdrawing from peoples lives. Take a minute and think about how you interact with others around you. Did you know how dangerous, reckless and sinful self-pity is? Self-pity is when you completely take God out of the equation and put yourself above Him. When you don't believe that He can turn around your circumstance or use it for good. When you don't care to listen to the voice of reason or hope...instead all you focus on is how terrible you feel and how bad you feel for yourself. Unfortunately, we've all been there...that place where you give up all hope and feel like you're picked on and nothing goes right.
But that's where we are wrong. It always blows my mind how quickly we forgot all the times God came through for us! All the times He made a way when we didn't see any way! All the times His plan was better and the times He held us and waited for us to come to Him.
Self-pity will only make things worse for you and everyone around you. Listen in as I share my experience with my friend that caused me to get deeper into thoughts and understanding of how dangerous self-pity is and how our friendship will only grow when we speak the truth no matter how hard it may be.

Words hold power. Therefore, your confession changes things. Use caution when speaking about yourself and others. Visualize a chain and each time you speak something negative you add another link to the chain, and you drag that chain around with you every day. You can either make the chain lighter or heavier depending upon our daily confession.
Protect your eyes and ears from the things you watch and hear. You become a product of your environment. Feed your mind and spirit things which are good and pure.
And lastly, find your peace and protect your peace. Having a clear and stable mind is far more precious than rubies and gold. Make better choices.

Our thoughts that come at us like tidal waves, crashing into our emotions causing us to become reactive in the moment. Mad, sad, offended, hurt, defeated, overwhelmed, depressed, hopeless....all of those negative feelings tied to our thoughts after we feel that we've lost the battle.
We MUST put on the armor of God...the full armor of God to stand our ground against the enemy. Our greatest armor is God's word found in scripture....the word that defeats ALL the lies of the enemy. The word of truth that reminds us who we are and who's we are. The word that reminds us the battle has already been won and thru His blood and stripes the victory is ours.
We are at war, everyday....all day. The enemy wants our souls and he comes to kill, steal an destroy. But for those of us that chose to put on the armor of God will win the battle every single time.

Of course, Glory to God that nothing is wasted and He was able to reroute me and use my experiences for good. But if I can help save you some wasted time by encouraging you to stay on the path, I can assure your life will be fuller and richer because of it.
The Holy Spirit is our GPS, He guides us and tells us which way to go. But when we make a wrong turn it takes us longer to reroute to the right path.

So...in this podcast I share how He used a big white dog in a little truck to illustrate our relationship with Him....or mine anyway. Main point...He is always speaking, teaching, comforting and loving us no matter where we are, no matter what we are doing, God is always there...but we don't acknowledge Him, therefore we do not hear Him. So we jump out of the truck and venture out on our own because we think He's forgotten about us. When in reality He was there all along, we are just too impatient to wait and listen.

He uses social media, news, teachers, friends, and even our family to keep us from discovering the truth.
The enemy wants to keep us depressed, medicated, addicted, lost and afraid. Why? All because he wants to keep us as far from God as possible. He is the father of lies and manipulation, he is at war for our mind and soul and he will stop at no cost to try to take you as his.
The enemy doesn't want you to know that God knew you before He formed you in your Mother's womb. Therefore, He created you with purpose and intention prior to sending you to earth. He knows every detail about you, down to the number of hairs on your head. He deeply loves and cares for each of us and there is NOTHING that can keep Him from us, but ourselves. Yes, ourselves....because He gave us free will....the ability to choose. So, stop believing the lies of the enemy and start seeking out the truth. The truth found in Jesus, look at His life, the way He chose to come into the earth, the people He chose to use for His kingdom. Pick up a bible today, start a new journey. Discover pure love and joy and you learn about why you are special and why you are chosen.

Minding your own business also means minding your own business about how others think about you. When you are a child of God, it doesn't matter what others say or think about you. When you know you are a child of God, then you know yourself, believe in yourself and love yourself. Validation from others outside of God isn't needed.
It also requires you to become a better listener and think more before you speak. James 1:19 - check it out! Meditate on it.

That's why we need you to help us understand how we can be better parents, and exactly what you need, so we can do our jobs better.
We need your grace, your understanding and your forgiveness. There may be many of you out there that are feeling lost, uncertain or unworthy. You may trying new things, new friends, new hair styles, new clothes....all just trying to find something that you like about yourself. Well....I know about it all too well, because I was that teenager.
My parents missed all the signs of me crying out for help. Not because they didn't love me and want the best for me, but because they were busy providing for us and I didn't just straight out tell them that I needed help.
Please understand we are not perfect, we make mistake too. So please, come to us and tell us what you're experiencing so that we can help.
If you don't feel that you have parents or guardians that care, try to speak with a teacher, a coach, a counselor or a friend. But the BEST resource is God. He will give the best care, comfort and advice and the best part is, you can talk to Him anytime, anywhere. There's no right or wrong way to pray. He just wants to hear from you. Try it.

I get vulnerable about a situation that recently happened to me in hopes to connect with you. To remind you that just because life isn't fair doesn't mean there's no hope.
Or what if when you feel like you are the only one doing the right thing, maybe with homework, a test, a sport or anything that requires a level of integrity and there are people around you who are cheating or going about it the wrong way seems to be the one recognized and/or celebrated and you're left feeling confused and frustrated.

Sure, most of us know that our experiences is what makes us who we are. They shape our character, our thoughts, our ideas, our beliefs, our boundaries and so much more.
So...with that in mind, have you ever stopped to think that just because you wouldn't do something or say something because of your experiences, it doesn't mean that someone else had that same experience. So, they may have said something or done something that offended you, but didn't intend for you to take it that way.
All of this stems from a conversation with my youngest daughter. She shared her wisdom with me about an experience we had at home. She helped me to realize that just because I was shocked by a neighbor's actions doesn't mean it was rude. Maybe she had different experiences.
She reminded me to give grace and consider a different perspective...just as Jesus does for us multiple times per day. Let's be a reflection of Him.

And it got me thinking....is our environment limiting our potential? Have we become so comfortable in our current environment that we have stopped growing. Has fear, insecurities, worry and doubt robed us of our full potential? Have we become so comfortable being comfortable that we keep ourselves in in an environment that limits our potential to grow?
That is not what God created us for. He has put everything we need within us to flourish, to grow, to make a difference, to bring Him glory, but yet we stay in limited environments because we are afraid of our full potential. Wow! How can we call ourselves believers when we don't exercise faith?
So....I don't know about you, but I want to grow....I want to accomplish what God sent me here to do, why he gave me life. Because we were ALL made for more.

I look at them and thank God every day that they are better than me, wiser than me, more confident than me and braver than me. They are both completely different than I was growing up. And the biggest difference between me then and them now is Jesus!
I never knew Jesus growing up, so I was lost and depressed. Both of my daughters have a personal relationship with Jesus and it is evident in everything they do and everything they are. Glory to God.
In this short podcast I share a story that goes far beyond the surface. A simple decision that my daughter made, but a decision that most of us are too insecure and afraid to make. A decision that proves she is confident in who she is and want she wants.

Jesus spoke in parables to His disciples. Many non-believers of His time did not understand His parables or his teachings. I believe it is because they did not believe He was/is the son of God. I don't think it is much different for us today reading His word in the bible. Unless we believe Jesus is the one and only savior, accept Him into our heart, seek Him daily, and ask for the Holy Spirit to help translate His word then we too may have a hard time understanding His parables, His word, His teachings.
So...we must be hungry for the word of God! We must get to know Him on a deeper level and allow His will to be done in our lives. Listen to this podacast and find your hunger.

It was then when my perspective changed. When I witnessed all the wounds, the scars, the pain were actually turned into my biggest weapons. Thru those wounds I found my confidence, my strength, my purpose....pretty much everything that I love about myself now. Lol, who knew?
You see God is perfect, He makes no mistakes. When you love Him, serve Him and trust in Him...you witness things come together in the most unlikely way. That's when you grow and when your relationship with the Lord gets even deeper.

Hope is critical to the human experience. Hope is what keeps us going...it keeps us focused on the good things ahead vs the darkness or turmoil we may be facing. Hope is what keeps us looking forward to a better day, a better future. We must have hope. You can go days without water and weeks without food....but you won't last long without hope. Happy New Year! I've been praying about this new year and asking for guidance. The word I was given was intentional. God was and is very intentional with everything He does and so He expects us to be the same.
In this podcast I share a few ways to be intentional this new year. Hopefully you have a task, a goal or a dream you are working to achieve this year and the best way to do it is to keep God in first place. You can start by being intentional about your Spiritual life which includes reading His word and praying daily. Thats where insecurities come from, depression comes from, jealousy comes from, lust comes from and the list goes on and on....everything evil and opposite of God.

Gossip is poison plain and simple. Unfortunately, most of us have experienced gossip in our lives at one point or another and it always ends the same way.....broken trust, broken hearts and broken relationships.

I hope this podcast sheds some light on the blessing behind the curfew. I remember as a teenager always being rebellious and not respecting my Parents and their rules. I thought they were being mean and strict when I had a curfew but the friends I hung with did not. I often pushed the limits and put my Parent through hell and by doing so I paid heavy consequences.
I was ignorant and I thought I knew everything. When in actuality my Parents had rules, curfews and expectations put in place because they loved me and they wanted to protect me. It was completely opposite of what I thought I knew. Listen in and gain a better understanding.

From your news feed, text messages, phone calls, emails, family, etc....How good are you at avoiding the distractions? The enemy is slick and sly, he comes in like a thief in the night and he will use anything he can to distract us from accomplishing our purpose. He doesn't want us to progress, so we need to take control by becoming very aware of his traps and stop allowing ourselves to fall into them. Do you know your default? What do you run or turn to in trying times? In times of stress, doubt, fear, confusion, etc? What do you find comfort in? Is it healthy or destructive? Until you begin to learn exactly how you respond to different situations then you will continue to repeat the cycle.

We live in an interesting time. A time where we are required to wear masks that cover up a majority of our faces, including our smiles...a time where we are asked to stand 6 feet apart and expected to get vaccinated. It doesn't matter what your thoughts or beliefs are about all of it, what matters is the way it is causing division and distance from society.
I encourage you to hit pause and take a moment to think about the way our new "normal" has impacted you and the people around you. Discover new ways you can still connect with people, a way you can express your kindness at a distance and your smile through the mask. How can you continue to shine your light? Becoming a mindful eater will help in aiding weight, mood, energy and perspective. Eating or fueling our bodies is far more important than we realize and it's something we do multiple times per day. So...just as we become more mindful over our thoughts, let's become more mindful of what we eat and how we eat.

You have to learn about who you are, what you need, what you love, what you hate, what you will allow, what you won't, what brings you joy, what comforts you in time of need and how you can recharge your spirt on your own. This is important because we are all human and if you count on others to provide those things to you, you will always be left feeling disappointed or empty.
When you love yourself and know yourself you are able to ensure your own happiness therefore anything extra that the person your in a relationship with gives to you is a great bonus. And your able to give them something that they enjoy too without leaving yourself feeling empty. So spend time alone and connect with the inner spirt that lives within.

Seasons always change...they always come and go. Growth requires change. Different seasons throughout your life causes you to grow, change and evolve. Sometimes the season we are in makes us feel joyful, excited, happy and/or hopeful, while other seasons are overwhelming, confusing, hard and/or scary. My daughter taught me a life lesson when she 8 years old, and it's caused me to wake up and show more compassion towards others. So, I figured this a story worth sharing.
