When you look to the horizon, what do you see? Who do you look to when difficult time comes?
As Christians where do we get our source of power from? Having it from God requires an understanding of him and his word.
When we sing songs or praise and worship, there are some things we have to keep in mind to properly give God the praise and worship he deserves.
How you think affects how you behave. Changing the way we think will drastically out life.
What priorities do you build your foundation on? Christians should find solace and guidance from a power that is unshakable and irrefutable.
We have expectations and hope that are still holding us back from the true healer and miracle worker.
How can one spread the good news and the greatness of God if one does not even know him? If we truly love and are faithful to God, we should study and understand his word so that when we carry out his works, we are doing so in confidence that it will bring joy to God.
There is no reason to worry or be afraid because God ultimately has the final authority in our lives. What he says or promise will happen in his perfect time.
There are to reasons why we need to deepen our roots in God. To be built up in him and deeply rooted in him. Let's explore those reasons in this message.
Why is there pain and suffering in this world? We all ask this question but does God have an answer?
Who are we deceived by? How are we deceived? Are we already deceived? Let's go back to the bible to find out the truth.
What does it take to go on a great adventure with God? Are you on that adventure already?
What separates us Christians from the rest of the world? The light, the salt, the way we carry ourselves and the ways we behave. If we are so called 'renewed' by Christ, we should be distinct in the way we live.
Fences aren't supposed to restrict your freedom but keep you safe from the enticing call to be a slave to your desires.
Who calls upon you to get up every morning? The one who loved you so much that they sacrificed their one and only son on the cross? Remember to seek God first and the pleasures of the world last.
Do not underestimate the power of a congregation that is brought together by God's love; the role of a church can have deep and profound effects on a person's life.
God has a warning for those who take him for granted. It is for our own good that we heed this warnings. It is never too late to repent and come back to God.
When you have God living in you, we should have that zeal that comes with believing in Jesus.
Our mothers are a source of comfort and protection but how do they have such loving traits? Where should we turn our eyes to when it comes to perfect love?
Have you hit that part of your Christian life when you are just tired and you have stopped growing in your faith. Let's discover what we should do and why it happens in our Christian life.
How do you spend your time with the Lord? It is paramount to understand his word and teachings while sharing them with to others in order to carry out the purpose God has given to us.
Who is the Lord to you? Where does he fit in your life, and how you behave and view the world?
Don't come to the Lord seeking an experience but seek a closer relationship with him, or else your faith will be dullen and the fire within you will grow weary.
It was on this day that Christ overcame death and gave us hope. No matter what hardships we face in our lives, Jesus shows us that nothing is impossible when we seek him; stay faithful.
If you have been called to shepherd your flock, you have a great responsibility. Whether it be a small family to a large church, you are to be ministers of Christ and do so, we need to be Christ-like so that those that look up to us will follow the right example.
Do not underestimate the power of the Word, as God's word holds an infinite scale of power and wisdom, read and digest what he share with us so that we may not cause harm with our own words.
The world is full of deceitful corruption and when exposed to the truth, many may find great pain but it is something we all must face and it is our reaction that determines whether or not we accept the truth.
Judgment day is on it's way and it's going to change life as we know it forever. Do not let yourself and your loved ones be on the wrong side of God's graces when that day inevitably arrives.
God has already written down what will happen in the future. The question is, "are you in the winning side?"
When God says 'I will', his power will come into full effect. He keeps his promises yesterday, today and tomorrow no matter what or else he will cease to be God.
Our God is a powerful God, one that has reigned far before us and will continue to do so far after us. His wisdom is more vast than the deepest parts of space and yet he chose to show us his mercy and grace. We should not take this eternality for granted and study and spend time with him regularly.
A new life, a new year with God. Let us use this time to renew and refresh our life with God and bring it to the next level.
Every Christmas, we should be reminded that Jesus came to save us all. That gift of salvation is something we cannot get on our own. A gift of all gifts, nothing can compare to this gift. Let us accept it and let it change our lives.
The problems that plague our lives aren't always about how we maintain our relationship with God, sometimes it's about why? Is your heart in the right place? Remember that God has given you the greatest gift anyone could ever give.
Christmas is a time for love, but where did that love come from? No matter how expensive your gift this year is, it will only decay and be forgotten. But remember, when you receive and share the love of God it will last for eternity.
As Christians we we should be pursuing God and the understanding of his character, so that we may better follow his commandments and grow more Christ-like with a more enriching knowledge of the Bible.
Follow the word of God, not men, even if it's about God, don't allow yourself to be deceived when you have the capacity to research. Even when in doubt, take that step to find the truth, as our God is a living God of wisdom.
In the end, what can you really rely on in this world? In this imperfect world, things and people will fail us one day. But not with God. So no matter how bad it gets, let us continue to trust God.
Don't be afraid to take upon the role of a leader, but do so in humility and honesty. Allow the sick and fearful to feel comfort around you, for the younger generation: do not let others look down on you because of your age.
As Christians we should stay faithful to God and his many truths. When we are in bondage or hardship, we should face towards him for healing and comfort, while helping others to do the same.
If you feel like the world doesn't accept you, remember that you are loved, and that you belong to a family, one that unites in the faith of Jesus Christ. Amen.
What is your calling? Are you really taking the initiative and patience to achieve your goals? Pray that your priorities right with your faith, and in God's time we will see, and only in his time alone.
Trust in the Lord that everything will be set right, in his own time, and in his time alone. We can try to rush our lives or seek worldly satisfactions but the infinite and overflowing love of God will arrive when he wills it.
Be wary of the tongue that rests in your mouth as it is capable of great blessings and great harm. A sharpened tongue can comfort and bring glory to God, but without proper control, it can burn bridges and tear apart communities.
Where do you get your happiness from? Are you finding delight in the Lord or the world? Be wary of where you life is heading by the paths you choose.
Hate the sin but love to forgive it, it takes a great deal of humility and restraint to forgive and not put ourselves above those that struggle with sin. To welcome and understand one another and help each other grow in Christ, is a blessing that can't be found when we divide ourselves.
The world is full temptations and pitfalls, how can we resist them without the grace of God? Stay near to God, he will protect.
It can be tempting to rely on our own strength and mind to fulfil our goals, however we are not perfect and we our flawed wisdom will always fall short to God's infinite ability to council us with our lives.
What does it mean to be a father? Are we happy with being the head of our family? What kind of an influence are we having on our family's future?
The world is full of distractions and daily stresses, but we should never lose sight of where our security and strength comes from. Our foundation should always be from God.
The choices we make add up, and it is up to us to choose where we see ourselves in the future. To stray from God or to stray from our vices, it all starts with the type of life style we practice and where our priorities lie.
If you are a Christian rejoice in the knowledge that God's unwavering love and Christ's salvation will always be guaranteed for you, today and tomorrow, unlike the unpredictable and everchanging world that surrounds us.
Salvation can't be earned through good works alone, his love discriminates none and his strength is available to all. Do not falter when your body and mind grow weary for it is him that we get all our strength from, and in return lift his name higher.
Life is full of troubles, but there is only one reliable source of refuge, and that is in God's presence.
Stay close to the Lord and stay cautious of anything that can pollute our minds and hearts with sin. Do not underestimate the power of the spirit in cleansing us of the temptations and problems that plague our lives.
Worship the Lord Jesus with all your heart, and he will guide you, and keep you ready when hard times and temptations are abound.
Last week's message was about having great faith, but where do we place it in? Or more accurately who do we place it in? Jesus is the only one that will never cease to comfort us amidst our suffering in the world. His love is undying and never failing.
As children of Christ, are we truly placing all our faith in God? Is he not worthy of all our trust, despite breathing the miracle of life in all of us, shaping us and growing us to become the people we are today?
It is inevitable to go through suffering but what will you choose to suffer for? Life is full of great trials and tribulations, but it is up to you to let God turn it into a something that can help grow you on your walk with him.
It was Christ who died for our sins, staying faithful and compassionate in the midst of great misery and suffering. He died with his love for us. What are we doing to show our love for him?
How much is Christianity apart of your identity? It's important that we carve time in our day for the Lord, as the more we stay close to him, the more we stay away from the world, and it's vices. Serving the Lord and not of earthly desires.
When do desires turn into disaster? We all have needs, and it can be perfectly legitimate needs, but never make yourself more valuable to the world than the Lord.
Kingdom before Comfort.

Today is the day to celebrate the blessings that a mother brings to her family. To the husbands and children, it is a reminder the treat our wives and mothers with great respect and thoughtfulness.
When we praise the Lord, we do it with all our heart and soul. Let go of any pride or worry, focus on Jesus all through out the week, not just on a Sunday for, this pleases the Lord.
The world is full of struggles and it's only going to get worse. But that only highlights the importance of equipping the armour of God all the more. Do you know what they are?
Whether we know it or not, we are at war. Not in the conventional kind but one of spiritual importance. We need to put on the armour of God and stay strong in Christ.
We have been called by God to use the gifts and talents that have been blessed to us to glorify him. Don't lose sight of what he has planned for you in times of uncertainty.

Is two better than one?
Although Jesus was God, together, He chose to use man to carry out his work . He taught, instructed, fellowshipped and most importantly He served with His disciples and the result was Extraordinary.
Once we open our hearts to God's amazing grace, we open our lives up to experience the extraordinary move of God within our lives.
God uses the ordinary to accomplish His extraordinary plan. We must be open to God's call no matter how small it may seem.
In marriage, you made a promise. That promise to stay together till death is a promise you need to keep. That's promise you made to each other and to God.
When we make decisions, it is important that we seek council with an open mind. We need to be willing to take advice from those we trust, whether we like what we hear or not.
Life is full of decisions, but when it come to making the right ones, God can lead you to the best one, if you're willing to listen. Seeking council with the right people, is also something to think about.
Life can be full of miracles and the supernatural, but when we follow God and his guidance, we mustn't misinterpret the normal everyday for the spectacular and miraculous. Sometimes God can be in our lives in more subtle ways.
The key to make Good decisions starts with God. Seek God first to guide us and be willing to obey what God wants us to do before he tells us what to do.
Life is full of decisions, but how do we make the right ones? Where do we go when we need guidance?
As Christians we are destined to be a different from the world, however we must have that desire to change and improve the way we think and reflect.
It's a New Year, it's a new you. Seek to change the way you behave and think, for the better.
Christmas can be an emotional and sentimental time of the year, but do not let that blind you from what it is truly about.
We may not always understand God's plans for us, but we must have faith that he will make a way for us, even through the deepest of seas.
Stress and discomfort can often reflect our levels of maturity. Seek the opportunity for growth and reflection. Find comfort that God will never give you anything that you cannot handle.
Life is full of distractions, and they're not always bad. Some may in fact be urgent and important. However, it is up to us to choose what takes priority, spending our time on the things that matter the most.
Christians who lack strong Biblical knowledge show signs of spiritual immaturity. How can we believe in something that we can't even grasp properly?
We need to be mature unless we are to be controlled by our emotions and desires. Even if we are old, it does not guarantee us maturity.
Looks can be deceiving, open your heart and mind, and perceive the true nature that hides beneath the world's veneer.
Sadness is a natural feeling, but sometimes they may appear in unusual circumstances. When someone is feeling blue for unknown reasons, have patients and show compassion.
Everyone can act like a child, but not everyone can be an adult. We need to look inwardly and reflect on ourselves before we damage the relationships we have around us.
It's mandatory to grow old, it's optional to grow up. Even Christians can fail to recognise their own immaturity, wake up and change for the better.
We all age whether we like it or not; our maturity, is up to us to decide. We can learn from childish behaviour but must not emulate them.
Maturity does not come with age, even old men can act like spoiled children. It is a process that requires action.
Leadership is a role that should not be taken lightly. Those that have been called to lead, need to be competent and alert, as this world is abundant in hardships and dangers.
It can be difficult to follow tasks that seem unlikely to succeed, even if they are given by God himself. Trust in him and the results may become something you may have never expected.
Happy Father's Day to all the committed husbands and our Father in heaven. If you are a parent, today will be a special celebration but it will also be a careful reminder of how much of an influence you have over the lives of your wife and children.

As Christians we are called to follow Jesus' example, in how we act, in what we say and what we want. We are constantly going through sanctification. What have you left behind in your pursuit to follow Jesus?
God is omnipotent and omnipresent, but do we really treat him so? How often do we ask such a God for help? And do we bend our knees to him only when we are in need?
God is known by many names, and his existence dates back before all things. How well do you know God?
Everyone who doesn't know Jesus Christ are in danger of going to Hell, we are on a mission to deliver the message that will change their eternal destination to Heaven.
Are you going to withhold that message?
Miracles happen when impossibilities stack up against us. It is only when we are willing to follow God into the unknown is where we can experience his miracles.
The secret to a content life is Jesus. How much you trust him, is how content you will be.
Is it right for Christians to have big ambitions in life or not at all? what does the bible say about having an ambition?
If we receive everything we want, will that be enough for us? Or is it the start of wanting even more? Learning to be grateful with what we have now, is a challenge to people who are eager for material things. How can we overcome this?
Our God is beyond our imagination. Beyond anything we can fathom. Yet, we put our trust in gods that we created with our imaginations.
God gave first, and will keep on giving. How do we respond to God's unending generosity?
It is not about the money and what we have, but it is about love. Can you love without giving?
In reality, mother's day for some is not a happy day. But let us remind ourselves that this could be an opportunity to forgive and do something about it.
Best way to grow as a Christian, is when we go back to God for everything. As a church, we need to bring everyone back to the Lord.
How should we live for God in our everyday life? How do we bring glory to God with every aspect of our lives?
Do you believe that God loves you and wants the best for you? Trusting God that he will bring someone in your life for you is hard, because we want what we want. In the Bible it says "not to be equally yoked with an unbeliever". Do we trust God enough to follow his word?
There's a few things you need to look for when searching for a partner in order to have a fulfilling marriage life. What could that be?
The world's method of finding a partner will mostly lead to the wrong 'one' or a painful experience that you didn't have to go through. But God's method will lead you to a life more fulfilling than you wouldn't have imagine.
God has a process for everything. He has a process for courtship, dating and marriage. Problems sprouts when we mess with God's process.
In our everyday life we are always confronted with decisions whether to choose God's way or our own way. God allows us to freely make those choices but we can't choose the consequences we get as a result of those choices.
There's two ways to live our life. It is either our own way or God's way. Living our lives in God's way preserves our lives more than we can imagine but living our lives our way can destroy our lives more than we can imagine.
Let us not shy away from monotonous and boring task. Doing those little task creates a big impact in God's kingdom. Let us continue to endure till the end.
It is time to examine ourselves before God. There will be things that we discover about ourselves that are not pleasant, but God in his power can change us completely if we accept that we need to change and take action by turning back to God.
Although uncertainties surrounds us everyday, knowing God gives us certainty for our future.
Building a church community comes with all kinds of problems because we are dealing with sinners. We may disagree and be in conflict with each other, but with God there is always the hope of restoration of relationships, through forgiveness and love that Christ demonstrates for us to follow.
When you see a rainbow after the rain does it remind you of God? After a disaster, do you see God working? Depending on our answer, it will reveal our trust and hope in God and will act accordingly.
What is the first thing you should do after a disaster? Many people are grateful that it is finally over. They take themselves and other people like them. But for us Christians what is the first thing we should do?

God understands that this is not easy, that is why he will always give us his word and remind us of our purpose so that we do not lose hope. God's grace is sufficient in each step we make towards a future and purpose that we are destine to accomplish through Jesus our Lord.
God put authorities and government in place and we should submit to them, but when the government is encouraging its citizens to do evil then we should resist that government.
God has a purpose for everything. For now, God is giving us a warning to repent, shaking us, because the time is near when he will judge the world. Are you ready?
Is your Christian life closely resembles a marshmallow or a life of a martyrs.
In life we will have trouble, but when the hard times comes, will you still choose Christ?
Everything that is shakeable is temporary and will disappear, make sure that you are not relying on temporary things in life. When the shaking comes, all that you have worked for and the faith you have built will be tested.
Bread and circus is a strategy to control a population's unrest against the government. But our bread does not come from the powerful governments and people but from Jesus, who is the bread of life. Jesus is the source of our liberty and our master but as the pandemic progresses, it is becoming hard to tell whether we really believe that Jesus is our master.
JEREMIAH 6:1616 This is what the LORD says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’
1. What are the Ancient Paths?
GENESIS 1:27-28
27So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. 28God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”PSALM 20:7-87 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. 8 They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm.
2. Why should we choose the Ancient Paths?
a) Because it is the Proven Paths.
b) Because it is the Proper Paths.
PSALM 127:1-2
1 Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. 2 In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat - for he grants sleep to those he loves.
3. What should we do with the Ancient Paths?
JEREMIAH 6:1616 This is what the LORD says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and WALK IN IT, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘WE WILL NOT WALK IN IT.’
