The Healing Room Podcast is a space where we feed the mind so we can feed the art! We accomplish this by creating a therapeutic dialogue between a various array of creatives. Our conversations can range from their creative process to how they overcome challenges. Our goal is to support people by learning how we can be(come) more emotionally, spiritually, and mentally sound in life while harvesting our healing and growth every day.

Tiffany Haddish an American Actress and "co-star" Aries Spears, were sued for sexual child abuse. According to several news media outlets there may have been a settlement between the then glorified actress and the children. Despite the aftermath of this horrendous case sexual child abuse takes place in Hollywood and amongst civilians everyday. This episode is an ode to every person who hasn't released the trauma of their childhood abuse. It's time. You deserve to heal.

Dejon Campbell is a communicator, journalist, creative, and pastor from Washington, DC. Throughout his career, Dejon has oversaw the content and development strategy efforts for various organizations, startups, and ministries. His ministry experience spans nearly a decade, in which he led and developed youth, young adult, and teaching ministries for churches in Washington, DC, North Carolina, Texas, and Nairobi, Kenya.
In the fall of 2021, Dejon decided to launch an inclusive church called HAUS (hope, acceptance, unity, and service). His goal is to create a space where people feel welcomed, loved, and affirmed.
In addition to his work in ministry, Dejon has also worked in journalism as a news reporter and host of two podcasts that were centered around faith and justice. Dejon currently resides in Dallas, Texas, but will always represent for his hometown of Washington, DC. He attended Regent University and has plans to obtain his Masters of Divinity degree in the near future. .

About Nnamdi: My name is Nnamdi Nwaigwe, I am a proud Nigerian American from New York –– currently, I live in Atlanta, GA. About Natasha: “I think I was always destined for a unique life. My upbringing was alternative — homeschooled from TK through 12th grade in a Christian home in the mountains. By the time I was 12, I knew how to garden, cook full course vegan meals, and used to sell homemade bread to the neighbors to pay for violin lessons I wanted. I treasure the upbringing I had because it taught me that everything is within reach - it all just comes down to how hard you want to work for it. The mindset that you can learn anything because knowledge is free, has brought me a long way. As a teenager, I found a love for travel. I dreamed of what I would do as an adult and after a month-long trip to the Philippines when I was 16, I decided I wanted to help the world in the medical field somehow. When I was 18 I spent 9 months in Albania, and as I added more countries to my list, the more I wanted to travel.

About Darius: Darius Washington is a pre-licensed therapist with his Masters of Science in Clinical Counseling Psychology, he is currently practicing in the state of Georgia at Adrienne White Therapy in Norcross, GA. About Sincerity: Denise ‘Sincerity’ Garcia is a Brooklyn-born artist who takes pride in her cultural richness by fusing her gritty New York background with the tropical and ancestral sounds from Latin America. Sincerity raps in the streets of New York and on stages of the world. In August 2018, Sincerity toured in Uganda with Rhyme Like a Girl led by the first Hip Hop Ambassador for the State Department: Toni Blackman. In May 2019, she was one of five U.S artists and one of two Hip Hop Ambassadors chosen to go on tour with One Beat Colombia. On March 12th of 2020, Sincerity dropped her first single titled El Amor ft Alexis Play and Sarah Cangussu. Her single has been played across radio stations in Ecuador and the most renowned radio station in Colombia El Radio Nacional de Colombia. Sincerity is an MC and poet committed to her craft and community. She has created, led, and facilitated Palabras a Vida or Lyrics to Life: The Workshop in Latin America and New York City where young people use their voices through poetry, dance, and music to express themselves. She is characterized by her passion for words and her desire to serve the people. Sincerity continues to cultivate her artistry and is driven by her vision to be a bridge between cultures through Hip Hop and poetry on a global scale.
