Love him or hate him, President Donald Trump is making some BIG changes. YUGE!!! Among one of these changes is an Executive Order that is not going over terribly well with a large population. Unfortunately, these kind of drastic actions need to be taken to ensure our safety. It's only for 90 days, so suck it up. Obama banned immigration from Iraq in 2011 for twice as long and no one whined about that. What gives???
For millennia mankind has had to deal with wretched self-absorbed individuals with a propensity for being pugnacious and disreputable. They've been historically limited to the damage they can cause, but now they are in high positions of power in Academia, the Mainstream Meda and in Government and they're muzzling the voices of freedom with Political Correctness. Let's all give a great big middle finger salute to our unfriendly neighborhood SOCIAL JUSTICE WARRIORS!!
So here we are…. less than 90 days away from the election that's sure to either make or break us as a nation. But here’s the thing, this election cycle is bringing out the worst in us.
The social unrest is reflective of the 60's. But somehow we made it through that time of political turmoil. But how did we do it? Can it be done again in this day and age with all the new technology that we have to communicate with?
In this episode, I make the case that the last thing we need for real social change is social media. It's counterintuitive (I say as I post this on Twitter and Facebook, haha) As incredible as the Internet is as a tool for communication, sometimes face to face interaction will help us keep our sanity and our humanity intact! Been a long time since my last podcast. But here it is. The mindset of race-baiters is to cause discord and chaos. The two things we DO NOT NEED NOW IN THESE TIMES. So why is the Media and our own President stirring the people up. Where's that "unity" we were promised 8 years ago? Can we come back from this?
