On this episode of Salt & Light, Bonnie and Janice talk about Offense. Offense can be anything from someone lying about you, insulting you or disrespecting you.
They talk about Joseph, in the Bible, who was treated unfairly by his brothers and accused of things he didn't do; but God brought him justice and victory.
Janice also shares one of manyyyyy stories of offense and how God vindicated her over a situation with a former coworker. It isn't a sin to be angry but it is a sin to allow that anger to get the best of us.
So..what will YOU decide? Try to get revenge or allow God to get justice for you? He is our Vindicator.

On this episode of Salt & Light (Part 2 of 2), Bonnie and Janice talk to Jaimie, Janice's friend, about her testimony from New Age to SAVED! Jaimie wasn't raised in a church or knew of God when she got into Reiki, Astrology, Tarot Cards, etc. One of her life plans was to open up a shop and perform "healings" by way of reiki. Jaimie talks about her experience with New Age, how God saved her and how she still struggles with falling back into old habits. We discuss the enemies tactics of deception and getting her to think she was able to heal herself. Jaimie looked forward to the "high" from her reiki "healings" until God opened her eyes and showed her what it meant to TRULY be healed.
On this episode of Salt & Light (Part 1 of 2), Bonnie and Janice talk about what God says about Witchcraft, Astrology, Numerology, Tarot Cards and other "spiritual movements" of our day. They talk about reasons why people are attracted to these movements and how the enemy leads us in thinking there is nothing wrong with the practice. They take a look in the Word of God to see what Jesus had to say about the religious people of that time (Matthew 23 & Luke 18),how to have an every day, intimate walk with Him... and yes..that means not just on Easter Sunday's!

They talk about how Janice has had prideful behavior in her relationships, speech and even waiting in line at the store! The odds were stacked against Janice and Ariel's marriage from the beginning through different hurtles but God overcame them all and through that showed His faithfulness. On the third episode of Salt & Light (first of two parts!), Janice and Bonnie talk about Janice's experience with God that healed and restored her heart after so many disappointing relationships. This specific experience led her into full surrender of her life to God. Through that painful time, Janice touches upon some of the memorable, funny and learning lessons that God held her hand through.
On the second episode of Salt&Light, Bonnie shares her experience with God that forever changed her life. Even though Bonnie grew up in church, she didn't have a relationship with God; but through her struggles with anxiety and juggling motherhood, Bonnie was forever changed by God's love and faithfulness.
On the first episdoe of Salt&Light, Janice and Bonnie talk about growing up in an Evangelical church in the Bronx,NY and how that impacted their lives. This episode touches upon all the church songs they grew up with, how they made it through the marathon church services (with the help of their cousins!) and scrounging up dollar bills to buy pastellitos after the service. Even though they learned about religion (Christianity), it wasn't until later in life where they experienced relationship with God.
