Bridging The Gap is a podcast dedicated to giving creative artists the platform to speak in-depth on their work, their journeys, and the things that inspire and motivate them. Hosted by SET, each episode will give you a new insight and appreciation for the work of these brilliant individuals.
In this episode I spoke with reclusive star AYLØ, a Nigerian musician who has removed the lines between Rnb, Rap, and soul in the creation of a sound wholly unique to him. We covered a number of topics in this episode, including his tendency to record projects a couple of years before he releases them, struggles he faced while building up his career in Lagos, how he maintains his work ethic and much more. In this episode, I speak with Anthony Azekwoh, an author, digital artist, entrepreneur, curator, and philanthropist with a relentless work ethic. I've known Anthony since the beginning of his creative career and seeing him go from a writer with an independent blog to a digital artist with artwork in global demand has been a trip to say the least! Anthony reflected on his origins as a writer, spoke on the challenges of separating your personal identity from a personal brand, and shared many lessons he's learned along the way. In this episode, I speak with digital artist and art/creative director extraordinaire, Niyi Okeowo.
