Life is full of things that will break you if you don’t find inspiration to motivate you to make a change. That is just what our guest Jeff Johnston did. After the death of his son, and later his wife Jeff became an advocate for bringing awareness to substance use and addiction in teens and young adults by speaking at high schools and community events, and even joined the board of a local treatment facility that his son spent time at before his death.
He is also the founder of his own non-profit, the Living Undeterred Project with the aim of changing the narrative on mental health and substance use disorder. He is currently working on a new mental health project, Brightn, geared toward Gen Z.
