This was a straight-up action story, making it a good follow-up to the last episode's supernatural thriller. Seeing a newer character like Onomatopoeia in a period piece was cool.
The episode wasn't bad per se, but it's puzzling why they'd change Harley so much. Like with Penguin, making a new original character in a similar story would make more sense.
This wasn't quite as good as the Clayface episode but it was still pretty darn good. It's a perfect example of a show being dark and gritty without going over the top.
I think most fans would agree that Christina Ricci could probably play Catwoman in a live-action film. There are also more puzzle pieces in play for future episodes like the police's increasing frustration with Batman. It's also likely we'll see the villains again, whether they escape individually or en masse.
This was a VERY solid premiere. The show is still a very well-done period piece and a great introduction to this new entry to the Batman mythos.
We got our first look at Batman: Caped Crusader along with a voice cast list. Plus, our obligatory review of The Acolyte Episode 6.
This looks like a period piece and a return to the noir roots of the character, like how Bob Kane originally conceived the character. The bad guys have Tommy guns and the cars look to be from the 1940s.
First appearing in Showcase #17 in 1958, Strange was hardly the first hero to don a rocket backpack. However, unlike his movie serial predecessors, Strange is still around today.

It's practically impossible to overestimate the amount of baggage attached to this film, even without the controversy around its main star, Ezra Miller. Not only is there a ton of real-life drama, the DCU films have largely failed to see the success seen for the MCU.

Black Adam is a fun romp that is definitely one of the better DC movies to come along in a while. That said, it is fair to say that this movie works better as a primer for the next series of DC movies rather than as a standalone movie. But that's what post-credits scenes are for...
