This Fragmented Life is a phrase where this world is broken into very small pieces and broken into fractions. From having dreams with my siblings to connecting with my father when he was traveling on a boat to America, different fragments of the past presented themselves as I explored Munich, Germany. I ended up taking many wrong turns, but with each one, there was always something new to learn.

Title Inspiration: Kamiak Winter Percussion performance - This Fragmented Life in 2012. I was in middle school at the time, but when I was in winter percussion, I recall watching this many times.

Episode Breakdown:

  • Sibling Dream = 1:26
  • Running around Munich = 4:54
  • Visiting the Observatory = 8:21

The Razor’s Edge is an idiom where you are in an uncertain or dangerous situation. Traveling to Europe alone was the next big step in my journey of life. I had no idea what was going to happen when I first made it there. I did minimal research because I wanted to approach it one step at a time. From the moment I woke up to board my plane to the time I returned back from Oktoberfest, I was living on the edge of life.

Title Inspiration: Rhythm X’s performance - The Razor’s Edge in Dayton, Ohio in 2014. This year was when I traveled to Dayton, Ohio to compete in the Percussion World Championship.

Welcome to my first podcast episode!

Finding your voice and sharing it with others is a daunting task. It is a vulnerable state where you put yourself out there and speak whatever is on your mind to allow others to view your world. Everyone has their own journey of how they found their voice and mine is no exception.

In this episode of Phu's Adventures, we will be covering how I ended up podcasting from my journey of blogging. We'll be talking about events such as how I began blogging, what blogging led me to experience from adventures to gatherings, and the trials along the way.
