We are a bunch of friends trying to navigate through the different seasons in our lives, as we try to merge all the spaces we move around in: faith, ministry, career, relationships, and everyday life.
No, we’re not here because we’re holy; but we’re trying to be, and we’d love for you to journey with us and join our awkward and random conversations every Tuesday! Now that sounds holy. 😉
What does it look like when we really embrace the gifts that God has given to us? It can sometimes be so scary because we don’t know what it’ll look like or if we’ll like it at all. But, in this conversation, we discover how this journey to embracing what God has given us is so full of many good things, the biggest good of them all being finding traces of God every step of the way. **SORRY FOR BEING MIA! We had technical (and scheduling) difficulties.
In this episode, we talk about our ~insecurities~, our triggers, and how we deal with them. This was quite a difficult thing to talk about, cause it felt like we had to be so so so vulnerable and admit these things that we normally keep to ourselves. But it was also very freeing because we realized that we’re not alone in this and that God still very much delights in what we give and who we are.
It seems like everyone has been feeling the ‘sad’ lately because everything that could happen seems to be happening all at the same time and, honestly, it all just seems too much. So we thought we’d do a vulnerable conversation and really dig out something we can hold on to for now. We hope you get something from this too.Follow us:

Here’s part 2 of our conversation with Sam and Mira Pangkey of LOJ Indonesia where we talk about what it’s like to be Catholics in their country and how different (or similar!) our cultures are. This was such an interesting conversation and a very timely reminder for us that we are so privileged that we have access to this very beautiful Catholic faith! Now… how do we live that out?

Watch out for part 2!

It’s 2024! Eyyy! We’re so glad to finally be back! 2023 was a blur (unlike last January that felt longer than the whole of 2023). This episode, we kinda summed up our 2023, sharing some highlights and reflections para may pa-life update din kami sa inyo haha! Also since it’s the start of a new year, we shared about what we’re looking forward to the most; and one thing we look forward to is uploading more episodes faithfully! For this episode, we had the chance to chat with The Catholic Comedian and Social Media Missionary, Mr. Romar Chuca. And because of that, we’ve got our friends, Kuya Mike Viñas, Kim Paguio, and Hannah Dela Rosa of Feast Worship to share with us a sneak peak of what’s to come this coming Worship Night. Haranas? Friendster testimonials? NGL messages? What does love look like for you? How do you show your love to others? In this third part of our 5-episode series on LOVE, we discuss how love that is given comes in many forms, shapes, and sizes, alongside the many causes and effects that receiving those kinds of love may possibly bring (a.k.a. LOVEuage Barriers)
Aio is back! And we're back in Booya Bagels for this episode because we had to let him try it out. 😅 We're on the second part of our 5-episode series on LOVE and for this episode, we jump off of an excerpt from the book: "You're Not Enough, And That's Okay" by Allie Beth Stuckley. We talk about the importance of giving AND receiving love, and of course, the model of perfect love.
We’re talking about self love to kick off this 5-part series on love! We’ve also invited Teppy, a very special friend of ours, to join this conversation on creating, nurturing, and holding a safe space for ourselves where our own hearts can be free to bloom and grow.Join us, Donuts! 🍩

During the height of the pandemic, it was an understood thing when plans from work and personal life got canceled at the last minute. It became more acceptable to “flake”. Now that things are starting to go back to normal though, it’s still an obvious struggle for us to show up and really commit to the plans we’ve made with friends, family, work and ministry.
What can we do about this? In the big picture, does commitment really still matter? We talk about that in this episode!

“I remember looking at everybody and just God speaking to my heart, saying: “this is my gift to you, I’m giving you front row seats to see what you are made for - you are made to worship.”
A lot of us automatically think of white fluffy clouds, angels in pure white robes, and trumpets blowing when we think of holiness. But what does it really mean to be holy? And how can we live that out in our careers, relationships, or anywhere else outside the Church? Join us in this laughter-filled conversation as we talk about our journey towards holiness (and all the struggles that come with it).

“It’s a struggle for some who want to have a relationship with God, but they feel or they think that they have to be a certain person, or they have to reach a level of maturity to get into that; not knowing that you can just be who you are and have a relationship with God.” - Aio Barcelona
Hello, nice to meet you! For this episode we share with you a little bit about our friendship dynamic, how we met and why we have come together to do this podcast. If it were up to us, we would not have planned our friendship to grow in this way, but we’re definitely grateful for this gift and this is something we hope to share with you as we go along.

We are a bunch of friends trying to navigate through the different seasons in our lives, as we try to merge all the spaces we move around in-- faith, ministry, career, relationships, and everyday life.
No, we’re not here because we’re holy; but we’re trying to be, and we’d love for you to journey with us and join our awkward and random conversations every Tuesday! Now that sounds holy.
