I summarize the beautiful book of Esther!

For a full 180 days he displayed the vast wealth of his kingdom and the splendor and glory of his majesty. Esther 1:4

The book of Zephaniah talks about Gods judgment and wrath on his people. God seeks to turn his people from their wicked ways and has to wake them up with his harsh wrath that almost destroys them. God doesn’t do this to destroy them forever. He does this so they know he is God and to turn his people back to him. The prophet Zephaniah is calling on his people to repent and turn from their wicked ways before Gods anger and wrath comes. The people will not listen. There is good news though. God is not doing this to destroy his people forever. He’s doing it so the people will turn back to him. God is saying if the people will turn from their wicked ways, he will not only save them, he will bless them. This book is about gods mercy for his people and how if we turn from our ways, he will not only save us, but bless us. God will sing songs of joy, and rejoice over us if we turn from our wicked ways. I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumbling blocks with the wicked: and I will cut off man from off the land, saith the Lord. - Zephaniah 1:3
And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord, that there shall be the noise of a cry from the fish gate, and an howling from the second, and a great crashing from the hills. -Zephaniah 1:10

Let’s learn about the Book of Ruth! It’s a story of 2 woman both experiencing pain loss death and suffering but lean on each other and journey out of Moab into Bethlehem in hopes of a brighter future. Both woman I bet had no idea that scary leap of faith Journey would lead to them being rewarded by the lord with marriage royalty and even blood relatives of Jesus! “At this they wept aloud again. “But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.” -Ruth 1:16 “Then Orpah kissed her mother-in-law good-by, but Ruth clung to her.” Ruth1:14 “Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the LORD deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.” Ruth 1:17
Lord give us strength today to carry on despite the many afflictions pain and sorrow we face.

The Book of Job A man who had it all looses it all but stays loyal to God throughout his suffering and loss. Many Judged him saying he must have sinned to experience soo much suffering but he was a noble God loving man. The will of God can be painful but in the end God will do as he promises 100 fold every single time if you are loyal to him. Job was redeemed in time and stayed loyal to God during the good and bad times. “My soul is weary of my life; I will leave my complaint upon myself; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul. I will say unto God, Do not condemn me; Shew me wherefore thou contendest with me. Let’s learn about the spirit Jezebel. 1 Kings 21: 1-29Now Naboth the Jezreelite had a vineyard in Jezreel, beside the palace of Ahab king of Samaria.
