In this episode, we explore the importance of consistent innovation in business and introduce the S-Curve model.
The S-Curve model illustrates the product life cycle, consisting of three phases: Startup, Scale Up, and Stagnation. Through this model, we understand the need for businesses to continuously launch new innovative products. Without innovation, a business becomes outdated and loses ground to competitors.
In the Startup phase, investments are high, and income is low, potentially leading to negative profits. However, successful acceptance by consumers propels the business into the Scale Up phase, where revenues and profits experience significant growth. Finally, in the Stagnation phase, revenues and profits reach their peak but start to plateau.
To avoid decline, it is vital for businesses to anticipate the Stagnation phase by embracing consistent innovation. Look at the iPhone's success as an example, where even incremental upgrades keep consumers engaged.

In this episode, we will discuss how advertising works. What happens in our brains when we see advertisements? What triggers us to buy the products after seeing the advertisements? The two schools of thought on advertisements, i.e. between functional and emotional needs. The importance of building emotional connections between the advertisements and the consumers' brains. The reason why advertisements must be consistent, and repeated again and again. And how to make consumers' purchase decision feels just right on a subconscious level.
