How do you respond to a life changing event. Highly recruited baseball athlete, Parker Byrd, going into his freshman season at East Carolina University was in a boating accident. This unfortunate accident caused him to lose his leg, but how he responded and endorsed the adversity has encouraged himself and others to keep striving for their goals. Keeping his faith in God at the forefront of his life has allowed him to continue a goal of starting for the East Carolina Pirates Baseball team.
