In today’s episode, I talk about in-depth consultations and how to get returning clients! These two things go hand-in-hand and you have to be great at one to be successful at the other! A good In-depth consultation can be tricky, especially when starting. Clients and Stylists see different things when looking at a goal photo taken from Pinterest! In today’s episode, I explain how to thoroughly go through a consultation and ensure you and your client are on the same page! I also break down a few of the things that I have done to show my clients that they are appreciated because, in the end without them, we wouldn’t be able to do our job!🤍

In today’s episode, I talk about salon horror stories! This has been a very much requested episode for a while now and I have been putting it off because I don’t want it to come off the wrong way. In the end, we as stylists all deal with it, and honestly most of these stories my clients and I can look back on and laugh now. Some we can’t though and that’s okay! It’s okay to “fire” a client if you get stressed about their appointment, never feel good enough for them, get nervous about what they will say, and aren’t appreciated. We all learn the hard way, especially at the beginning! Listen in for some crazy stories, that will give you a good laugh.

In today’s episode, I talk about comparison and what it means to me. Social media has a very big part in comparing yourself to others. We all need to remember that social media is only the outermost layer in most people’s lives. We don’t see the struggles and hardships that they have had to go through. In this episode, I give some advice on how to stop comparing yourself to others and ways we can get out of the “comparison rut”.
