Welcome to The Continuum. Adam (the English one) and Kyle (the South African one) talk about a whole bunch of different things... and it goes on and on. We always start the latest episode where we finished the last. It's an ongoing conversation, that never ends... until neither of us can be bothered to do it anymore! We start from a random conversation that we have in an unaired episode that we may one day release, but who knows?
No topic is off-limits!
Thinking they were about to continue the chat on different chilli plants and sauces, Adam was slightly caught off guard when Kyle decided to actually talk about the Red Hot Chili Peppers band. The guys wonder if Anthony Keidis is good or bad, before talking all sorts of music for nearly the entire episode, finally landing on the experience of music stores.

After Adam gets too ahead of himself in the intro, the guys discuss cereals and how having your Weetabix in the morning can help you get on with your day. Well, they question how that became a part of their marketing strategy anyway. The food talk doesn't go away all that much either as they find themselves discussing hot sauce chillis, and trying to gain more listeners with their own marketing strategy of mentioning the Red Hot Chili Peppers!

The guys talk about some of their best holidays and what makes a holiday. Does it count as a holiday if you don't get on a plane or a boat? They discuss what makes for the best service stations to visit on the journey and eventually get on to cereal. Who doesn't love taking a multipack of cereal on holiday with them?

In this weeks episode, the guys relive their youth with some nostalgic memories which includes a lot of cartoons, film & TV, fast-food chat and hopefully nothing that they've suppressed for a good reason. This naturally leads them on to the subject of how they spent their holidays in their youth - albeit very briefly.

The guys love movies. So it's no big surprise that they are able to talk about things films for an entire episode without getting too far off track (for a change). Nic Cage gets mentioned as long time listeners would come to expect, so they contemplate how he once won an Oscar for a little while before heading down memory lane, in order to finish in a nostalgic daze.

To kick things off in this episode, Adam delivers in his promise to ask AI if it is or can be, conscious (They're listening and will eventually kill us all). We finish up on one of our favourite subjects, Movies, where we try to figure out that Zac Efron film where Matthew Perry turns into Efron and goes back to school. Not 13 Going On 30!

The guys are back to discuss their doomsday plans, talking about everything they plan to stock up on in their bunkers. They even try to come up with the best weapons in order to take on the apocalypse. Before long, they find themselves back on the subject of AI and consciousness.

In this week's episode, the guys discuss the joys of car boot sales and all the great things that people part with for next to nothing. They also dream of some day finding some great treasures in the attic of an old house they might move into. Things take a turn when the guys start stocking up on tinned foods and toilet rolls in preparation for an apocalypse.

This week, the guys discuss the power of silence, before finding a way to talk about comic books and collectibles once again. This leads us on to bargain hunting and the wonder that is the car boot sale.
Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
The guys get cracking with some more interesting interview experiences and work their way through a number of different subjects before they spend a bit of time talking about lawyers. Something takes them off topic (no surprise there), where they forget what they were talking about, thus ending the episode on silence... idiots.

This week, Adam and Kyle discuss politicians (much to Adam's disgust) - should we even have politicians and, if so, how many parties should really be running the country? This conversation goes on far too long for Adam's liking so he changes the subject as quickly as he can before the chat makes it's way to 'job interviews'. Topics include what makes a good interview and what makes a bad one. They also cover things you definitely shouldn't do if you want to get the job.

The guys continue their virtual reality discussion wondering when we the fully-immersive VR bodysuit will be released to the public after the extensive military testing. The conversation goes on various twists and turns and somehow ends up on the subject of politicians - a subject that Adam hates.

This week, the guys return to talk Kyle's cooking tips, only, Kyle doesn't really have any so, they discuss a little bit about cooking before the conversation moves on to other paths until they wind up on virtual reality.

It's by pure coincidence that episode 69 starts with a conversation on smoked meats, however that's where the guys are at the beginning of this episode and they talk about it for all of 5 minutes at best before heading off down a variety of different subjects, arriving at Kyle's life hacks. Join us next week to find out more.

This week, the guys enter the world of suntanning to find out just how orange they're willing to go. We all love a tan, but is the Essex tan the way forward? They continue in their usual way, getting sidetracked on various different subjects, eventually discussing the processes of smoking meats.
Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
This week, the guys duke it out to talk about fighting and what their fighter nicknames would be. Naturally you want to look good when you fight, so what better way to do that then by getting your tan on.

On this week's episode, the guys try to decide whether Musk's Cybertruck looks good or bad. They then try to work out what weight division they would fight in if they turned to MMA for their kicks (pun intended).

This week, Kyle tells us all about his childhood pet, Squarky (may not be it's actual name), before going off topic pretty quickly down a number of different rabbit holes, before they get back into Musk territory to talk about the awful looking "Cybertruck".

On this week's episode, Kyle and Adam discuss Lego and get nostalgic talking about other childhood toys. They also get started on childhood pets trying to remember if there were any obscure ones in there.

After not getting round to recording a proper trailer for the show, Adam decided everything Kyle said here was good enough. Hopefully this is all you need to want to listen to a couple of guys talking nonsense and find out a bit more about life growing up in the UK compared to growing up in Africa.

This week, Adam has crappy internet due to a storm and is hoping the edit was a success. We research the thing that everyone was shouting at us in the previous episode, and eventually make our way to the plastic gold... LEGO!!

On this episode the guys try to figure out how they would cope if faced with being in solitary confinement before trying to figure out a way to become world champion at something. The answer lies in an up and coming sport that neither of them can remember the name of. You will all be shouting the answer at us in this one.

Time travelling their way around, the guys try to figure out if they can make their millions by being the smartest man in the 50's. The answer is clearly, NO! They keep the conversation going and discuss the importance of talking with one and other, before Kyle realises that he just would rather be left alone.

On this week's episode, Adam has calmed down slightly from his previous rant and is ready to discuss the world of fashion as they ask each other "Who are you wearing?". Fast forward to the future, the guys embark on another discussion about time travel.

It's New Year's Day and the guys are back to discuss their hangovers. Their memory of last night may be hazy, however memories of previous New Years are not too bad. They once again reach a point where they give answers to the questions they probably have no idea about and somehow wind up on game shows.

Merry Christmas Everyone!! Yes, it's Christmas day and the guys are discussing all the delights of the day, from presents to food to sitting on the sofa unable to move, whilst nursing a bevvy! But the party doesn't stop there. We need to get ourselves up and ready for some New Year celebrations.

Does Kyle make a decision on which console he's going to buy, or do the guys just carry on talking about gaming in general? I think we all know the answer to that. The chat goes on to the point where we don our wetsuits and prepare ourselves for some cold waters to catch some waves and cross the other thing off of Kyles bucket list!

This week, the guys endeavour to find out the answer to that age old question "Are there showers on a submarine?". With Christmas coming up, we also find out what is on our wish list this year before discussing gaming and which console Kyle should get next. Will it be Playstation or X-Box?

It seems that the extensive variety of languages peaks the interests of Kyle and Adam this week as they spend almost an entire episode discussing the subject. They finish the episode with a very important question about submarines that, in all honesty, probably won't be answered next week.

This week, the guys discuss what is and isn't a confectionery, as well as our favourite confectionerys (is that a word), and then we meander down the path to the rocky cliff face of vegan chat. This could land us in hot water on the next episode.

It's our 50th episode so we've pulled in our good friend Stephen Fry to tell us absolutely nothing about his strange habits, so we quickly move on to discuss a range of things, including the best ways to deal with an injured pigeon that's found it's way into your garden. We somehow finish the episode talking about chocolate and confectionery, before bidding Steve farewell.

Adam and Kyle discuss why Star Wars holds up so well even to this day, before talking a whole load more nonsense as they eagerly make their way towards the 50th episode to discuss some more strange habits.

The evolution of the podcast continues before we quickly descend and de-evolve (if that's a thing). We eventually reach a point where we get to talk about cult classic films before finishing on Star Wars.

You are feeling sleepy. You are under the control of the Continuum podcast. This week we discuss the world of hypnoti, hyponsism, hipnotis or the word that Adam can't seem to say. We move on pretty swiftly before coming back to an old favourite of ours. Evolution.
Also Adam seems to have forgotten to turn his mic on properly, so all in all, not a good week for him.
