Without awareness of our thoughts and feelings we cannot be in a position to learn from them. Ultimately, OCD and anxiety is communication to us about how we are living our life. How we think, how we treat our emotions, how we feel about ourselves and our life. We must notice how our mind is reflecting our life back to us. Start by noticing and naming feelings and thought patterns.
The mind functions in a similar way as the physical body. The stimulus/response system guides our body and mind to adapt to meet the demands placed on it. Do you understand the powerful role you play in this process? Email address: Kurtzaaron88@gmail.comInstagram: OCD Hero

Trying to make oneself feel more “positive” can be a compulsive behavior for those with OCD that further keeps lower emotions from being felt and released.
