Alex Wolfe

Hey there! I'm Alex Wolfe, a 20-something that falls under the category of not knowing what to do in their life. I have so many thoughts in my head at any given time, and I recognized my best times of healing and clarity are when I: get my thoughts out verbally or on paper or and share them with someone to help me process. This daily podcast will be all about that. I want to share topics regarding self-growth (since this is my current journey), mental health, things that aren't really talked about but should be, advice/societal topics, and I also have a passion for fashion and beauty so there might be a little bit of that sprinkled in! While I'm on my journey of discovery and self-improvement, I hope I can inspire you and help you feel less alone.

They need no further explanation. Low energy, no bones, off days are infamous for sucking the life out of us sometimes. Being in an off day myself, I figured there's no better time to talk about this topic than today (that's the reason for this podcast, after all). While there's a little rant about the annoying parts of these days, I offer several helpful perspectives and tips on what to do when you're having an off day. Just know, you're not alone, and you're supported. Thank you for taking the time to listen. :)

We often get swept up in going through the motions that we don't realize we've been living on autopilot. When the pandemic hit, everyone seemed to wake into their consciousness, and I believe that somewhat contributed to the chaos of that time. I think it's easier for some to go into autopilot compared to others, and I fall into the category of it being extremely difficult. In this episode, I go further into how autopilot happens in the first place, where we see it in our daily lives, and my own journey with it so far. And, as always, a fun reflection question at the end. Thank you for taking the time to listen :)

For episode 6, I woke up extra early and was feeling inspired to talk about something more uplifting. Cue the topic: living a disciplined life. I delve into what discipline looks like for me, my own struggles, practical ways we see it on our every day lives, and the BEAUTY (yes, beauty) of it. It's all about perspective when it comes to discipline. We don't have to be perfect, but we are growing every day when we put in the effort of being more disciplined in our lives. I also sneak in some tips that have helped me become more disciplined and consistent too! Thank you for taking the time to listen. :)

I had a little difficulty picking today's topic because, frankly, I was in a really good mood and didn't feel so in-my-head. But, I'm trying to practice the art of consistency even when there doesn't seem to be a point. So, today's short and sweet episode is all about when I'm at my best. There are several key aspects that make me feel my best and why. I hope you gain insight from this session, and I challenge you to think about what characteristics you hold when you're at your best. No judgment. Thank you for taking the time to listen. :)

Today I want to shed some light on the fact that success can be crippling. This might seem like a very negative statement, but if you take a look at all the consequences that come with success, you might think differently. In this episode, I share 5 examples of how success can be crippling, get a little painfully honest as to why I wanted to talk about this topic today, and some bright truth and positive vibes at the end. Thank you for taking the time to listen. :)

On today's episode, we delve into the topic that you can have your dream life but still be unfulfilled. I recently heard Hannah talk about a similar topic on her podcast, Digital Diary. It really inspired me to talk about this further. I go into my theories as to why this happens, some encouragement for people going through this, and what can be truly fulfilling. Thank you for taking the time to listen. :)

Today's episode is all about the observation of difficult conversations. I feel like in today's world, it's easy to find ourselves in a very heavy, emotional argument/topic. These passionate conversations, if unchecked, can lead us down roads of misunderstanding, hatred, and disrespect. It's no secret that there will always be opposing views to our own, but our character can speak VOLUMES with how we handle these conversations. *Try giving the other person respect, grace, and your attention the next time a conversation is heated. Thank you for taking the time to listen. :)

*Listen to the whole episode to learn when it's not okay to do this <3

Hey there! I figured it'd make the most sense to make the first episode of ur daily friend about myself (the host), and the podcast itself. I talk a bit about me and my journey of deciding why I want to do this, as well as all the different kinds of topics I intend on exploring. This episode is short and sweet with no topic for today. Thank you for taking the time to listen. :)
