Welcome to Girl Can Try; a podcast about two friends who are figuring out life on their own timeline. On the brink of our thirties, life looks a little different than we thought it would. We’ve spent a lot of nights emptying bottles of Trader Joe’s pinot gris, shooting the shit. We know we’re not the only ones feeling like it’s a race against a clock that leaves us comparing our starting points with someone else’s middle. So we’re adding mics to our girls nights and all our welcome to sit with us. Join in as we have roundtable discussions on health, dating, finding purpose, and learning to love every season you are in.
Manifesting -- What is it? Does it really work?
It all starts with thinking from an abundance mindset & letting the universe do the work. Remember, rejection is just redirection. The more open to the possibilities, the more possibilities come around.
Listen as we talk “lucky girl syndrome”, visualizing success, and what you want for the future and how thinking positively can really change the trajectory of your life. We’ll also dive into specific ways to practice manifesting (from a google search).
Saying it is the first step to believing it. Whether it’s a relationship, a job, a vacation, a vibe -- staying positive really does have an impact. Allow good things to come to you by having an open mind and open heart.
We are no experts but we’re willing to give anything a try. It my not work- but what if it does?!

Ever feel like you don't belong in a room? Or like you're not qualified for a job? Or hesitate to follow a passion cause who are you to think you're good enough to succeed?
We don't have any stats to back this up, but we're gonna go out on a limb and say pretty much everyone has experienced Imposter Syndrome at some point. In this episode we talk about feeling like a fraud at work, feeling less than in social settings, being creatively indecisive, and fighting the notion of 'not good enough'.

“Nearly everything I know about love, I've learnt from my long-term friendships with women.” - Dolly Alderton
This week we're diving into female friendships! How grateful we are for the influence of our girlfriends and the evolution of friendship from childhood to adulthood. We take a look at how we've maintained close knit circles as we grow up and grow in different directions. Some friendships are built to adapt and last, while others might fizzle out over time.
